Status bar color - LG Optimus G Pro

can someone plz help me to change my status bar to full black or transparent?

Hi, looking for this also. Thanks

That would be good...

Do a search for Xposed Framework and Xposed Modules and I'm pretty sure you will find the answer.

Using Xposed + modules don't work fir me either. It'll work fir a while, but soon, it's like SystemUI restarts and the stock grayish color just comes back.
The closest I've ever gotten is making the status bar transparent. Its not what I'd like to do though, which is to turn the status bar solid black.

Its completely att... that's why I ported it. I did forget to put the services jar in the zip and that could be causing the issue.
I will repackage and test....

Goldeneye is not a MDL Rom, while it has the same baseband it is a different software. The MDOB software by the same dev is MDL based.

Not the latest version is also MF8, not MDL. I don't know about earlier versions.
One of the biggest things to remember is when you use this mod its replacing a lot of things in the ROM you are currently using , potentially breaking some features that you may have wanted from that ROM.
And this is ported from AT&T MDL....
I will get an update out later that adds the services jar...the services jar contains the CRT mod....
Has anybody on MDL had any issues running this???

Real Quick- I read the OP and only used an AT&T MDL based ROM.. When the OP states it will only work on that version, I get confused by everyone asking "If" it works on other stuff- Obviously if it did then the OP would say it....sorry not directed at you at all....
To answer your question, yes it have been sticking.
Not to ask
Said not to ask, but I have too... Didact74 has newer releases for the Verizon S4.. It's been few weeks.....Anything new?

Changing status bar battery icon color ?

I been trying to find a way to change the color of my status bar battery icon to white but nothing has worked. I have tried xposed and changing the color does not work. I'm running wicked v3, it bothers the heck out of me because it does not look good with my theme any help would be much appreciated.

I haven't used UOT Kitchen since my g1/mt4g days but I'm thinking they have support for android 4.3 phones/roms. Try giving that a try, I might also cuz I like to theme some stock roms with colored status bar icons too.

I have Xposed installed, and none of the modules I've tried seem to work for changing the battery icon or its color. The ones I've used are Wanum, Xbattery Themer and Xposed Status Bar Mods. All of the other icons can be changed, but the battery is stubborn.
I'm on the stock ROM with a the Faux123 kernel.
You need to change the battery images in your systemui.apk, wanam can change your battery icon image but it dont let you choose color because it's replacing the battery image with his.

Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
You need to decompile the systemui.apk and replace the battery images with the ones you like, I think you could just open the apk with 7zip or winrar and drop the battery images you want, not really sure if that still works though, you said you're on wicked right I thought wicked had a white theme

Moto G Nav Bar Transparency

The Nav Bar isn't all that transparent. Is there any way of increasing the transparency?
PS: I know about Gravity Box but it doesn't work great. The Nav Bar turns black every time I exit an app.

yes, Gravity Box doesn't work great. Nav Bar always turn black. and Gravity Box doesn't allow to switch back and recent key. The only benefit is can make Nav Bar a little bit thin.

Hi, I to have had the same issues with gravity box transparent nav bar.
I have found however the the motoXposed app from play store works perfect, even when nav bar is 100 percent transparent.
It will also remove the carrier label. Hope this helps and remember to turn of nav bar transparency in gravity box or it won't work.

Are you using a custom photo? I was playing around and noticed that if you use your own photo as a wallpaper and have it zoomed all the way out, KitKat will not position the photo under the nav bar to maximize the displayed width of the photo.
If you zoom into the photo just a little bit when positioning it, you'll get transparent nav bars again.
EDIT: Nvm, sorry. Apparently, I can't read.

Transparent Nav and Notification Bar?

Are there any devs or someone smarter than me, that could theme the top notification bar and bottom navigation bar to be semi transparent/fully transparent like how it is on the homescreen w kitkat, so when im in an app it could still be transparent instead of big black bars?
I'm a newb when it comes to editing ui files etc, thanks for the help.

I think when you update to 4.4.2 Google gave all the devices the transparency on both the nav bar and notification bar. Its even on the lockscreen too. If you open up some app they take advantage of it. Some apps don't such as fb. I think its up to the developers to update their apps. So I'm not convinced you need to modify your frameworks or anything like that its all enabled bone stock =]

yeah im just wondering, if its possible to modify the files to make it to where even if an app hasn't, the black will still be semi transparent, b/c im sure there will be plenty of developers who choose to not bother adding it

Only nexus 5 has transparent bar, nexus 4 update to 4.4.2 cannot install latest android home launcher.

Just went thru an rooted installed this mod, literally does everything, except transparency lol Thanks tho for the help/replies guys.
Just use a custom rom with it built in. Custom roms have had transparencies way back in the day. Where do you think Google got the idea?
Xposed does this well. You have to enable transparency AND have a launcher and touchscreen that supports it. If your launcher doesn't support it then it won't work. Gotta have both.
