APN for AT&T - Huawei Ascend P6, Mate

Anyone have this phone and is using the device here in the US? I bought mine in the Philippines and now I'm back in the US. When I try to use my AT&T SIM card, the data is not working (making/receiving calls works). What I noticed is that I don't see a default APN appearing on the settings. I manually added APN I copied from my Nexus 4, but still no go. It does work with my T-Mobile SIM, and there are actually several default APN appearing on the settings.
Thanks.

[Q] Reset to default APN doesn't work on t-mobile

My wife has a Rogers Optimus G, in Canada. I have a Fido Nexus 4. We both got T-Mobile prepaid SIM cards for use on our frequent visits to the US. The problem I'm having is setting up the T-Mobile APN on the OG.
When I reboot my N4 with the TMobile SIM card in, it automatically sets up the correct APNs.
When my wife reboots her OG with the same TMobile SIM card, the APNs are blank. When I try to Reset APNs to default, nothing happens - the list stays blank. When we reboot the OG with a Canadian (Rogers or Fido) SIM card, it usually sets up the correct APNs on its own. On the rare occasion that it hasn't, Resetting APNs to default has worked.
I can manually create a new APN on her OG, copying the settings from my N4, but it's a tedious process, and moreover, it's not something my wife can really do when I'm not around.
Can anybody think of why this might be happening, or some sort of workaround? I've done a fair bit of searching, but haven't found anything.
She's leaving for Florida on Saturday, a solution before then would be great.
Thanks.

Thanks, that looked perfect, except for this:
NOTE: Starting with Android 4.0/ICS, 3rd Party apps don't have access to write APN settings, hence this app no longer works for restoring APN backups as a normal app. You can convert it to a System app using Titanium Backup on a rooted phone and use.

Simple Talk APN settings...mms problems

So I just left tmobile this morning and ported my number to straight talk (using an At&T micro sim card). I am having issues getting mms to work. I tried the APN settings from straight talks website but nothing worked (no data, no mms). I searched a bunch of forums and found an APN setting that gets me data, but no mms. Anyone else have the Tmobile Samsung Galaxy S3 (non LTE) that switched to Straight Talk At&t sim card and have everything working?
Thanks in advance.
Is your Data Connection working ? Ask Straighttalk for their correct APN Settings. They do control MMS.

Wap is a very ancient APN. Please call customer Service for correct settings.

XZ2 Compact APNs Locked?

I've been using my XZ2 Compact on Verizon since it was released. No issues. Switched to Total Wireless today, and my internet will not work. Voice and text works fine. Total Wireless operates on Verizon's network. This SIM card works fine when I put it into a Google Pixel.
My APN settings are locked (there is no "+" button). Automatically updating the APN settings adds a Verizon profile that is totally different than the one that automatically popped up on my Pixel. I can delete the existing APN profile, but I cannot add one. I've restarted the phone many times, both while connected to WiFi and not. I get internet back immediately if I reboot with the Verizon SIM.
I've searched around the interwebs, and I cannot find anything. Any help would be appreciated.

I use another mvno and the part that's most important is 'apn name' when using an mvno mine has to be set to say reseller... Have you tried pressing download internet settings? That usually fixes the problem and bring back the plus or allow you to manually change the apn setting after it downloads it. Take it you aren't using the dual sim as sometimes switching the Sims around brings back the apn menu.
Thanks for the insight. I have tried downloading settings several times, it just bring back the "VZWINTERNET" APN.
It is a single SIM US model.
I have not tried renaming the APN. That is the one thing I can edit on it.

Does total wireless publish the apn settings? Sometimes ios/android uses slightly different settings. Just look at what apn name should be, and try to match it up..

I'll try that as soon as I get home, thanks!
I can't believe it! Changing APN Name to "TRACFONE.VZWENTP" is all that was needed. Thanks a bunch!

Correct APN's

What are the correct APN setting for our device? When using a custom rom, I can't ever seem to send picturers.. I'm using Textra, which says it automatically sets the correct APN settings for your carrier, but I'm not to sure.. This is naturally the Sprint Version of this phone. I also have the carrier limit set to Zero, and switched to legacy instead of system..

APN is based on the carrier not the phone. Google the APN for the carrier and then make sure everything matches. This phone especially the Sprint version is very strange when it comes to network providers. I've used tmobile att Sprint and Verizon sims on stock and several ROMs and sometimes things work and sometimes they don't.
