Hi Everybody. I have 8s and I dead it while I was trying to add a language pack(Turkish). Phone had German, French, English and Italian languages when I bought. I tried a method with downloaded RUU files. Someone wrote me and I renamed RUU_signed.nbh, UEFI_signed.nbh files to RIOUDIAG.nbh... And flashed them with Pressing Volume -, Camera button, Power button. When I did this phone is dead. No screen, No sound, No any light.. When I pressing Volume-, power button etc. only feel a vibration and then nothing. Only want to ask that What Happened? and What I can do? Thank you everyone...

well after trying the 10th time to upgrade/downgrade - I need your assistance. For the Blueangel the upgrade procedure advises in order to come to the first selection menu in WM5: "If you have a PH20B1 device such as SX66 * Quickly press Record+Windows Media before the versions appears at bottom right * OR, press Power+Softreset+Windows Media Player button+Record at the same time."
If I do so I always end up in the bootloader mode again, no way to get into: "You'll see three options; change the second and the third to "yes"" - just bootloader.
Are there other button combinations for the XDAIII - Blueangel?

Same problem on my xda3:
I have the german Version of it. Everytime i try to upgrabe, a screen with 3 differcent colors arrive and nothing happens.
Pleas help me, i got really stucked on this.
btw: it is the v5 Final-> those version which are pressed on dell and so on? Or isit a beta-version?

I'm new to windows CE and xda-developers. I've bought an orange spv m5000just 4 days back. Downloaded the file M5000ruu.exe and followed the instructions.
The problem is the flash wasn't successful and now I get the classic reset to default (button 0) or restart (button X) screen on a white background. Upon pressing 0 I get a message 'clearing now' on the same screen. The screen then goes blank...
Note that I only get to this screen by pressing both softkeys and using the reset button with my stylus.
What do I do? Please help me!
oops! I just saw the dedicated column for the Jasjar/exec/m5000. Could the mods possibly shift my post if its in the wrong section. Thanks and sorry for the slip-up.
After a chat with h_dubli and a few post searches I solved the problem It seemed I missed the backlight + power + reset combination. I also missed the part where the screen is not backlit, so didn't notice anything. Thanks to you guys I read about this and finally installed the latest patch i.e. m5000ruuu.exe (nov 2006). Thanks a bunch guys!!

Doing the same when you press Power button to switch on should also do the trick.

To reset your Asus P525, do this :
1) turn it off
2) Push the button at the top (you have the square button, you push at the top of the button
3) without releasing the button, turn it on

Help! will not start I did not expect to update BootGalaxy.NB0 along and now will not start checksum ok! Update Fail! and all the ROM, although it about 1-2 h during the run out and only brought into the bootloader such as galaxy flashrom update but it does not look like something is missing from me a long time just not what tom. Hi everyone, I am a new member just joined the community

I tried to update my htc universal O2 to a room. but after a long time nothing was going to work and I broke it, now my screen is black but can be seen that written on the top serial and on the bottom v2.02. When I try again with other program show me that there is no old and no new system and will not done. My English is bad, and please try to understand this!

Put your device in bootloader mode (hold the power button and the light button and put the stylus in the reset hole at the same time),and then connect your device to your computer and then reinstall the original rom.That is it.

I tried to follow the instructions provided in https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3523595 by @eguif (thanks for providing the instructions!) but with some changes that made my Cube go into a restart loop.
I tried to install Spanish language to my Cube (build 14393), but I used the cabs from a previous Win10 build (build 10586) (don't ask why, I am still trying to understand why I did it...).
Result: Now my Cube starts Win 10 (I can see the logo) and then restarts once and again.
Does anyone have any idea on whether I can recover the device or else will be a nice paperweight??

you tried hard reset?
try:
hold power button and volume down together, when vibrate, release power and hold Volume minus until show exclamation mark
connect charger
then press in order: volume up -> volume down -> power button -> volume down.
this works with Lumia phones, don't know if it works with Cube also

i did exactly the same with the german language pack (only mainos.production.... file) and ended up in a boot Loop. but hard reset

then press in order: volume up -> volume down -> power button -> volume down." worked fine for me. BUT: dont use this false language pack again because you will end up in the bootloop again. i had to choose english and where able to Setup win 10 14393.
now i´m searching for the right german language pack to install it over the wrong one. maybe then everything should be fine.
so if anybody knows where i can download the .cab files for 14393 please let me know. would be really helpfull
