Kernel messes with notifications? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4

Not sure if it's the kernel that messes with notifications or not
But i've installed the deviant kernel and ktoonez kernel.
I remember on the stock kernel, i would get snapchat notifications but now I'm not getting them and just remember I flashed a kernel right before it started happening!
Is there a setting I need to change, or can I go back to the stock kernel?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app

I have read somewhere in the threads people having a problem with snapchat. I would just flash stock kernel and see if it fixes it...

I also might have a problem with this, though im running P.A.C rom with ktoonz kernel. Anyone else running an aosp rom and using his kernel feel like notifications arent going through?

Well that is the problem, there is no stock kernel zip you can just flash( at least none that I can find for the M919 ).
Only way would be to flash stock firmware via Odin 3.07

You would need a rom for phone bro. This kernel alone wont do it for you. My guess is the USA notes have a different layout. There is a high chance you flashed a file or files to the wrong place

I missed Halo so much. What version is this; 2.0? Halo should be sucked into AOSP by google.

Seriously though, thanks for the rock-solid BeanStalky 4.4 experience... Battery life is phenomenal so far; almost 14 hours of bluetooth, GPS, and music and I still have 60% left.
Thread cleaned... Keep trolls at bay, report them immediately and do not reply, that only feeds them.

It's definitely 4.4, which would in fact be CM11; just a relic from the copy/paste from the 4.3 thread I guess.

Did you manually make any changes to improve battery life? I had absolutely insane battery life in Beanstalk 4.2.2 and 4.3 but it's not very good for me now on 4.4. I've always used Greenify to hibernate apps but nothing else. Any help is appreciated!
