[Q] Requesting Help: Rooting Nexus 7 (2013) LTE

Hey guys, I've tried looking for help and read as much as I could. Is there a way I can have my Nexus 7 (2013) LTE rooted? Seems like http://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ doesn't have the file for my device.
If anyone has it as well, and managed to have it rooted, I would greatly appreciate any help and guidance for rooting my Nexus 7.
Thank you!

Try out Wug Fresh Nexus Root Kit.
Its simple n easy.
http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
I meant to say for Lollipop 5.0.1. If it was 4.4.4, I would've used it easily (which I eventually tried, but failed either way.).
Thank you for your responses anyway. Much appreciated.

Hello,
When I started rooting early I used an app called framaroot, its downloadable on the net,and it's a pretty easy app to use.
The good side is that it will tell you if you can root or not,so no bricking problems that I am aware of,download the latest version, and install one of them(when you open the app you will see options)they are named something like frodo, argneir etc,it installs superSU as well, which is good for rooted devices,if the instructions were unclear check a walkthrough to framaroot, hope this helped
Good luck!!

*Help* Looking for someone to guide me.

I have straight talk (at&t sim), and I recently purchased the unlocked Pixel 2 XL 64 GB from the google store, and it will be delivered Tuesday, Jan 2. I've been studying the forums to be prepared to go to work on the pixel once I receive it. I need to unlock the hot spot function, and that is my sole purpose for being on here. I've read a few tutorials, but it all seems like a different language to me. I rooted and flashed my Galaxy note 2 with a custom rom years ago, and so it has been a while since I've even rooted a phone. I am completely lost with what is going on now present day. I really hate to brick a brand new phone, so I'm nervous about using the posted guides. Its not that I cant follow the instructions, I just don't like doing something when I don't even understand the terminology. Anyone willing to work one on one with me in a couple days?
Can definetly help with rooting and unlocking bootloader no prob just quote me
Cheers ?
Sent from my Google Pixel 2 XL using XDA Labs
It's a module in Magisk. I installed the tether zip and have been using as a hotspot for my tablet.

Sure, welcome! I found this in the GUIDE section. It appears to be a very well written, step-by-step GUIDE: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-2-xl/how-to/guide-unlock-flash-root-pixel-2-xl-t3702418 Read and work your way through it and if you get stuck, ask right there in the GUIDE thread. Good luck. :good:

Pixel 3XL root tutoriatol andriod 10

Hi all, I have finally be able to get my hands on a non Verizon unlocked pixel 3xl and there seems to be a ton of information on the site for rooting the pixel; but I am feeling the overload. Could someone please point me to a post on the steps to root the pixel. I have seen several old posts and new and some make sense, some don't, and most are for prior versions of Android.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

update twrp and android for an old install

I've just found my trusty old Nexus 7 , and want to bring it up to date.
Whats the best method to get from TWRP 2.8.7.1 and Android 6 to something that'll run Android 10 ?
Can I do that in 1 go, or do I need to do multiple upgrades ?
any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, 1-go works, better yet, "1-click" is possible with CROSS.
