[Guide] How to get PIE (LMT) on any rooted phone - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

I am always reading through out the forums about PIE control.
The Following are links on where to get LMT launcher which is very similar to PIE in my opinion better.
A SMALL DESCRIPTION BY noname81 :
LMT is a tool for Android (tested already on multiple devices - see below) that launches a command when perform single touch or multitouch gestures on the screen (In any app/screen/etc.). You can connect basic and advanced commands to any gesture LMT supports. In addition to the gestures you can activate a system-wide PieControl for navigation like the feature in the ICS stock browser (touch the side of the screen to activate it).
I AM ONLY PROVIDING LINKS, BY NO MEANS AM I CLAIMING THIS WORK MINE. JUST MAKING IT EASIER FOR PEOPLE TO FIND ALL THAT THEY WILL NEED IN 1 PLACE.
LMT LAUNCHER
LMT does not replace your launcher(nova, adw, holo etc..)

[REQ]Trebuchet Mod *URGENT*

Guys mostly people who have run cm9 love trebuchet but many people use rr,aokp, etc but they can get the settings for launcher in aokp like in cm9 setting so i request devs to add launcher settings to trebuchet itself
In 0.1 version of Trebuchet the launcher settings were itself in Trebuchet which could be achieved my pressing menu but in new versions this feature has been removed
I used 0.1 Trebuvchet but it looks very old so i request to make a similar mod for new one or theme 0.1 to latest
Screens of 0.1 vs latest

You can access the settings using adb. Its a roundabout way of doing it but who need to access the settings more than once. The other way is to use another launcher Apex for example and create a shortcut to the settings for trebuchet, set what you want then uninstall apex and your set (Again a roundabout way).
mate the thing that trebuchet really needs is faster transitions ,its damn slow when compared to nova and other 3rd party launcher..the only reason for it to survive on my phone is cuz of the stock look it has

How To Make Your Multitasking A Lot Faster And More Convenient [needs root]

Like many of you, I love my S3. One thing I HATE is the multitasking implementation. Holding the home button for 2 seconds is tedious and slows down the experience of a blazing fast phone
I have managed to overcome the problem and thought I'd share it in case this issue was frustrating others too. Essentially, it allows you to tap the bottom right hand corner of the screen to bring the multitasking bar up. This can easily be done with one hand, and I find makes using the phone a lot faster
Steps:
- Download GMD GestureControl (there is also a free version, although I am not sure if this will 100% work on that)
- Swipe right to 'custom gestures'
- Set up like this

[Q] One-handed operation without gesture?

I really like the "Use for all screens" One-handed operation, but unfortunately I use a few apps which requires a "Accessibility Service" which, turns out, breaks the gesture for One-handed operation (please fix this Samsung!)... So my question is... Can that feature be accessed via an app, or another method other then the "swipe" gesture?

This doesn't answer your question, but addresses overall one-handed operation.
Given that it's a bit of a strain to reach across the screen with my thumb (the back button, for example), this is one of the first things I installed
If you haven't used it, it's called LMT Pie. I set the targets to left, right and bottom. You can customize it as much as you want. FWIW..

The popular Samsung Experience ROM port haven't the Edge Screen/Full Screen gestures, and it's also not possible to hide the stock navigation bar by using the 3rd party apps.
In this video I've showed the way to remove the navigation bar permanently and to install Edge Gesture on the device .
This method is working for every devices with Samsung Experience ROM (Treble Port) i.e Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, One Plus 6 etc.

Question How do I use the old navigation gestures ?

In my Oneplus 5T running Android 10 and stock Oxygen OS, to get the old navigation gestures I used a trick successfully which is given here.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Oneplus5T/comments/grfwzu
I recently bought OnePlus 9RT 5G which is running stock Oxygen OS on Android 11. In the setedit list, I don't have the option of 'op_gesture_button_side_enabled'

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
I created a new entry for it and set its value to 0. Then I rebooted my phone. The trick doesn't work. What should I do now?
Like this
I already know that. I don't require navigation buttons. The navigation gestures what I require are from Android 9. To go back,(i.e. while web browsing , to back to previous pages, or while navigating folders in file explorer, you can go back to previous folders) you can slide your finger upwards from the bottom right of the screen.
The method that I have described used to work on Android 10 based Oxygen OS on Oneplus 5t.
have you tried adding it in as a new entry?
Yes I did. It didn't work. I already mentioned in the original post.
