X11 on Nexus 10 - Ubuntu Touch Development and Hacking

Hello. Somebody modified a kernel for Galaxy Nexus, so users can install and use X11 and different desktop enviroment. Can somebody modify a kernel for Nexus 10?

X11 is not in kernel. And I don't think anyone is interested in that kind of work, unfortunately. It's surfaceflinger or Mir, basically.

Is USB fastcharge supported in CM10?

If yes how to enable disable it? Any widget maybe?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
Not supported in CM10's kernel.
You can download a kernel that supports usb fast charge and use a widget like fastcharge widget.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.incredicontrol.fastchargewidget&hl=en
Or if you don't want to pay, there is a free app which is app supported, but you lose the widget.

Thanks.
Just installed the franco kernel. It suports fast charge. Now I need a widget.

Just so the viewers know, Codename Android supports this natively.

To be correct: not Codename Android (CNA) but the kernel CNA uses, which is Faux123

It depends on the user. But the most mods I've found were in xenondHD, paranoidandroid and aokp

I've tried almost every ToroPlus rom and always go back to CNA 3.8.0
While roms such as Eclipse, Black Bean, Cm10, Paranoid Android, etc possess cool features and good performance, CNA seems to be the only one to put everything together.

I like sourcery based off of aosp and there is plenty of customizations for you to choose from. You can change everything you want about it and it doesn't bog down the performance. I use trinity kernel with it or ada kernel.

Thank u all... now am using xenon hd very good thanks for the update

For customization, NO DOUBT, Sourcery is the most customizable FROM THE ROM. This meaning minimal additional downloads/flashes, most customizations are available in the ROM.
That being said, I had kept going back to XenonHD, due to reliability. I have recently switched over to BAMF Paradigm, and am equally impressed by the reliability and performance.

MIUI 5 for galaxy grand?

Can we get miui5 for 4.2.2 on grand?
Sent from my GT-I9082 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I highly doubt if anyone will develops it. because there are so many roms based on 4.4.2. And the poll voting suggests that we might get Ubuntu touch in upcoming months.
So... Little patience will be good..
