anybody pls help me I can use the volume down button, i already do factory reset but it's not work, also i try to change rom to many rom already and i still not work. Anybody know how to fix it pls give some advise to me. Thx
Hi all, im new to this forum, ive searched for solution but couldnt find it...
I have htc desire pvt1 ht05 (i cant remember rest) and its S-On. Before in it was Official RUU 3.14 Desire Gingerbread, but even when i unlocked sim using desire unlock v 0.9.5 and v0.9.4, it sometimes registered on network but sometimes not, and i decided to go with stock RUU,
I downloaded RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.29.405.5_Radio_32.49.00.32U_5.11.05.27_release_159811_signed.exe
phone booted up normaly, i did some set up, and turn it off to put sim card in it.
Now it wont boot up at all, i tried pulling batery out and in, pressing vol down + power, nothing, i tried pressing back button +power and still nothing, only reaction i get from phone is orange led when conected, and if battery is not inside i got green-orange flashing light...
Is there any way to get into bootloader so i can flash other rom, coz right now laptop doesnt recognise any devices connected, or did i screw up and its hardware failure?

So i just replaced my digitizer(touch panel) since it broke a while back. anyways i turn it on only power light works.
Then i tried the Hboot
volume down+power
i get the screen to work, so basically looks like my hardware is ok
Then i did recovery and all other options in the Hboot screen, nothing works
I also get this weird error(attached picture)
Does this mean my software is ****ed? If not, then how do i restore it?
If yes, how can i reinstall the stock/default htc software for the HTC DESIRE
And If the stock/default software is not possible either, what are my options?
Thank please help, I'm very new to this forum. Explain in layman terms.

I need some serious help:angel:
my htc desire 816 stuck at boot screen(htc screen), I already try to restart with press power button+vol up. But it didn't work.
My device back to stuck at boot screen again.
2 days ago I got notification from HTC on my device for update software.
I follow the instructions, download then install. success.
Now, this morning. Just wake up and found my device hang at boot screen.
I create new thread coz I can't find this situation in this forum yet.
Please anyone kindly help my situation.

then I charge until 6 hour. and now my phone totally dead.

SOrry to know about your loss. Is your phone unlocked and rooted by any chance? If so then there are some alternatives. If not, it is much better to check with HTC support so that they will get you fresh installation if it is still under warranty. All the best.

I experienced it when I freeze user interface of HTC. It is HTC blink. When I defrost is my phone started.
To do this, I first removed SIM and microsd and re-plug them. Then from settings panel at the right top, I found Rom Toolbox and defrosted apps.
How did u resolve it?

hey, check for RUU for your varient. If available flash stock RUU.
Android 5.0 is very different than 4.4, I suggest you to perform a factory reset on your phone from hboot.
Press power + vol down buttons to enter in hboot
Same problem. Phone has boot loop and not enter to fastboot.
When reconnect battery, phone go to boot loop and nothing.
Try Press power + vol down buttons, but nothing. Has solutions? Or hardware problem?
My htc desire 816 is rooted and it powered off and got stuck on android is upgrading screen

Got it solved by pressing POWER + VOLUME UP for about 20 secs, after it vibrates and light gets brighter and it will start. Before I also removed SIM and SD cards and plug them back in.
guys I had same experience mine. here is what I did. I opened the back cover, disconnects the battery and connected it back my phone came back but I discovered that the battery stoped charging but phone is working well. don't know why the battery stoped charging

bro please help..my bootloader is unlockes...i was trying to root my phone using cwm recovery and super su zip...after flashing zip my phone stuck at boot screen...please help!!

Hallo everyone!
my old HTC Desire (Bravo) seems to be bricked. When I turn on the device, it appears the HTC Logo, then the screen turns only black. I have been trying to remove the battery for some minutes and put it on again, trying to go in the recovery mode (vol down and power on togheder for 10 seconds) but it doesn't work, it just shows the HTC Logo and then black screen.
The device is rooted, if I remeber correctly there's a Cyanogen Mod installed.
There's anything that I can do, or he's dead? :crying:

If you don't have any crucial data on the phone, I would try and find the 2.3.3 WWE RUU to flash, research the PB99IMG.zip method.

Thanks, I have been looking at the stickied thread only right now, but I'm afraid that I don't know how to categorize my HTC Desire problem.
I have no important data on the Phone, and I can reset everything without problems. I have been trying PB99IMG Method , I could install the PB99IMG.zip in the SD Card without problems, but as before, the volume down and power button togheder doesn't work, it just show the HTC Logo and the black screen, so I can't get access to the fastboot/recovery mode
Bump, any idea?
