Wireless Bluetooth Earphones for Xperia S

Hi Guys,
I am looking for a Wireless Bluetooth Earphones for my Xperia S (for music), not very expensive.
While looking for such earphones at eBay, it seems these only supports NOKIA phones for music eBay Link
Please suggest !!!

Try using bluetooth for music before buying anything. Sony have screwed up and bluetooth playback stutters like anything!

I've used my senheisers with a sony mw600 as i dont always use BT.
I have used a pair of sony Ericsson is800s which are similar to what your looking at, and I've been happy with them.

Mine doesn't stutter at all unless I am surfing the web and even then wired headphones stutter too.

Only the odd stutter over a wired connection, but blue tooth is terrible when listening to media. Stutters with music every few seconds. Videos can be unwatchable

I have a Motorola s10 and he works well with Xperia s, I didn't had any stutter problem( yet xD)...
And s10 really looks like with you are looking for, sorry for my horrible English ^^

Looks like, but my box isnt write droid, only Motorola, and the colors are black with some details in white, but maybe this one is a Verizon version, or something like that...
Its a bit expensive, but I never heard a better sound for a cellphone wireless headset(at least the headsets that I tested)...

[Q] Apple Earpods aren't detected on CM 10

Hey guys, i've just bought the Apple Earpods and after trying them on my iPod Touch 4g, I tried them on my phone. They weren't detected. I looked for info about it and in this forum I saw that i had to download soundabout. I did, but Earpods aren't still detected. Does anyone have an idea of this problem ? Thank you all !

It's blindingly obvious. You can't use Apple earphones with Android devices because they were made for Apple devices. These earphones will contain hardware that can only be used with Apple devices. No matter what program you use, you won't get the same experience from it as compared to using it with an Apple device.

Looks like Earpod is not supported by Sony phones, not a software issue. Incompatible headset notification appeared on Sony stock Rom. But, when I tested it on my friend's Samsung Galaxy Note 2, it worked.

It's not an Android's problem because I tried them on my bro's phone and they worked.
Isn't there any solution then ?

I believe Arc uses OMTP audio jack
Will earpods are TSSP (like most other phones)
U can find OMTP to TSSP adapters/converters online

It's not a software thing, it's hardware related.
It's the 3.5mm jack itself. The 2011 xperia phones are made with OMTP standard jacks. But most of the new headsets are made on the CTIA standard.
The difference is the switched ground and microphone place of connection.

You could buy a adapter or cut the cable and switch the connections yourself (not recommended )
Altough, any headset WITHOUT a microphone will work on both devices

Connect to two Bluetooth headsets simultaneously?

I want to buy two in ear Bluetooth headsets to use as wireless headphones to listen to music with. I've been researching if it's possible to sync two headsets to one phone, and from what I've seen, whether or not this is possible is largely hardware dependent. I was wondering if any of you have done this with the i747 and can confirm it works before I buy anything
Just to be clear, I'm not talking about multipoint, which allows one Bluetooth headset to sync with two phones.

should do. i can connect to car stereo and a jbl flip at the same time.

I personally did this but with two different brand units. They never seemed "in sync" with each other. I suppose using the same models may have solved that issue but wasn't able to try. Instead a purchased a pair of Motorola Bluetooth ear buds and love them.

That's good to know, I just bought two of the same model, so hopefully it'll just work. I'll report back results

So they just came in and my phone will only sync one at a time. Gonna keep doing research but I'll post findings here since a lot if this seems to be hardware specific

I just tried this also, with two identical DB power Mini Bluetooth earpieces. Only one will pair at a time, so it doesn't work with these either, just so anyone interested in these knows ahead of time. You can set one up for phone audio, and one for media audio though, at the same time.

3.5mm jack - only hear sound from the left side

Been happening recently. Most of the time it outputs sound on the left side but for some reason it goes some what normal where the right side outputs little to no sound and the left side outputs normal.
Since it's international europe unlocked and I bought from a retailer (Handtec) outside of Canada. How do I approach this to get this fixed? I am sure the phone is still under warranty as I bought this around June (I think).

Is there lint in the jack? This happened to me once and ti was a quick fix.

I seem to recall seeing this issue reported on the LG G2 when it came out. People just weren't pushing the headphone plug into the socket hard enough. It took significantly more effort to properly seat the plug than most people were used to, so the plug was only making intermittent contact with one channel. Of course, you don't wanna seat it with a hammer, either. You might want to try twisting a little bit as you insert it.

I tried with various of headphones. Still the same, left side with sound and right side with out sound. I tried twisting it, cleaning it, pushing it hard. Still same issue :\

Do you play some specific audio ?
some song ? Stereo/Mono ?
Custom audio player from playstore ?
Using any equalizer ?
Custom ROM ?
Also..
happens when phone cover is installed on phone and audio plug doesn't fit properly.
If none of above then you my friend possibly have a defective audio jack..
Did your phone receive any shock recently ?
You took your phone to the bathroom because it could be causing due to moisture..
There are many other reasons..

Everything is stock... It does this for everything including youtube, games, etc. I usually use poweramp as my main music player but it does this on the stock music app and google music.
It has been dropped a few times but at most like 2 - 3 inches form the ground.

1. You could have bad audio jack
2. It could simply be dislocated due to minor shock (Just maybe)
3. Defective main board (Maybe)

FM Tuner question

I recently purchased a Hizpo Android headunit with 9.0 it has 4gb of RAM and 64 internal storage. Anyway my question is, I noticed that the mp3's audio seems to sound alot better than just the FM Tuner. The FM audio sounds really weak. Is there any adjustments I can make to the settings or is that just the way it is. I have a 10 inch kicker Sub that is self amplified and sounds good on the mp3's but on the Tuner it is almost non existent. I don't have the external remote gain for the Sub, but is that what I need to get the sound closer to where the mp3's sound? The unit is installed in a 2007 Ford supercrew cab truck.

I used to have a cheap unit that I got from Ebay. It worked well enough to watch live TV through using PDA net. Great for long drives. My boss and I watched a Monday night game when we had to make a five hour drive. Be careful though. My TV service was noticeably lower than the MP3 volume and equalizer effect. I had to get a get an app to fix the issue. This was on an Android 4.2 and it was five years ago. I do know that they have apk's that balance the sound. Another option is to look at the code. Its not too difficult to figure out. This morning I found the one on my phone that sets the Bluetooth volume way low when it is channeled through a speaker. It was in the ".etc" file. Coders usually do a fair job at labeling each section. It was easy to see that the headphone, call, and hearing aid were all set with maximum values of 4800 with steps for each volume reference at double the speaker that was set at 2800. Careful with this though. If you're driving the sound through an amplifier, as I think you are and should with 10" subs, then you stand a chance of burning up the amp and/or blowing the speakers if you put too much out from the head unit pre-amp. Its better to adjust the MP3 down rather than the FM up.
