A question of dumping my rom for not voiding my warrenty

I own HTC diamond from my carrier - Orange.
Its 1.93 rom.
I really wish to upgrade the rom, try different new roms for making the device faster and cleaner from things I dont use or need.
I read threads regarding dumping the rom and I understand that its possible.
Now after that, for upgrading to another rom I need to upgrade the hspl too.
This procedure voids the warrenty as well? Is it possible to dump that files also?
I dont want to void the warrenty.
I wanna be sure its possible to dump all the files I need in order to restore them for having my warrenty when I'll need that
I really appreciate the help.
ok for now....
im not a very experienced user also.. but what i know is... every provider has its own varrinty rules... for some any change in rom hspl or anything else is a broken rule and you loose it... for others it is just the problem that is interristing ... means.. if you have to use your varrinty because you speaker is broken or microphone.... you still have the rights becuase it is not caused by the rom..
as long you can turn you phone into bootloader mode you can change everything back to normal... as far as i know
But is it possible to take all the needed files from my specific device and not downloading it from the wiki's threads of roms?
In that case, What is needed for completely restoring *everything* back to normal?
Thanks again

You will find information here about dumping your OS (by pof) and Splash screen (search my Rogers Canada dumped ROM thread for info).
There are already threads where you can download the Radio and SPL that matches your device's version (so you don't need to back those up).
When you want to restore everything back, do so in this order:
- Flash back the stock Radio
- Flash back the stock Splash Screen
- Flash back the stock OS (ROM)
- Finally, use the SSPL method to flash back the original stock SPL.
You'll be back to factory state.
Thanks, another small, last two questions

Thanks for the comment.
I used the information I found in the thread you told me about, for backing up my splash screen.
About the details in the device information,
-ExtROM is included in the rom backup?
-What is Protocol version?
About the radio, is it built-in inside the rom? When I flash to another rom does it change?
Some threads I found here saying Yes, and some saying No..
Can the radio or stock spl can be customized by the cellular operator? Or Theres no need to bother breaking my head how to back up those two as well?
And last thing is about the files I have now, .raw and .nb, How can I check and see they are all fine, that I backed up right..to check if they're not corrupted?
Is there a way for that?
By doing all that I could actually save my warrenty for future purpose?

[Q] What to backup before flashing CM10?

Just got an S3 and I absolutely hate the unpolished and laggy Samsung skinning of Android. I want to flash CM10, but would like to know what I should back up first in case some critical information gets lost. This is a virgin phone, no apps or user data need to be backed so no need to worry about that. However, I would like to know how to back up IMEI, device ID, etc. Is it enough just to back up the /efs partition? If not, what else should I be backing up?
Thanks in advance

Read this and this.
It was pretty overwhelming for me at first, but get through it best you can.
It's easier to do the preventative backup rather than the post repair.

Thank you! I've got experience flashing custom kernels and ROMs, so I should be ok. The only thing is that with every phone model what you need to back up is different, so I wanted to make sure I had the right stuff backed up from my stock S3 before I did anything to it.
So is an IMEI back up via QPST the only thing needed? What about device ID, and other details? Do those need to be backed up and how?

As long as your IMEI is backed up you should be OK. When I first flashed CM10 I made a Nandroid and backed up my IMEI. I have not had any issues with my IMEI or anything but I know people that have.

Just so I'm clear, you:
1) Flashed CWM recovery
2) Did a Nandroid backup of the stock ROM and backed up IMEI
3) Flashed CM10
Right?

Ever since i got my s3 never had to do anything do the IMEI... If you like wasting time i guess you can.. but if your smart with your phone you wont have to consider that extra step.. MAKE SURE U FLASH SGH-I747 roms only!!! and i mean ONLY... (tmo roms work too just make sure you change the apn settings) dont flash any other variants because they have different hardware. you will **** up the bootloader by flashing anyother variant.. Anyway back to the subject. I backup nandroid, then i use ultimate backup (like titanium backup just faster) its by jrummmy and thats it and im good to go to flash custom roms

No Offense Amzi,
but I only flashed STOCK OTA rom upgrades and some mods SPECIFIC to my i747m and I lost my IMEI a few months ago. I have tons of Android Flashing experience, and I did a lot of reading before I did my first S3 flash. My heart sank when it happened. When it happens, you lose your data connection and that's what tipped me off. And from all I have read up till now...no one knows why it RANDOMLY happens. So I would HIGHLY ADVISE to backup those files as per the link(s) I provided.

[Q] Full stock backup and restore

Hi!
Can i do a full backup my stock HOX? Maybe later if i need to use the warranty.
Can i restore the stock firmware and locked bootloader, so will be still warranty again?
How can i do this? Unfortunately, i can't find the answer for these questions.
You can do a nandroid backup to restore stock Rom ....but you can't show bootloader as locked...if you want to relock it it will show relocked....if you want warranty ...you could hard brick the phone...by flashing a kernel for another phone ...so theyll have to change the motherboard for free,or they will give you a new one...
Thank you for your fast answer!
But they can't see any log file in the HTC warranty service? The motherboard will completely breaks down?
I'm not really sure ...but I read that other people did that
