Why is this ROM "taking CyanogenMod to the next level?
CyanogenMod does not want to include many customizations like they did in cm7
But why not? We want to customize our phones!
This ROM adds more options and cherries to CyanogenMod, cherry picked from the CM gerrit, Google gerrit, AOKP gerrit, SGT7, TeamEOS, TeamBAKED, Slim ROM, root - box and ParanoidAndroid
Basically this is one big mixture of all the great ROMs out here!
Stock but still highly customizable the way we like it
Instructions:
Download all the needed files (ROM, Gapps)
Boot into recovery
Flash the ROM.zip
Flash Gapps
Boot without flashing a custom kernel (after you've setup everything you can safely install a custom kernel)

Not booting on my manta unfortunately. Stuck at the Google splash screen and adb logcat just says waiting for device. I've got 7e4ee759b19ce6ac16885581db964dbc for a md5sum--that look right?
Any "build optimizations" like Linaro in this ROM. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of speed over a ton of customizations, but I'm willing to try it.

Also, with 4.3 out today, that's the only thing people are focused on at the moment.

Don't be a downer just because you have one of the fastest ROMs out there
Seriously though, I am interested, never had "memory leaks" or "SoD's" so I can wait until they root the OTA. Don't want a hacked boot loader I want to start with the real thing.

Yeah, I agree. I'm not rushing to upgrade to 4.3 either, since I too haven't had any of the problems with 4.2.2 ROMs that many report.

hi guys,
I have build an AOSP JB rom and i want share my idea and my work for some reasons explained below.
Please do not criticize my work because this rom is work in progress and is only a beta.
I need to fix some problem and i share the rom to request some help from other users.
Why this rom?
I noticed that all the changes made to the stock ROM Jelly Bean lead nowhere.
Google has done an excellent job with this version of Android.
In my opinion there is no ROM or kernel is better than stock.
So I tried to work on aspects of the building process. I have tried to compile as the best possible and I think I did a very good job.
The ROM is very very fast and fluid. The boot time is really small and the battery life is good.
I tried many ROMs but in none of these I found the same performance and battery life ... 2000 despite the tweaks added by dev
Who want this rom?
Anyone who wants a clean rom and performing and agree with me that Jelly Bean is perfect with no tweaking. Anyone who wants to help me fix the last problems.
What does not work
The only thing that works is the gallery: does not always see the images already on the sd.
The color camera has a little bit strange colors but it works.
I need help to fix these things and have a fully working rom

To be honest, this really isn't ParanoidAndroid, AOKP, or CyanogenMod anymore. When you put them all together you have something totally new. With this ROM you can do interesting things like having new rows of toggles and many other things that you'll have to find on your own. However keep in mind that on some occasions different settings can cause conflicts with others considering they're not supposed to be together in the first place, so just be smart about what you do. Before I continue I want to thank the CyanogenMod Team, AOKP Team, ParanoidAndroid Team, and szl.kiev who provided me with the merged frameworks and settings that I tweaked to solve some layout issues and conflicts. Not sure you can always back up and try. Maybe leave one neutral and change one at a time? Combining might bootloop

Here I present my first rom for LGG2 D802 FrozenDark first project for this terminal, he tried to update the rom with new additions at least once a week but I can not guarantee anything..

What is FrozenDark Project?
Basically DarkSideTeam team is trying to develop a Cyanogenmod based rom and adding more things from other databases to try to improve even more and as far as possible what Cyanogenmod offers.
The base will be shared by github so everyone can compile and work on it if you want.
If someone wants to contribute their knowledge and help open doors and will only need to contact me by private in this forum.

If you can get the sources of the stock versions if you could add, but otherwise also would be a difficult job.

About Android Open Kang Project
Device: jflteatt (Samsung Galaxy S4 AT&T)
WHAT THIS IS: A ROM(jfltetmo) directly from AOKP with no additions. Since Team Kang hasn't added the SGH-I337 (AT&T Galaxy S4) as a supported device there is no ROM for it. This ROM is unofficial which means I had to re-configure the build.prop, updater-script and Loki'd it for use on MDL- devices. If you use SafeStrap then this ROM will not work for you. YOU assume all liability. Now onto the goods
Make sure you're using the Latest CWM or TWRP & Backup
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Flash ROM
Flash GApps

Haven't had a chance to install yet but I'm sure it is great as always. Thank you
Definitely good IMO. Runs really smooth so far. Apns for Att are there for me. WiFi is working.... Solid build. Had to update superuser binary but I've had to do it with a few roms. Thanks for bringing to us. Can't wait for the features like center clock, animations etc. I'm using Xuimod and gravity box right now with no issues so far.

Running great for me so far. Good work.
The only major issue I'm having is not being able to activate the navigation bar. Other than that, everything seems to work fine.
For us Canadians to use this rom (Bell/Telus/Rogers - 1337m) is it as simple as flashing a compatible kernel after flashing the rom?

Nightlies have a tendency to break at random times. Nightly = experimental. They are not tested by us (or the AOKP team), we simply build from latest source and distribute.

26 OCT Nightly still doesn't get past bootanimation ............ on a positive note though, bootanimation looks cool
I will pass along these reports to the AOKP team if anyone cares to grab logcat logs.
I was able to get it to boot on the 25th build, but had no data baseband was blank.
I see that there are 15 downloads of the 11/02/2014 build has anyone that can comment tried it out to see if it works better then the past 2 builds?
Still couldn't get past the boot animation.

So grab a logcat log of the boot loop and help instead of complaining. I don't have an S III so my hands are tied.
