also the battery life seems to be very good :good: from time to time if i use the home or back touchsensor button comes the message weather widget force close, since install from the rom it comes 2 times, not a big issues
I'm very, very impressed from this rom.
It's fast, fluid, really beautiful.
I applied sense 5 icons and except Internet Browser and Calendar icons everything is fine.
I never thought that full sense rom could work so smooth and with low temperature of the battery. After first installation of my apps the heat from battery is gone. Now it's even cold...

Of course it's not a big issue with icons, I just notice to you.
Also in Aroma I set blue battery, but now have a sense 5 battery. Is it because I applied the sense 5 icons?

Hi guys, today I want to show you my first ROM for my Galaxy S.
Actually it was made only for the forum in which I collaborate (www.uebarena.com/android-arena), however I decided to let it make an appearance on XDA too.
First of all, Credits:
-the whole cm7 team for the awesome AOSP rom
-zacharias.maladroit, for the awesome kernel
-the xda comunity, with its guides and tutorials which helped me out a lot
-my dear friend Memnoch (have a look at his rom on the DHD forums) who supported me in this process
-my beta testers which trusted me and tested all my builds.
Secondly, Features
(See Changelog in 2nd post)
SCREENSHOTS (launcher pro plus not included in the rom)

(quality is not the best, but he promised to make another one with a better camera, since he is recording with a galaxy mini as you can see )
Pre-installation:
-backup all your app &data before flashing (with titanium, mybackup ecc...)
-I suggest doing a factory reset, so that you come from a fully clean install.
-if you are already on a CM7, do a format of /system and wipe dalvik & wipe cache.
-if you are on a stock rom, first you need a CWM.
Installation
requirements:
_any gingerbread rom (stock or custom)
_CWM recovery
1)
_put the .zip file in your internal sdcard
_reboot in recovery
_factory reset
_install zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard> CyanoForTomorrow_v1.0.zip
_when it ends flashing, reboot
_Done. Enjoy.
2)
_download latest gapps here
_flash them in recovery
_Done
If coming from a previous release of CFT:
_reboot in recovery
_wipe dalvik & wipe cache
_flash the rom
_reboot
_after that, install the gapps
(optional) Post-installation
Battery calibration
_connect the phone to the charger, wait till it reaches 100%, then use the battery calibration app.
Change theme:
_open the theme chooser app, select a theme and apply it.
lockscreen ICS-style
_download the file ics-metamorphhere
_put it in your internal sdcard.
_open metamorph
_unzip/extract new theme
_tap the arrow and browse to the theme
_apply
change font
_downlod my font packhere.
_extract
_create a folder named .fontchanger in your sdcard and put all the fonts in it
_opene the app, choose the font and let it reboot (if not, do it manually)

hi thanks for this rom . .1 quick question ..i see u mention better wi fi which was 1 of the issues i had with 7.1 but i also kept getting the 'hello hello' bug with incoming calls .. and i didnt want to use the speakerphone trick ... is that solved with this rom ? thanks !!

my beta tester and myself didn't had any of these bugs, so they should not appear too

Feedback: The ROM is fast, good bootanimation, there is a small difference between default and zacharia's kernel, but i prefer the second one ! And that would be great if you include by default ICS theme and lockscreen .

that's mainly because not everybody likes it like I or we do...
I've received mixed opinions about this,
so I thought it would be better to let the end-user choose to apply the theme and the lockscreen, or to stick with a different theme/lockscreen.

Other thing Alex, i can't choose what to sync in my google account. In cyano "stock" i always untick Picasa sync, with your ROM, this feature doesn't exists

- Sorry, still no Aroma, i try alot but Dorimanx booted, tytung bootloop i'm so scare about bricked , that i think i will stop try Aroma ( i have no experience with this ) i'm not a dev , you know. anyways, the you can get data connection working easily on any dorimanx kernel just by flashing the clk tytung kernel, and then flashing dorimanx.

I liked this theme but i prefer to improve it even more (like battery percentage) and icons are not my taste but still a great theme.
Look very good! I'm gonna download it in a bit and give it a go - but what about the sd-ext partition on EU HD2? Is it necessary to have one - and without it, what's the remaining system partitions memory at? 70-80mb or so?

does this MIUI ICS rom also have the problem where you are playing music and try to wake up the screen it hot reboots. i have experienced this problem in a couple of MIUI ICS roms so was wondering before I give this one a go.

Mate I would, follow the guides and read. I've had 3 htc phones and its really simple as long as you read. Unlock your phone to better possibilities HTC dev explains step by step what to do

Good battery life (from what I can see so far!), just make sure you're at 100% battery when you flash it!
The size is due to the fact that it is multi-device supported! Just flash it and then you can delete the original zip to free up space! Enjoy
if its Sense 3.5 is it fast enough for our Phone ?

Yeah, that's only if you choose the modified Sense 4 version! You get that option when installing with 4EXT

there's an apk inside the zip file, install it do not ty to flash it through recovery
1. How much RAM is free after booting?
2. Overclockable kernel? If yes - can be O/C'd to 1.8 GHz? If no - is there a method to add O/C to this ROM?

First of all, thank you for all of your hard work! I installed this and my friend loves it on his glacier.
Just wondering, is there a way to install the customized rosie nav bars on another sense 3.5?
ok i have been using this rom almost the whole day now, and i am very disappointed in the performance.
Free RAM 69MB (mostly)
SMS opening takes LONG
Dialer Opening takes LONG
and basically these are the two most important functions of the phone which are disturbingly slow.
Most importantly, my fiance is angry because aparently she texted me some stuff which my cell phone didnt receive. So I am guessing, yes texts went missing too.
No offence to the developers, I appreciate their work and i really wish to use it but once the issues have been resolved

Per Request Of Amirage, I ve made a new Rom based on his nandroid backup... Firmware 3.16.415.4
Rom is plain stock, not compatibility with Lapotia ModPack Yet. Also Kernel is stock. As he was facing wifi drops/bugs, now we have another base to play with. If This base is better comparing to Bases 3.17 and 3.18 ,then we can do more!!!

Remember its base 3.16, stock, no mods cause you get booploop, i have to add them manually, not flashing. It was a request. Arabic base rom but full languages also system lang. And its big cause aroma options, as in v 9. No apm and so on

Remember not to flash mods, aroma is safe. Also aroma mods. Any doubt,I m here. Also nandroid first, thanks mate:thumbup:

Yes, flashing lapotia mods will bring bootloop, but if you want to try, u r free to get it.
In aroma everything is ok, but when theming apm, you will theme stock HTC apm.

I have installed it now and its working good so far but I ddnt get my launcher for some reason, im gonna try reinstalling again and wifi works perfect in it, so awesome.
ok so it works now just leave apm as is and dnt touch dat, the wifi is working perfect so fast, i used sense 5 stuff on it to. Working good here mate.

nope not lyapotas mods i was told not to so im just sticking with it without that but i do have sense 5 common rescources it is in the aroma just make sure u leave apm as it is and it will work fine.

Hi to All, will say it again just in case... The main idea of this rom is the wifi bug/drops in new base 3.18. The rom was made to see if those user with wifi bug can test and state if here its gone.
If wifi bug is goner, thene i go ahead with mods. I can add apm and mods or trying but as you may see, we are short of time because all SkyDragon projects, so once we are sure wifi bug is not present in this rom, we add more mods.
Anyway, once i have a space, i will add APM at least and toogles, i mean hassan mod and sound mod adn batt%, but first want feedback about wifi.
As we added aroma, you have the possibility as it was stated above to theme batt mod, htc stock power buttons, icons and more.. Cheers and thank for helping

wifi is super perfect for me way better dan 3.17 and 8 were givin gme problems
wifi should be way better because also if you are going to an older base wifi doesn't get bad....therefore wifi will be better in every other base then 3.17/3.18
