[REQ] Stock LG Notification Bar / Quick settings bar - LG Optimus G (International)

I went custom rom 4.2 JB on my LGOG e975 but i really missed the stock notification bar. It's probably the only good thing from the stock rom. Anyone knows how to port it over?
Many thanks in advance! :fingers-crossed:

after so long... no one?! ):

it cant port it yet, due to the framework in the cm rom

i saw the one for at&t e971 (or something like that)...
is it possible to just change some values in that port to fit the e975? sorry don't know much about this stuff...

are you sure it was in a custom rom?? btw the notification bar from stock rom is not good, in custom rom you can change many thing. try to use xposed framework with xblast to customize the notification bar if you dont know how to do it manually. good luck

Ask the dev of that Rom because taking my files needed for ripple will effectively make it alliance because of the amount of files involved

There's an s3 style system ui in the forum as again...taking mine would add all my other mods too.
Can I ask...if the ROM you want has less/none of the stuff you want, why do you want it? What ROM is it?

Ripple don't and wont work with 4.0.3. Why not just use my ROM?!
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Cause i used your rom and the aettings ui and all the other stuff doesnt look likr galaxy s 3 it looks like pure ics with launcher and icons thats it.
I dont say your rom os bad, on fqct i really like it but its missing some of the sgs3 stuff i wanted.
Oh and one more thing when i installed the rom costumizer i didnt found the rom settings panel, is this because i dont have your rom. If this is the reason so can you give me the settings panrl with all the lockscreens and aettings please

Lolol. Yes no settings cos youre not on my rom. But no even if i gave it you it wont work. The settings app just changes database. The lockscreens and mods aren't in the app they're in the framework!!
If you read a little you would have seen that you can download a full s3 theme from ota in my ROM.

I worked a little on this subject and here are my conclusions :
- S3 Notification panel can be installed on any LPX Roms using MOD like Mirko SystemUI (I mad a S3 theme for it),
- Ripple Lockscreen mod is built on framework files & SystemUI, it is very hard to extract to make it work on any ROM (I tried it hard beleive me),
- If you realy want Ripple Lockscreen MOD : install Widget Locker & Ripple mod (see dedicated HowTo in this forum) or better install a ROM like Alliance or Simplistic which provide a full framework that is rock stable and fully customisable.

Don't mean to jack the thread, but is this possible if you're not running a custom ROM?

I'm rooted and I've given a number of apps permissions not possible without root. I'm also using a custom launcher that is able to, among other things, hide the status bar and navigation. Does all that constitute a "custom rom"?

well making the stock notification bar transparent would mean unpacking the rom and editing it so that would make it custom. running an app to hide it. no.

Hiding it doesn't make it custom but changing it's transparency would? I have much to learn. Pardon my noobishness.

Cm10.1 RC3 Navbar dpi change & transparent statusbar

Many of you like me love the features that other roms give but want the stability and battery life of pure cm10.1 official...but i really like if they give options like aokp to center clock with date and resize navbar...they don't so i edit framework-res.apk to change navbar dpi to 36px...i didnt create a flashable zip so you have to manually replace the file with any root explorer!!
Download RC3
I can add more tweaks if anyone interesting...the least i can do!! feel free to ask and if i can i could add them...
Thx, I'll try it right now.

I've been looking for this for a while. It would be better if we could have transparent status bar and an extra option to change the size of it. It's unconfortable to change all the time the file.
I don't why these functions aren't included in CM10.1
edit:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2260772
This ROM includes this feature. Maybe I'll switch to it but I do like the offical CMs and updates.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pikachukaki/files/SystemUI.apk/download i add center clock for cm10.1 forgive me that i haven't test it cause im testing rootbox rom now...if anyone having problems i will remake it but test it firstly but i think its ok!!!

This is a port of Didact74's Multi MOD found here..http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311562

This should work on all AT&T variants running "AMDL"
As always please make a backup before installing...And I'm not responsible for bricked phones...
I will update as Didact74 continues to update his mod...Remember this is all done in everyone's spare time so please don't ask for updates...

Goldeneye is not a MDL Rom, while it has the same baseband it is a different software. The MDOB software by the same dev is MDL based.

Not the latest version is also MF8, not MDL. I don't know about earlier versions.
One of the biggest things to remember is when you use this mod its replacing a lot of things in the ROM you are currently using , potentially breaking some features that you may have wanted from that ROM.
And this is ported from AT&T MDL....
I will get an update out later that adds the services jar...the services jar contains the CRT mod....
Has anybody on MDL had any issues running this???

Real Quick- I read the OP and only used an AT&T MDL based ROM.. When the OP states it will only work on that version, I get confused by everyone asking "If" it works on other stuff- Obviously if it did then the OP would say it....sorry not directed at you at all....
To answer your question, yes it have been sticking.
Not to ask

Using Xposed + modules don't work fir me either. It'll work fir a while, but soon, it's like SystemUI restarts and the stock grayish color just comes back.
The closest I've ever gotten is making the status bar transparent. Its not what I'd like to do though, which is to turn the status bar solid black.
