Cheap aftermarket batteries have hit ebay!

Looks like the cheapo aftermarket battery manufacturers have got the Note battery reverse engineered and up for sale on ebay.

They're advertised as 2600 mAh (100 more than factory) and average about $5 apiece, with many listings including an external/wall charger for them.
I've purchased these for several phones in the past and it's hard to beat the value. They're waaay cheaper than authentic batteries, and my experience has been that they have nearly the same capacity as factory, though they don't last for as many charges. Still good for several months though. However, the last one I got for my GSII wouldn't charge when in the phone. If I plugged the charger into the GSII while one of those cheapo batteries was in it, it made a weird sound and the phone rebooted; it wouldn't charge.
I'm going to go ahead and purchase one of these listings and I'll update this thread with my experiences. If anyone else gets one before me, please post here which one you got and whether or not it'll charge while in the phone.

Actually, I just tested one today. I bought some of the batteries with a charger from one of the Chinese sellers and those are still on the way, but I bought another one from a US seller so I wouldn't have to wait. That one arrived yesterday, I charged it last night by holding it into an external charger with a rubber band, and put it in the phone today.
It's difficult to tell how it performed since my usage today wasn't that typical, but I'd say it probably had a capacity of 70%-80% of the stock battery. It lasted ~16 hrs with fairly heavy usage in the morning, followed by light usage in the afternoon, then a few hours in my friend's metal-walled shop, which usually rapidly eats batteries due to searching for signal.
I felt like I could notice the battery draining faster than the stock one normally does, but I'm hoping the capacity will go up with some charge/discharge cycles. This was the first charge and discharge. Regardless, I could definitely live with %75 capacity considering the price.
This battery is one of the black ones with white label. Not very scientific, but I only noticed 2 styles in all of the cheapo sellers' pics, and the other one is white. Those are the ones I have on the way.

If it's really giving you 70-80 in the first charge it may get as good as 80-85% of the stock one after five or six charging cycles ,and that ,for the ridiculous price you paid i say its a damn good deal.
Please review the white ones once you have them and thanks for the info.

No doubt they will, after all, the measures are standart so if the battery is made to fit inside the note it will fit in the slot of the charger.

Best value all in all, is the 3 batteries+wall charger pack, which I bought for the equivalent of little less than 10eur, before even buying the phone to save on the shipping time, but they are stll on their way.
Same kind of pack was glorious on my HD2, and the OEM's after a couple years last about half of the original battery (on android which has the suckiest battery management, got up to 4days with either original and OEM on Wm6.5), but oh well.

Just got some of these chinese batteries, the quality is horrendous, to the point I'm scared to use them.
You can actually tell that they have used a slightly small battery and put spacers in to bulk it out to fit the note!

I've had some time with both white and black batteries now. They're definitely not as good as the OEM. The white seem like it might be a little worse than the black, but that might be just my imagination.
My first guess was that the capacity of the black one was maybe 70%-80% that of the OEM, but that was a rough guess. Someone in another thread speculated that they're taking other batteries and just repackaging them to fit into the Note. I made a spacer for using my GSII battery in my Note (thread here on it), and the performance of these aftermarket batteries is kind of similar to when I was using the GSII battery but maybe a little better. The GSII battery is 1650 mAh, which is 66% of the Note's OEM battery.
In the past when I got cheap knock-off batteries for other phones, they usually performed a little less than OEM but not that much. They didn't last for as many cycles, though. I may build a capacity testing circuit soon and get some actual numbers...
Still, for $5 it's worth keeping one in your back pocket when going out for awhile, or taking 2 or 3 charged ones with you on a weekend trip so you don't have to carry your charger and search for outlets.

Regarding the ridiculous times to charge it, it is because the ultra cheap chargers they send are 250-300 miliamp output (probably less in reality)
I use a universal battery charger that gives me 1 amp output so the battery is fully charged in about two and a half hours (a little less because the battery is probably 2100 or 2200 miliamps instead of 2500)

In another post someone suggested weighing their ebay batteries to determine if they were OEMs or not, I weighed mine. Results:
OEM: 49.35 grams
white cheapo: 45.1 g (91% of OEM)
black cheapo: 39.2 g (79% of OEM)
Clearly they're not going to perform as well as the OEM with less stuff in there, though I wouldn't necessarily equate the % weight difference to % capacity difference. But Samsung wouldn't be adding extra weight to the phone for no reason.

Where can I buy universal battery charger that gives 1 amp ?

I just got 28 hrs moderate use out of one of the white ones.
I've installed Battery Monitor Widget Pro and I'm going to cycle through the OEM battery and one of the white ones for several cycles, letting some statistics build up, then in a week or so I'll post the results.

I bought mine a year ago in amazon. Brand and model, Ansmann digicharger vario pro. (Be careful, there is another version that is not the pro that only gives 500 miliamp output)
The good thing is that is one accessory you can still use when you change your phone in the future

QI Charger/Power Bank

I wanted to get QI charger w/ my Nexus and ended up getting one that included a 10,000 mAh powerbank for basically the same price.
I thought it was going to feel pretty cheap, but to my surprise it seems like its pretty good quality. For 40 bucks for both a QI and a power bank in one it's pretty kick arse! So be forewarned the "IN STOCK" status is BS it ships from China so don't expect within a week; I think I got mine in 3 weeks.
Also the instructions are horrendous, not sure who translated it but its actually comedy. I think says something like... "Use it if it bulges, smells or smokes." (instead of dont) and has FAQ's that have no questions. Literally every line in the instructions does not make sense.
So you can use this as a normal QI charger. As a powerbank you can use QI or plug it in through the USB ports (2) which makes more sense so you dont have 30% power loss as with QI. Powerbank is same shape as phone just about twice as thick and slightly larger width and length. Finished material is smooth so if you have a hard plastic case it may easily slide off or not become centered well enough to charge. I have a case no issues charging through the case. It does also get a full charge and it does not get my phone more than warm (same as wall charger).

I'd be very interested in a test to see what the actual capacity of this is. Im always wary with a no name brand battery from China because they tend to always overstate their battery capacities. Wish there were some reviews, but I might give it a go anyway to test it out myself.

Its weird how almost all of the qi power banks on amazon have no reviews. Seems like something everyone should have. Ridiculously useful. I am wondering why the one posted above is a good 25% cheaper than all the others of the same 10,000 mah capacity though.
Would absolutely love for the OP to test how many full charges of the Nexus 5 he could get from the device using USB and then Wireless charging, but that would probably take a while. Also OP, when you say that the case is smooth, is it smooth like the soft touch plastic on the back of the Nexus 5 or smooth like the shiny plastic on galaxy phones?

I'm waiting for RavPower Qi Wireless Charging Pad with a built-in 4800mAh battery coming back in stock. It seems like a great fit with my Nexus 5 as I checked a review from WPCentral.

no problem but may be a few days I'm getting over a day cycle on my nexus so far. I bought it mostly for the QI charger the bank was a bonus/ I will keep a log but try and get full cycles out of it to make it easier.
As far as the smoothness it is more like the shiny plastic on the galaxy phones. My phone has a plastic case it doesn't slide to much but I could see if it got bumped it would move. I had bought a screen protector someone posted that i don't like it's kind of rubbery or tacky feel i was thinking about taking it off and putting it on the charger so it was a little more "grippy".
Give me a few days I'll put up some stats for you

Oh I know, but the ones sold under the badge of Samsung or LG are usually dead on their mah capacity ratings. Not so much for random Chinese brands I havent heard of before.

Amazons having a 50% off deal on battery packs if you buy the RAVpower qi charger. I just picked up the charger and a RAV 8400mAh pack for just over 60 bucks. I've been wanting both for a while now and this deal was just to good to pass up. I do a lot of backpacking and have been debating between a battery pack vs. a solar charger for some time now as well. The pack is actually lighter than any of the solar charges I was looking at. And for 18 bucks was a no brainer.

so here are some stats on this as a power bank not sure how much power loss over a few days is normal but after a full charge of the bank using the cable here is what I came up with:
night one charger started at 51% .49 of the full 2300 mAh nexus 5 battery = 1127 mAh
night two started at 18% .82 = 1886
night three started at 22% .78 = 1794
night four started at 28% .72 = 1656
night five started at 9% died at 32% = 529

TOTAL mAh= 6992

Interesting. And that is using the cable and not the Qi wireless charging? Its always said that Qi will have around a 30% loss in efficiency, which would make your numbers perfectly in line with what a 10,000 mah battery should do. Of course if you were using a cable it might just be that the low cost of the device translates to a less efficient transfer of energy. Still able to get roughly 3 full charges out of the power bank is pretty awesome.

Yea thats through the cable, I know even turned off there is power loss on rechargeable batteries but I don't know what is normal power degradation equates to in a percentage. I agree though roughly 3 full charges may not be a full 10,000 mAh bank, but at the price even if it equates to a 7000 bank its not bad. Throw in the QI (which is mainly what I bought this for anyway) and this is pretty sweet deal :laugh:
I'll do it again and see what I come up with for round 2

it does shut off once it gets a full charge, using the cable as a powerbank. Never tried QI as a bank doesn't make sense so don't know this way.

REVIEW: HTC One battery case - Mugen Power 3,000 mAh black battery case - CC-HTCONESL

I originally posted this on another forum, but i thought i would post it here too. I have had great success with this companies products for all of my HTC Phones. I have used their products in both my Tmobile G2 and HTC Evo 3d and now since they don't offer an internal battery for the HTC One i had to try the case.
This is my review of the Mugen Power 3,000 mAh battery case. The model number is CC-HTCONESL. This case is the smaller one in their lineup at 3,000 mAh they also have 5,000 mAh case and each version comes in either white or black.
I have been using this case myself since Nov 5th now and i have been extensively putting it through performance tests making sure it has repeatable and reliable performance. So far it has been great, but more on the performance details later.
Here are some pictures of the case itself. You can see the writing on the inside of the case which shows the input and output amperage of the case. It will take longer to charge on a power source of less than 1 amp of output, but works fine if that is all you have.

Here you can see the packaging card and the back of the case with the 4 blue led indicators as well as the button to check the state of charge. The case has perfect cut outs for the camera and flash, as well as one for the upper microphone. Call quality appears normal with the case in use.
Here is the other side of the packaging card with the information on it.
The case simply charges with the same charger you use to charge your HTC smartphone with a micro usb port. You can even leave the case plugged into your phone and charge the case and phone with 1 charger. The case will first charge your phone fully, then charge the case. If you have two chargers, you can simultaneously charge the case and phone if your are short on time.
The case features features 4 blue LED lights for checking the state of charge of the build in Li-Polymer battery pack. It has a red led light near the micro usb port indicating the case is charging and the light will turn green when the case is full.
The case is very simple, you lay your phone into the case and gently press it into place. The phone is charged through a hidden micro usb port that lines up with the phone. The wire and micro usb tip will tuck back into the shell of the case with only the end sticking out for easy retrieval. The wire extends approximately 1 inch from the case. Bonus, you could use this case to charge any micro usb device in an emergency!
You can see a picture of the side of the case with the phone installed. The HTC One is very slim on its own so most all of the extra thickness comes from the case itself, which is not too bad. It still slides into my pocket easier and now is easier to hold because it has more weight to it. I found myself always feeling like i was going to drop the phone without a case due to the light weight and skinny form factor.
I don't have any calipers handy for a precise measurement, but i noticed the case was just a little slimmer than a US nickel. A nickel is 0.835 inches in diameter so i would estimate the total thickness of the case with the phone install at about 0.8 inches.

Here is a shot of the side of the phone with the case installed. After i looked at the picture i just took, i noticed the phone was not pushed all the way into the case but it still holds firmly even if not pressed fully. I have attempted to hold the case and shake it as hard as i could and the phone will not dislodge, but dropping the phone could certainly cause that.

PERFORMANCE!!
Okay now my favorite part the performance side of the case. This was by far the biggest reason i got the case. You can say what you want about the looks of the case, or how it leaves the front of the phone unprotected, but performance is what its all about.
I tested the case many different ways but to eliminate some variables the way i typically charged the case was to put the phone into air plane mode after reaching near 0% and let it do its thing. I have the Battery Bot Pro app installed on my phone which is very handy.
The first shot you will see is a screenshot from my device after charging with the case for just under an hour (57 minutes) The case is able to charge the device up to 40% in this short time. You can see the phone thinks its getting an "AC" charge even though this is a DC source, this is a good indication that the device is delivering the indicted 1 amp of charge rate.
I left the phone alone awhile longer and came back to it at 68% after 1 hour and 42 minutes of charging.
The last shot is of the case fully depleted from a full charge. It was able to charge my device from 2% all the way up to 87% in only 2.4 hours! The voltage on the battery ended over 4.20v, while a full charge on this device is closer to 4.35v.
I am very happy with the performance of the case. I have been using it daily since Nov 5th and It was able to repeatedly charge my phone from near 0% all the way up to 85-88% over and over again. Even though this is a 3,000 mAh capacity battery in the case you are going to lose a lot through the electrical efficiency since its charging the same type of battery and has to step up to 5 volts. This type of efficiency is typical of battery cases and nothing abnormal here.
A more typical usage of the case would probably be to plug it before it was close to dead and unplug the port when the battery is depleted or when you have gotten enough charge to make it through the day so you can leave your port protected inside the case .
PROS: Power on the go, protection to the back and side of the phone, Uses the same charger as your phone, battery indication for state of charge, fast charge rate, leaves all the ports and opening on the phone available, makes phone easier to hold, ability to charge other micro usb devices in emergency
CONS: Leaves the front face of the phone open to damage if dropped, micro usb port is vulnerable when plugged into the phone and on the go, possibility of damage if rough
Summary: A case for true power users, who love the HTC One but can't make it through the day without needing a little extra juice! Casual users would be more suited to using a full protection case that offers front bezel protection.

Well its not as big as the larger 5,000 mAh version they make but remember your phone is no good to you dead, so having power when you need it beats comfort with a brick. The mophie juice pack looks pretty sweet, even though its rated less, i only use about half of my Mugen case to make it through my long 12 hour work day. I might get a Mophie too!

I also ordered this model in white color only. Parcel will arrive next week. To be honest, I'm disappointed! When ordered, the Mugen Power has not posted photos of the place of connection. Connect your phone so awful plug I do not like!

It's a little different i understand, but it's useful that it can be used on other devices if you needed to even though the wire is short. Hopefully you enjoy the extra run time away from the wall though.
lately with mine i have been waiting til my phone gets to about 50% and hooking up the wire and leaving it in my pocket while at work so it can get a decent charge for a hour or two and then i have enough to make it through the day.

That's basically how I use my Mophie. I wait for my One to drop to 20%, connect the Mophie, it'll boost it back up to about 85%, disconnect the Mophie, have battery life until midnight.

The One comes with a 2,300 mAh Li-Po battery which is already pretty stout compared to other phones even the stock galaxy s4 battery is only 2,600 Lithium ion, so not too far off. It's mostly the high power consumption off all the high performance hardware that's killing battery life. People who use the phones for basic things like calling/texting report pretty good battery life in powersaver mode.
I do wish the battery would last longer, but this is going to be a problem for anyone using the phone for high consumption apps.

Great review. Handy product, i.e. if you're going camping this should last atleast a weekend with moderate use

With me working 12+ hours per day I don't know how I would manage without the extra juice. I use a lot of juice just on my breaks but also weak signals or nothing signals drain it too, and if refuse to use airplane mode after I've missed important messages in the past.

I highly recommend this battery back, I got one and so did my friend. We went disappointed at all.

This is my review of the Anker Astro Slim3 6000mAh but here is another review posted by Vectron http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2388894
Hey everyone. I just wanted to give a review on my experience with the Anker Astro Slim3 6000mAh portable external battery pack. I’ve had this product for roughly 2 weeks now and can definitely say that it is the perfect companion to the N5.
As we know, our N5 doesn’t have the greatest battery life when it comes to on screen time. I found myself having to charge the battery during the middle of the afternoon only after moderate use and then at night when going to bed. I have a handful of Anker battery packs but the reason that this particular one caught my eye was its thinness and the fact that it has a built in micro usb wire/plug. Also, the fact that this thing is rated at 6000mAh was the deciding factor that made me order it.
From the photos, you can see that the Astro Slim3 is very comparable (in all aspects) in size to the N5. It is a fraction thicker than the N5 (and I do mean a very small fraction as it is only .47in), a fraction shorter than the N5 and a fraction wider. Weight wise, it is just a little heavier than the N5, but then again, the N5 is very light to begin with. The battery is incased in a plastic like enclosure which feels very good and it also is a deterrent to fingerprints.
Charging wise (using the built in micro usb cable), this battery pack was able to charge my N5 from 20% to 93% in 60 minutes and to 100% in 72 minutes. I’ve tested this 5 times to make sure this was consistent, and it was. If that isn’t impressive, I don’t know what is! It has dual ports and each port is rated at 1A each. There is no question that this battery pack is capable of high speed charging. There are 4 LEDs on the case that indicates how much juice is left in the pack and it was able to charge my phone 2.25 times before needing a charge itself.
Pricewise, it was a little more expensive than the other brands out there, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Bought it from Amazon for $38 ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CEZJT2E/ref=s9_simh_gw_p107_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=0T6WMDN41N069KZDC4BR&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1688200382&pf_rd_i=507846) but it was still worth it given the specs and convenience. If these two things are what you are looking for in a battery pack, then this product is a sure bet.

This is when it is charging. You can see the 4 LEDs indicating the battery pack has a full charge and you can also see the built in micro usb cable that comes with it
Oh, one thing that I forgot to mention was that this battery pack has 2 ways of charging your phone! One way is to use the built in/attached micro usb plug that comes with it and the other is using your own micro usb plug. The second way will definitely work if you have a case!

Very nice. I bought the Anker astro 3 (2nd gen) and always take it places with me if i think theres a chance i'll be running low on juice. This one you got looks a bit thinner (slimmer, duh, obviously) and easier to tote around, but i got the astro to have 2x the capacity and ability to charge my girlfriends S4 at the same time when needed.
Good products tho, charge the phones fast.

I have that one too! Love the fact that it has 3 usb port and it is a beast. However, it is a bit bulky so it has been relegated to my camping/family trip battery pack. This Slim3 is the perfect size to just throw in my backpack everyday for work :good:

I forgot to add this to the original post, but as a comparison in terms of charge time, using the stock charger that came with the N5, @ 60 mins charge time, the N5 was only at 70% (93% for the Anker) and @ 100% charged, the stock charger took 100 mins (72 mins for the Anker). That's a pretty big difference.

I have this sitting in my cart for Amazon and haven't pulled the trigger on it yet. Thanks for the review and photos as well! The combination of the size, capacity and built-in micro-usb port makes it ideal for the N5. I'm not sure how your battery last you a single day though!

Question for anyone that has one of these: will the attached USB cable fit in to the hub of a Nexus 5 that is housed in a case? I'm sure it differs case to case but that would be a major selling point for me. I have a Spigen Neo Hybrid FYI.
Been trying to settle on what battery pack to purchase for a while now. Thought I'd go with the LuguLake but the more I think about it, I don't know how useful wireless charging would be for me while on the go (and the lack of an auto-off function while charging has me hesitant to purchase as well).

Really? I actually find the battery life on this phone quite impressive - although I am coming from a GS3 which had absolutely **** battery life butwith N5 I still get a good 5-6 hours of screen on time with franco kernel O:

It looks very nice for carry in the pocket. I have a Romoss 6000mAh bought in Amazon and it's really good too

Should have mentioned this in my review, but that might be an issue if you have a case that doesn't have a very big opening for the micro usb plug. The end is pretty fat and so might require you to take off the case.

The slim2 version is only rated at 4500mAh and is a little smaller in size. This might be perfect for you if you don't need the 6000mAh version.

Anybody use this with their N5 in the Diztronic TPU case? Just curious because the base on that Micro USB plug looks pretty wide.

You can actually charge 2 devices at the same time with the astro slim 3. You can use the integrated cable and your own cable simultaneously to charge 2 devices.
I bought the Anker® 2nd Gen Astro 6000mAh a couple of weeks ago. It can charge a single device at a time. However, it can fast charge using 2 amps with a "smart" charging port. On the other hand, it would be great to have the use of the integrated cable. Hmm, another battery charger?

Little update on this. Went to Cheltenham on Wednesday and it kept in charge from 7am to 2am and I was utterly caning the phone. No idea how I'd have managed without. Brilliant device

I was in the market for a large capacity power bank and really liked the look of this one on Amazon. Shipping was very fast as it was fulfilled and shipped by Amazon. In this review i will go over the Features, First impressions and Final thoughts after using the power bank for some time.

First impressions:
After receiving the power bank the first thing i noticed and was pleased with was the packaging. When you buy a product you expect there to be in professional and quality packaging and they definitely did that with this power bank. After unpacking the power bank and holding it i was very pleased with the aluminum alloy construction. When researching power banks the materials used was one of the main factors for me choosing this one over some of the others on the market and im glad i did, In the hand the build quality and construction feels premium just like my HTC one and iPhone. While it is a slim unit i would not say its the lightest power bank it is after all 20,000mAh capacity which is a larger power bank . If you are interested in smaller lighter package you will also be shrinking the battery capacity so that was something i wasn't willing to compromise on. First thing i noticed during use was the digital LED capacity readout. This is a premium feature that also was a top factor for me choosing this power bank. With a quick slide of your finger across the read out screen you can see exactly the charge you have left, No more relying on the few led lights the other banks have to judge how much juice you have left. Final Thoughts:
After using the Power Bank for some time my initial opinion did not change, In fact im not sure how i lasted before without one. The quality of the unit is outstanding, Being constructed from aluminum gives it some serious durability, and looks brand new after heavy use wile camping, traveling, beach trips, and school/ work. The battery capacity is outstanding, as a power user Ive always found myself killing my phone battery far to early in the day and now i always have a charger even wile away from on outlet. Ive also found it very useful for camping trips and power outages due to the large capacity you can charge many items on one single power bank charge which is very handy in those situations. I bought 3000mAh for my Nexus 5 and both times I used it - it had problems. Once I unplugged it, within few minutes my phone went off, no buttons worked, nothing, dead. I kept pressing, holding different combos until it rebooted somehow. Never had such problems before, but both times I tried to use power pack. I did read online that other people have had similar issues by phone getting confused and shutting itself down. So - no more external packs for me

But how many times can it charge for Nexus,or other hot android phones like Samsung note 4,HTC M9,etc.?
I think charge times is a very important info. but it wasn't provided here.

Yea it is a bit on the large size but you really can't help that with the large capacity, this brand also offers smaller capacity aluminum banks. As far as times goes its depends on the USB slot you use as there different amps but its very similar to the stock charger time wise. Also all phones have different battery sizes, the n5 has a 2300mah battery so you get around 8 - 8 1/2 charges on a full power bank.

I got one and test it for capacity, it is great value for $/Ah. it cost 38$-39$ at ebay and aliexpress
the size is good, if someone need smaller size/less capacity vinsic have other models.
from the cell i learned they use high grade LiPo cell from LG , and in small ones they use Samsung 18650 cells, not some fake chinese cells...
It have real ~13500mAh (20000mAh * converter PCB Efficeincy factor ~0.67) capacity available for recharge devices.
if you want to know how many times you can recharge your gadget (phone, tablet etc...) use aproximate calculation
13500mah / your device capacity * device charging efficency 0.8 = aproximate charging times.
for example i have 2600mAh battery in my Galaxy S4 so it will be
13500 / 2600 * 0.8 = 4 full recharges. It give me freedom to use cell phone without outlet for really LONG time.
I can recomend it...

Wooow 20000mah it s awesomeee,I was looking for an enourmous one to take with me when I do some camping...From the pictures looks very well built and i like the battery indicator,wich contributes to assure you about the quality.I had 2 chinese no brand powerbank,but they looked cheap in building quality and engeneering chose, like the bicolor red green led to tell the remaining life (I don t need a red led to know it s 0%,a yellow one with the red and green led lighted up to tell me the 15 or else % could be a better use of bicolour led ) or the stupid second one with an uv led that was meant to tell battery % ,but likes was written in manual to tell if you have a fake banknote or not (ahhahh how stupid is that???).
I want one, they produce even other power banks looking from they re site,the wood one is looking awesome, and other accessories ,all looking goods and not resembling to other brands. So they could be a serious brand . I got one after looking into it and I'm so happy I did .I've a pile of packs .most 1200. Needed a bigger one and I'm impressed with the quality and it's storage once it's been cycled a few times. I used a one amp charger as it's all I had but bought a two amp which it needs .buy one they are superb. It's like an Apple accessorie with the aluminum unibody design. Gives no neat charging or discharging. Get a kindle case to keep it like new

I keep mine in my computer bag while traveling so it serves the purpose the way I was hoping.

Now that I own a nexus 6 this looks like next purchase

I want this one but it seems so big, I guess I'll just have to get it and try it out.
