CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

Well i stayed up to install it. So far so good. I was holding out on an older WFTN build one before many people started having wifi and data issues.
GPS 3G, 4G, WIfi all working well so far. Won't really know for a day or two. Can't be sure of anything but my initial impressions are good.

Whoa!! Thank you! Great Job man!

official! better late than never, amazing work dastin

Congrats buddy, Good job. But i don't get why i cant find it under devices on the cya site?
Edit: Did any drastic changes or anything really change from unofficial? JB modems do work with 4g ONLY no 3g support

thanks for getting our phone recognized....Finally!!! Great job bro!

Great Work. I have been waiting for this day!
Side Note as I see it was asked, there is no data while on JB Modem. We know this to be true because, Dastin hasnt mentioned it as a fix in WFTN Build as of yet. Also, just to confirm. I flashed a JB modem and come to a result with no data.

Thanks, i didn't see it in op to not use a modem and i thought that was the requirement for it to become a CM official rom.

So just for the record, how will WFTN differ from these nightly releases now since we have official support?

Pretty sure WFTN will be dead as hes going to continue to work on this rom and tweak it to make it perfect. With it being official i assume hell be getting alot more assistance from the cya community which will be great! other more exp people will have to elaborate more than me

Had exactly the same question.
Really nice work btw. Will likely be moving away from this device soon but will certainly keep running your builds on it as it'll make a good play/backup device.

My understanding was that official cm builds needed to remain pretty "pure" while wftn would give the flexibility to add whatever tweaks dastin wants. I've asked the same question and may be making all of this up. So I'll let dastin tell us for sure.

All up to dastin for sure. I don't know why he'd wanna start adding tweaks and halos and stuff when he was going for pure and clean before but if he wants to start dabbling with wftn like that he can but as he always says he doesn't have much time so i figured he'd pretty much drop it and move on to full support of this i may be wrong but hell be the only one to answer it.

(Do not report device-specific issues here, i.e. stuff not working on CM9, report only stuff that you saw as a setting and didn't work as expected)
Lastly, thanks to the CyanogenMod team, for all their work, and thanks to the guys who ported ics to this tab(us again xD).
It's just meant to be an addition of tablet specific tweaks to CM, and we might look forward to merging this functionality into CM later on, but for now, have fun with this.

Thanks for your contribution .
hmm, so i assume it´s safe to flash this one over the latest (#36) build of the aokp port?
or will it mess up my mtd tables and brick it?

Mr 21 questions
Its the same as humberos and alroger builds but its now the official unofficial builds if you understand what I'm saying. Its now recognized as a cm9 variant by the te4m. Its like experimental builds to test before pushing to official cm9 git. So you can bounce around to humberos, this or alroger builds with no issues

Of course.
Humberos and cdesai has stopped working on non MTD of whatever ICS kernel.
From somewhere in April it is all MTD, there is no need to go back now.

this would be helpful for user who confused about the different from your ICS CM9 SGT7 Unofficial build with your Official build.

you wouldnt need to restock to install this over aokp #36, or to go back to aokp if you ever chose to in the future (though you can if you want to be extra safe). the aokp builds are based off the SGT7 TE4M's awesome work (hence why you see a cm9 boot screen when the kernel first boots). however, definitely do a factory reset / dalvik cache wipe, they are different builds software wise.

1. Wiping Battery Stats does nothing, that file is a myth, the actual data comes from a driver in the kernel, and this file ain't related.
2. Sadly, this might be the sign of a failing battery - does it get too hot while being used or hotter than it used to be before?
Does it charge quicker than before?
Install CPUSpy from Play Store and check if the tab's going into Deep Sleep.

Well, that's it for now - we technically don't maintain the recoveries, so you'll have to talk to the folks that support them directly. This particular one is the stock CM recovery that we added external_sd support to and it is build with the proper SELinux capability to prevent the reboot of doom seen with the CM10.1 based recoveries.
Ohhh yeah, just saw this drop on g+. Downloading now, thanks for the hard work. Will report back once up and running

If you do that, you are on your own. The 10.1 recoveries do not know how to deal with the SELinux capable file system properly. You can run into some major snags that way.
This recovery, although it's very basic, works just fine for flashing zips and taking backups. Plus, it is the only one right now for the Hercules and Skyrocket that correctly works with the new filesystem for 4.3

No sweat man, I"m sure it's only a matter of time before the appropriate changes are made to TWRP and CWMR Touch. Our device is a bit of an oddball in how the storage volumes are setup, so this issue was really unique to us with 4.3

so far so good, just missing the options to disable touch keys from lighting up. Going back to 4.2.2 until mainline nightlies show up.Also lack of TWRP is upsetting.
Thanks for the work you've been doing for us!! Can't wait for a dayly driver!
The only bug I've been able to spot so far is that there is still a reboot issue when accessing the external SD card from a gallery app. I can use quickpic just fine, but once I hit the SD card folder, the phone locks up and inevitably reboots.
Other than that, this is a very good alpha build of Android 4.3! Great work TeamChopsticks!

The recovery link isn't working.... anyone have a mirror that isn't d-h.st?
Edit: Finally downloaded...
Edit: anyone know if advanced settings are making a come back any time soon?
Man, I feel so late joining the 4.3 party.
Anyway, just flashing the CWM for CM10.2 now. Its not TWRP but as long as I can still revert back to my nandroid backup made with TWRP in case things go wonky, I'll be fine.
So far, CM10.2 alpha builds for Hercules runs great: feels a bit smoother than 4.2 and faster.
4.3
Thanks so much for the hard work devs this is great!!!
There is a NFC wakelock issue with the latest 10.2 rom, as shown by BetterBatteryStats.
NfcService:mEeWakeLock - 87.7%
I cannot turn off NFC either.

Cool! Is this rom good for daily use? Are those the only issues present?
Edit: Just noticed which device this is for... No GT-N8010?

Need to use CWM, the lastest version available.
Updated OP with gapps
Stupid question... Is there a way to install cwm on a SCH-I925? If I search for cwm and SCH-I925 I find nothing.
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, it doesnt work on the N8000. I would gladly test it. But it doesnt even detect the file. Same deal goes with the Gapps.

If I get time I will look at making this, but it will be a few days before I even look at it.
No worries, I have all the time. No haste. If you do, I would gladly become the first tester.
Any screen shots please?

This may be a really dumb question, and sorry if I overlooked something, but why is this posted in the Note 10.1 development if it's for the I925?

Wrong thread for this question.
Hmm so if the Verizon note 10.1 gets official cm11 I'm sure and hopeful that the WiFi version n8013 should get official nightlies soon

Any news about the N8000? I'm on OmniRom and we having a problem with the screen that goes white https://www.dropbox.com/s/f5r5ltdppw5iqsh/IMG_20131228_181900.jpg
I was wondering if you had the same problem with your rom since I believe the two tables share the same hardware.
If you need someone to test CM11 on a N8000 I'm available!

[ROM][Official] OmniRom [4.4.2]

This is the thread for the official nightly builds of Omnirom. This is here for everyone to find info on latest builds, discuss the rom, features and any issues and also to provide an easy way to download everything you will need for the nightly builds.
I do not make these builds, they are compiled nightly by the official omni buildbot, therefore I cannot add/remove features or fix different issues myself, they must be submitted through official bug report channels.

What is OmniRom?-
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Omni is a chance to get involved, no matter who you are. Developers, whether you’ve been developing apps for a week, or ROM features for 3 years, you’re welcome. Users, we know you want to help out, and now you can – Omni actively encourages bug reports and feature requests, which can be added to our publicly accessible roadmap. What’s the point in giving you a ROM, and forcing you to not tell us about any bugs you find?
We also recognise how people use Custom ROMs – we’re all custom ROM users and developers ourselves – the argument that “nightlies are not for end users” is over-used, and no longer valid. We’ve found that the vast majority of users want to get nightly updates to their ROM. For that reason, nightlies aren’t a playground – nightlies are for new features that are finished. You should be able to expect the same stability and reliability from a nightly as you would from a “release” ROM, and can report any bugs that prevent this from happening.
We know not everyone wants to update their ROM daily, and you are free to update as frequently or infrequently as you like. Omni is about flexibility and giving users what they expect – and we are excited to see where the community goes with it.

Glad to see you got this set up. I know you worked hard for it.
I for one am sticking to your "tweaked", omnimetal version, but I think this setup is huge for toro since it'll open up the door for other devs, and the community as a whole to keep pushing for new features and updates.
I am gonna try this ROM right now

Getting "your device isn't compatible with this version" for several apps that should be compatible. I seem to get this on all Omni based ROMs.

Yes that is my issue as well. SMS and Launchers. I was thinking this was a known issue in 4.4 and other ROMs have gotten past it.
I think I know the fix as well, once I get a chance to test it, I will upload it to their gerrit so they can merge it

Sounds great, thanks! I love both this and OMNIMetal so hopping this does the trick as this is the only issue I have run across.
Thank you for your work!

I've been using this for about two weeks now, and I really like it. Thanks for bringing Omni to toro.
Anyway to get official changelog?
So I don't know if I am just looking in the wrong spot, but I cant seem to find the changelog on the omnirom website for just the galaxy nexus. Just wondering if its there or not.

+1 haven't found it either
So who could actually get a changelog for toro setup on the website. Could metalspring do it or would we need to ask someone over at OmniROM?
Is anyone else using this ROM besides me?

I am! Pretty sleepy in here. As far as I can tell not much has changed for toro in a while. ROM is rock solid, stable, good data stability, but I worry that it won't be supported for long.

No changelog for one. And the maintainer seems to have dropped off the radar - I hope he is ok.
They do a universal change log probably.

Yeah, I look at https://gerrit.omnirom.org/#/q/status:merged,n,z and https://changelog.omnirom.org for changes to the code base, but it's hard to filter through stuff that didn't apply to toro. But with no active maintainer available, when something does adversely effect toro it would be hard to get it corrected. Also, it's hard to know if optimizations, such as the recent aosp lte stack improvements, actually got merged for toro without a dedicated maintainer and changelog.
Has this ROM switched to the grey/KitKat menu colors yet? I used a PA ROM not long ago. And a lot of the menus were still blue.
