You will find a thread in your specific device forum and in sub-forums.
So that's why I wrote this guide for helping all members.

ups , my mistake sorry
thanks for this.
drzMiui is stopped development, you should write that in brackets next to it
great work
GamerzRom is not a ICS. That rom is JVU based.
nice work... a "Last updated" next to each room would be a perfect work
I will edit it when i have enough time , thank for you Info

Very interesting job
I think also could be very interesting to know which are base ROM and which are developments over these bases.
I know only about:
Base ROM:
- ELITE-ROM
Developments over Elite's ROM:
- MyICS Ultimate Fusion
- ICS EXTRAordinary
I've addet release date , and some other things..
When there is no release date , i didnt know when this rom released , but you can say it to me then i will edit it
thanks , i was exactly looking for something like this
BLUE LIGHTNING is now INFINITUM PROJECT. Read the last posts..
You forgot neo kernel but I believe development has stopped. Likewise the androidicasbrasil rom is missing.
Kernel missing
You missed Platypus ICS test kernel

@Xevez Dunno what you want to achieve with an incompleted list of "all" ics ROMs and kernels in dev section. Like the name says, this section is for devs to share their work and shouldn't be filled with useless threads. I hope a mod will move this thread. Btw I think there's already a similar thread in general section...

4.1.2 Messaging App detected by TrustGo as High Risk App?

Hi Guys,
Instead of asking this in every thread here in 7105 development (I've already asked in 2), maybe I'll post as a new thread:
If you have flashed 4.1.2 ROM, could you please kindly do a security scan with your security apps or TrustGO.
We've found this issue alerting about the Messaging app exploit alert.

This was detected after installing the deadman12's ROM based on teshxx's. And both thread's users confirmed they have this, now we're wondering if "stock" 4.1.2 ROM have this alert too??
Here's a link to details of this Smishing alert
sidenote: I'm using deadman12's screenshot above, because after flashing 4.1.2 ROM, my Messager still remains 4.1.1, and TrustGO gives the same alert too - now wondering if i can find a 4.1.2 Messager apk or zip to reflash
Thanks!!
I Can confirm that true im loking into this in My rom
I am using the stock 4.1.2 I will install trustgo now and come back here..

Sry Mod, I thought this would be better in N7105 thread coz there's a bit of difference between the 2 variations of Note II - N7100 and N7105 - as it is related to N7105's recent 4.1.2 ROM, anyways I'm cool with this being at Q&A too. sry for the extra work..

ok guys, thanks for checking this out.
It seems that only the modded rom have this alert?
Also, owl74, your screenshot of TrustGo looks a bit different from ours, is yours Version 1.2.9 too?
(About TrustGo screenshot attached)
I managed to delete off secMms.apk and TrustGo does not give me the alert anymore. Now, I use Go SMS Pro for my smses.
Any other guys having this issue? I'm particularly interested in results of deodexed vs odexed, and Perseus vs Stock kernel results too
Thanks!!
I just downloaded the app from play. Never checked the version. Sorry already uninstalled lah!

ok, I was trying a lot of ways to remove it, it could be Total Commander if I'm not mistaken.
It was found in root /system/app
Do make a copy of it to external SD card first, just in case..
Im getting this too on the [ROM][MDOB][ATT&CAN][UCUAMDL][JB][TW][4.2.2][LOKi'D][Jun.20.13] which is a rom for the galaxy s4
Trustgo is saying there's a virus called [email protected] in the messaging program. It didn't alert before I installed this rom. I tried to post on the thread but its locked.

Q Where can I download and How do I install?
A You can find the links to download and Installation instructions here. Pay close attention to this post, everything required for a successful flash is listed right here. If you fail to follow the instructions or meet the requirements for installation, you could run into some problems.
Q What are the known issues with this ROM?
A Right now there doesn’t appear to be any specific to this ROM. List will be updated as issues are found.
Q Are there any mods/tweaks available for this ROM?
A Yes, you can find a list of compatible mods/tweaks here and here
Q How’s battery life?
A I see this question asked repeatedly across all ROMS. Honestly there is no way to give you an answer based on a ROM. There are too many variables in question and results vary from user to user and device to device. Battery life is going to depend on age and condition of your battery, your use habits with your device, installed apps, tweaks, settings, etc...
Q How do I make a nand recovery?
A There is a very informative thread created by Timmetal6669 found here
Q Where can I find the newest JB recoveries?
A Right here be sure to thank Garwynn for all his hard work while you're there
Q How do I...
A Ask your questions and report your issues in this thread. You will receive a response and hopefully get you back up and running this ROM to its fullest

Mods already know about this guide, I saw the idea in RC forum, and cleared it with both Shadow and Jay before posting. I don't think it'll get stickied, I think the idea is more that if this becomes a viable, efficient thread, that other developers will follow suit for their ROMS.
If they do that, then link in their OP at top and bottom of OP then there shouldn't be anymore clutter in development:highfive:

So I've made the changes to the csc feature.xml file, made sure permissions were set exactly as before, rebooted and still no change. The MMS compression remains at a low 100kb compression. Any additional advice for me? Thanks again Stryke

Ok, try this. Go to messaging>settings - scroll down to MMS settings > Creation mode > Change from free to restricted
If this doesn't work, I'll see what I can do with the messaging app:good:

So flashing this won't overide comadose or is there no point if already having flashed the comadose tweaks?? Sorry if bad question but saw this in the dev thread but moved here in keeping with the requests.
Great idea for the thread..makes it neater and more stream lined.
Thanks again

No this won't affect init.d scripts, so you're safe to flash with comadose:thumbup:

Other Developers who have created some of the tools I recommend in this manual deserve your thanks as well!
Go find all of these threads and thank the developers involved when you get a chance!!!
Project Rookie -This has a guide for doing just about anything. Many items are specifically for Skyrocket but you can learn things such as MOD creation, Kernel Building, and other Advanced Customization. I would start reading here if I were you!
Dsixda’s Android Kitchen - This is a tool that is very usefully for Signing files, unpacking boot images, and many more development things.
AROMA - This was a guide made by CarvsDriver about Aroma.
Creating a Kernel Build Script -Tutorial by Ayysir teaching how you can automate things such as kernel building with a simple bash script.
Linaro Toolchains - This is the Linaro toolchain “hotspot” for discussion. You can learn more about linaro and ask question about building toolchains here.
Flashable ZIP Creation - This tutorial by wilskywalker is much more detailed than my quick chapter on Flashable ZIPs. Read this if you really want to be a MOD guru!
Bootanimation Creation - ayushrox gives a great guide here on making your own boot animations.

This is a gold mine my friend. One stop shop to learn how to to build roms. I noticed you said that your work isn't copyrighted. I know in Adobe Acrobat you can add some form of credentials, watermarks, password protect document, and maybe encrypt it (don't know for sure). Just want you to know options are available if you feel you need to have them in place.
You're the best!

And just earlier today I was thinking I'd make a simplified guide to explain outright everything I did to make jellybeast.. but I think this posting will cover the subjects. Good work!
This will definitely fall into the hands of the Darkside.

Definitely going to flip through this when I have the time. Been wanting to do something besides make recolours.
Thank you very much for this guide!
Love this. Thanks so much for writing it all up! I've got an idea for an addendum: Creating a boot animation. Here's a thread detailing it. Design & animation is something I really enjoy, and when I make my own rom it'll definitely be on the priority list.
Thanks again!

Do you have any clue what you are asking for? This is just not the correct thread. And it seems you don't know anything about MTK devices.
Head over to this thread and read everything from the first post, then you'll understand why you can't get CM for MTK devices.

I'm using Fancy Kernel pre45-2 and it's running very very smoothly. Very fast especially with ART. I think its compatible with Touch Control too. You should check the thread
Edit: it's working, make sure you have the paid version of Touch Control and choose the CM11 module.

Do you have guys any ideas why CM 11 ROMs have different interface colors than some AOSP based ROMs like AOKP and SlimKAT? I mean... In CM 11 mainly color is still blue (not grey like in KitKat), in AOKP or SlimKAT mainly color has changed to grey.
Look for example in attachment. First and third screenshots are from CM 11, second and fourth from AOKP.

Really? I think you're talking about the stock rom which is customised to get a 'look' of CM. And isn't this the reply you got for your 'look-alike CM' ?!
"Better search before speaking."
Don't tell me that cos I'm not a guy like you who gets fooled by a fake CM rom and then spams other threads by asking off-topic questions.
And please don't reply back here cos I don't want to spam this thread by replying back to you and I haven't even got time for clearing your doubts.
