hi frnds plz help me when I playing games on s4 mini duos like temple run oz it's lag and sometimes playing subway any solution for it I clear many times ram via clean master but still lags

i also find lag with my S4 mini I9192 while playing games which are not that demanding...
googled and found this::
http://www.galaxys4forums.net/forum/12-galaxy-s4-help/2986-s4-mini-lags-games.html

hey friends...
do u also see lag/stutter while using your S4 mini i9192 ???
plz reply.....

i have similar problem with 9190 on candy crush and plant vs zombies 2

I had this problem with my I9195. Flashed a custom ROM and the problem went away straight away. All games are now really smooth.

I emailed samsung about this issue:: my email ::
Your question
hi sir,
this is Amit Chauhan, from Delhi, India.
I bought samsung S4 mini on 18 october 2013 and after using it for about a month have noticed certain anomaly with the handset, which is also observed by various other users, have read a lot of forums including xda.
the issue is:: with the processor.. i suppose.
its clock fluctuates a lot as is observed by me by using an app CPU-Z.
actually need to check this arrived when almost all games - light / heavy showed lag/ stutter for few seconds in between. also same thing is also observed while in menu , or watching videos . i.e video appear as if it is shot in slow motion,occasionally..
while playing candy crush saga too..sometimes candies explod in real slow motion.. so maybe the problem is with some code related to the use of processor, its clocking speed, which forces the processing to reduce to a level which causes lag in games/ menu/ video playing... maybe the issue is with graphic handling...
kindly fix the issue as its bugging the otherwise a good handset.
thanking you
Amit Chauhan

which files you removed after you rooted your device..? Which made it lag free.. Just bloatwares or something else also..
@fburgos you are absolutely correct.

I brought a new s4 mini 4 days ago, it's a SGH-I257M firmware4.2.2
And I have the issue as yours, sudden lag every few minutes.
Had anyone find a way to solve this problem?

Missing Apps/Screens from Samsungs web Advertisement

Guys,
Had a search but couldn't find anything, so unsure if this has already been discussed.
If so I apologies in advance to the original poster.
The Question:
On the Samsung Galaxy S web site advertisement it shows a 'Morning' or 'Home' screen with several icons and a large clock.
Also there is then the 'Driving' screen which again shows several icons relating to applications you will want to see and use whilst getting to work.
Finally at the end of the evening we have a 'TV Remote Control' to take over the television.
Have I missed something but I can't find any of these available?
Thanks in advance for any news.
Are these not apps that will be available from the Samsung Store / Market when it launches?

Well if that is the case then why are we not seeing them?
The Galaxy S has now been out since the 4th June and you would have thought if they showed these Apps runnning at their shows we would now be seeing them live on our very own screens.
Beards sorry to say that Samsung is like that... when i bought my Samsung Omnia II, there were apps that were inlcuded with the phone etc when they were presenting it.. then when i got the unit it didnt have them.. also i wouldnt rely too much on the Samsung App store, its useless.. The Windows Mobile Version was really crap too...
Thanks...
Although I am loving the phone I can't say the same for Samsung.
They even got the battery type wrong in the end.... or simply changed it from being a Li-Pol to a Li-Ion ~ which I've posted on in another topic).
Annoyed by this as well, was sold on the phone partly on things like the remote control app as I have a Samsung TV and the remote for it is absolutely terrible.
Will probably be worth emailing them en-masse to see if they have just delayed the app or hoped nobody would notice.

I know and feel the same as you.
I too have one of the latest Samsung Series 8 TV's and was looking forward to having that remote (my Granddaughter manages often to sneakily get the TV Remote. The TV comes with two remotes ~ a large normal remote and a small ball like-shaped remote which my Wife has by her chair)
I will look for an appropriate email address when I get home from work, we should probably get as many people as we can with the SGS to email them and see what their reply is. Could probably throw in some "false advertising" talk and see if it calls their hand.

That will be geat..... Rather than all of us looking and finding different email addresses it will make sense to have one common address to hit.
I'm all for sending off messages to those that do not deliver as promised.
Let's be honest, if a certain fruit flavoured company did this, they would be looking at a swift invite to court.
are they not part of touch wiz and switched on when you use the home or car docks? Not sure about the tv remote - but i heard that only worked with 2010 samsung tv's anyway (via dlna?)
i believe there are some developer tools that let you fake various dock schemes on the android marketplace if oyu want to check.
Well for those of us in the UK this seems the best bet:

Thank you for this.
I was just about to start sending off a message when I decided to first go to the Samsung-Mobile UK web site and get the names of the morning alarm and car screens which showed the application icons.
Imagine my surprise when I find the movie they used to play that used to show these screens (including the TV Remote) have all disappeared.
Has anyone else noticed these items seemed to be have dropped from the Samsung sites?
Here's the UK one which used to show them.
EDITED:
Okay, I dropped them off an email.
If anyone wishes to use/copy the one I sent please feel free to do so.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to you today in order that I may obtain information as to the whereabouts of various screens and applications that are missing from the previously shown video promotion for the Samung i9000 Galaxy S.
When the Samsung i9000 Galaxy S was first introduced it showed on various Samsung web sites a video promotion of the phone being run outlining various screen uses it would carry out throughout the course of the day.
The first of these screen uses were a 'Morning Screen' which showed the TIME in Landscape mode and had various morning applications.
Next we had the 'In Car Screen' where the i9000's screen had now changed with this time showing (again in Landscape mode) various applications laid out in a pattern that were associated with work/business.
Finally towards the end of the evening we had an 'Entertainment Screen', where one could sit back in front of their Samsung TV and use the i9000 as a TV Remote.
My question to you is ~ What has happened to these screens.
1. Why do we not see these screens and applications on our i9000 Galaxy S as previously advertised?
2. Why have these screens been dropped from the Samsung web site video promotion?
I purchased my Samsung i9000 Galaxy S in part based on the web video promotion and what was shown at the various Live Shows.
Now I find these screens and applications no longer advertised nor available on the i9000.
I look forward to your kind response.
Yours sincerely
Nicely put, I will use the same one, was a little tipsy last night so had to stop myself sending a message in case I said anything silly.
the remote is part of the allshare app - controlls your 2010 sammy tv via dlna. the other screens are dock specific - car and home dock respectively so i assume part of touchwiz.
a bit of googling is all you need to find this out.

Then why has Samsung removed all reference to this from the web site I gave earlier?
Also, ref the DLNA screen...... I don't get any remote showing for my Samsung Series 8 TV.
Well guys, I received a reply from Samsung.... and not one that I was wanting either.
Basically the department have washed their hands of the question and told me to go to 'Tech Supp'.
I've now fired another question to them asking why on earth this is a technical issue?
Below is the reply I received from Samsung:-

As you and anyone else reading this will understand, the only way we are going to get answers is to voice our concerns and questions.
The more that ask the stronger our feelings should be felt.
The answer is probably simple and clear but to make it that way we have to ask Samsung to 'spell it out'.

[Q] Must business apps with S-Pen

Hi guys,
I would like to know from you all who advised me of the applications you can use with the s-pen of our Note 8.
After almost month of use I still can not make the most: I would like to be able to use the s-pen such as multiple spot Samsung display but only with "qPDF note" and more apps in the rom I can not find much more.
He always talked about the possibility of change on office documents but I can not do: it is my problem or "Polaris" is not the appropriate software! How can I write on these??
Thank you all in advance ...

Can someone with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10' test this?

Hi
I have a mysterious problem with one of my applications. For some reason it doesn’t work properly with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10' (probably other devices too, this is the only one I’m sure of). Unfortunately I don’t have access to such device and sense I make no money on my application (it’s free) I was hoping that someone here could help me test this .
My application is used for education and is mostly designed to learn foreign languages. One way to practice is to use flashcard that I have implemented in OpenGL. To get this working I render bitmaps with text that is shown on the cards.
One user has reported that this doesn’t work with Tab 2, after a while the text is no longer visible. If the application is paused and then restored it works again. The bitmaps are rendered in a thread and I think that is the problem (if no threads are used it seems to work better). All devices I’m using for testing works fine so I’m really puzzled.
To test this please download and install:
http://www.pekspro.com/vokabelbeta/Vokabel1_13d.apk
Open the application, go to the files and open a file in the examples.
When the file is open, go the the tab Quiz and select Flashcard (3d).
Every second time bitmaps are generated in a thread, other times without any thread. On the top of screen there is some debug text. Please let me know what is says if cards are stopped working. Or even better send me a log from the application.
This feels like a weird request, but please please please help me solve this problem. It literally keeps me sleepless, xda is my only hope .
I can confirm that after a couple of questions, the flashcards go blank.
The debug text doesn't seem to change though
(Alive counter:nnn Duplicate request for: xxx)
It only seems to happen in landscape and it can be cured by rotating to portrait then back again...
In portrait mode the debug in this case is always just 'single thread'.
I would have a go on the emulator set to 10" landscape.
Thank you so very much . This is really interesting information for me.
I have done some testing with the emulator and some other devices but haven’t been to replicate the problem. I have reviewed my code and changed a couple of things that might cause some problems. Do you mind do a second test?
http://www.pekspro.com/vokabelbeta/Vokabel1_13e.apk
Either way I’m really thankful for this
Now the problem is solved. Thanks for all feedback

WARNING: Jiayu S3 Malware warning! How to detect and remove.

Recieved my shiny new Jiayu S3 3GB version today.
Noticed some dodgy apps in the all apps list, decided to malware scan - glad I did!
First check to see if your device is infected.
Go to your google apps play store and install Malware-byte's Anti-Malware Mobile.
Run a scan on the device, if it's the same as me you'll get 19 detected items. Feel free to scan with another scanner if you don't trust it.
After scanning with just Malware-bytes, the items I had were:
afternoon
Black Hole
blue sea
Butterfly Love
Fangge
Fantasy
FoldPager
Galaxy5
GoldenLife
Gridiron
honor
IOS7
LuckyCat
Petal
PowderBox
Snow and ice
Star Diamond
Twinkle
Zoo
REMOVAL:
I had to go into the security menu of the settings and enable Superuser.
Install this app from the Play Store: 'System app remover (ROOT)' (I can't post outside links)
Using this app you can remove the apps. I also removed the "Unlocker" and "father.rickety.ordinaire.suspiciousness" even though they weren't detected as Malware because..well they sound suspicious. (I mean come on, 'suspiciousness' in the title?!)
I have been monitoring the phone and I have seen no effect of functionality after removing these packages.
The speed of the phone has also increased, which is nice.
From my research it looks like Jiayu have used a 4.4.4 base ROM that was infected as there are other Jaiyu phones with the 4.4.4 ROM that are infected with these.
Best of luck and enjoy your malware free Jiayu S3
I am on the latest S3S rom 20150507-083407 and ran this anti malware and it picked up nothing, a clean scan. I bought mine from the Factory website.
No known malware on mine. As an extra precaution I use DroidWall, a iptables app to block any conversation from apps that don't need access to internet or lan.
KapzyPanda, where did you buy your phone ? Have you changed the Android (OTA, custom ROM) ?
I got mine from coolicool, EU warehouse, several OTA updates, then update to S3S 20150507-083407 from needrom.
Scanning now, found 2 problems.
Actually, the same file: WiFiKill - this is not a problem.
Your 19 problems found - what was the name of the infection ?
Congratulations..... you managed to remove all your pretty (variety) lock screens. Including the star diamond which is FABULOUS and can be seen in action in s7yler's review of this phone on youtube at time code 6:40.... In the later firmware version it has been removed because of all the false flagging which is a darn shame because I love this lock screen. Soooooo if any of you know how to get hold of the desired star diamond, DO please let me know...... It would be much appreciated....

I guess if you can find the ROM (perhaps on needrom), then you can unpack it, and loop mount the system partition where the star diamond can be found as apk.

I didn't even know that was possible.... Newbie eager to learn..... Just did a search on the how to's now and see that you can unpack a rom with winrar etc.... Wow... Now I don't understand the loop mounting bit (yet) but I guess I can't just extract the apk, place it in the download folder and run because it's part of the system? What about using something like APK Swapper?

hi
you should be careful from where you download roms.
Some will/are indeed infected.
I saw at least 3 roms infected (2 from that site we all know needr ...) and another one from another forum ...
Also, some Chinese stores re-flashed their devices, with those roms... I dont know whats the deal...
cheers
The deal is that what we consider viruses the China based devices are required to have so the Chinese government can monitor it's citizens.
To be honest unless you live in China I would avoid China devices.

You seem to hold sufficient wisdom to close threads where so called
illegal activity is happening by innocent people who do not even know
it is illegal and where one would rather need to put people in jail
who provide tools to implement the illegal activity. It is like you
point to the drug user in stead of the drug dealer. These are my last
words on XDA. I disappear and perhaps come back under different name
(this one and all names here are kind of fake anyway).

If it is legal or not depends on where you live. Plain and simple. Just because people don't know it's illegal doesn't protect them. It's called research. Something that should be done.
Also making another account is against xda rules and is a banable offence.

Medical app not compatible - is it potentially achievable for me to get it to work?

Hi,
I use continuous glucose monitoring to monitor my blood sugar, as I am a type 1 diabetic. The CGM I use uses Bluetooth to sync with an app (Medtronic's Guardian Connect app) and gives blood sugar data, safety alerts etc., but this app is only compatible with selected Android phones, which doesn't include any Oneplus phones. I really like the Oneplus 7t so I would rather not sell it if possible, so I was thinking of trying to make it compatible with the Oneplus and removing the phone model block. This has been done before with a different medical manufacturer's CGM app ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-7t/help/medical-app-compatibility-t4015519 ), so I think it should be possible. Given my lack of programming ability, I was wondering if there are resources anywhere that might help with learning how to do this? Obviously they're not going to tell me "This is how you make this specific app work", but I'm just hoping to find some general resources on this type of coding. I have searched around with no success as I am not sure where to look. I gather it would take more than simply changing the buildprop file to trick the app into thinking it's a compatible phone.
Thanks.
Would help to know the app and what issues you're having. Is it not showing up in the play store? Does it give an error?

Sorry, not sure how I managed to omit all those details. The app is Guardian Connect (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.medtronic.diabetes.guardianconnect&hl=en). I am able to download it, but when I open it it says "incompatible with your device", as it's only officially compatible with a limited subsection of Android phones (https://guardianconnect.medtronic-diabetes-mena.com/en_gb/app-compatibility). However, the Dexcom app that I linked in the first post also has limited compatibility, yet people have managed to get it to work with other android phones, so I'm cautiously optimistic that it will be possible for me to do the same.
I can't link URLs properly yet as I'm a new user, so I had to add those spaces in the links.

Yep, they weren't helpful at all though, unfortunately - they just gave a generic "keep an eye on the compatible device list" response. In the end I gave up and sold a Oneplus and got a Samsung.
Hi!
I just had contact with medtronic Belgium and they said; the more people call us the more 'problem cases' go to the IT'ers in America. So they mean how faster the problem will be solved so just give them a call

play.google.com
MiniMed™ Mobile - Apps on Google Play
Insulin pump display

Same error message as original post...
I am using an Asus ROG 5s Pro
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
Can't use unlocked bootloader or rooted phones for medical apps as less secure

https://apkpure.com/developer/Medtronic%2C%20Inc.
Here is the list of all Medtronic's apps. Download the APK, then select the file from your Downloads folder in the Files app.
You may be prompted about the app being from an unknown source or risk to your device. Ignore the warning, tap OK, yes, or allow if prompted.
Hope this helps and as the post above already said I would consider calling Medtronic customer service and asking them to make the app available to all phones.

Was actually hoping for a work around to use on phones that are not on the compatible list, i.e. for the app to not check for phone compatibility before starting.

I second this; rooted OnePlus 8 Pro running an A12 custom ROM
Personally I've actually come pretty close and was able to hide both Root and Developer Options from being detected using XPrivacyLua, but was unable to get MagiskProps working properly to get around the final "Your Phone is Incompatible" by spoofing as a Google Pixel (one of the primary "approved" devices) message, even after trying multiple older APKs combined with clearing data/cache

Thanks.
Actually the logic behind limiting the compatible devices boggles my mind because, other than replicating the screen of the insulin pump and sending data downloaded from the pump to health care providers, the app does not allow pump to accept commands from external devices. So I do not see what the concern is with allowing more devices to use the app...

There is no logic, just retarded medical industry bureaucracy BS.
I've contacted customer support multiple times and asked them the same question, only to get the same useless response of pretending to "pass on my feedback".
It's actually one of the reasons I wanna find out how to work around the problem even more; like who needs them to take proper control of a medical device that I own.
Would also be amazing to get a Wear OS app that displays the same or similar information to the app, but I don't see that being made by Medtronic for at least a decade.
