[ROM][STOCK][CWM]Galaxy S III(SPH-L710) MD7(Boost) Unrooted - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S III

***UPDATED*** Dialer(##3282#) and power off issue resolved. Download Link updated
This is the official, stock, right out of the box, Boost MD7 in a flashable zip. This will unroot your device, and take everything back to the way it was when you got it. This will not, however, install a modem. Click on this link for the out-of-the-box, 100%, back to stock, TAR http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=46366879#post46366879
Thanks:

Flashing Instructions:
This will NOT flash a modem. If you are coming from stock MD7, you will keep MD7. Same goes for whatever baseband you have right now!
1. Download zip to your sdcard
2. Reboot into CWM, TWRP, or other compatible recovery(I used CWM 6.0.3.1 Touch)
3. Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik
4. Flash zip
5. Reboot
6. Profit
Issues:
Issues:
1. When you go to power off, it freezes, vibrates twice, and reboots. Seems to be a bug with the power off option. ***FIXED***
2. The dialer won't go into ##3282# mode. This is a Boost variant, so changing your MMSC URL in order to get MMS isn't necessary, but just wanted to let those on other carriers know. No solution yet. ***FIXED***
I do not claim to be the expert on anything, especially development issues. If you notice issues, please let me know. And if you have a solution to one of the issues I've found, please, by all means, post it and you'll get the credit. Enjoy
Note: It seems when rebuilding this to fix the issues above, I've lost the "rising orange Bs" boot animation. There's still boot-up sound, and the blue Samsung animation, but no Boost-specific. If you want it, you can get it from the previous build If I get time, I'll add it back in manually, but frankly, I like not having it there, it seems to boot a little faster

That is correct. Just as GC01 was Boost's JB version of GB27 for the E4GT, this is Boost's version of Sprint's MD4. Exactly the same firmware, just built for the Boost Variant.

When I got this phone a couple weeks ago there was very little dev support for it(the Boost variant) That is why I built these and did it as a "devdb" project for that exact reason, to improve it as updates become available. Awesome that you are helping out. Would you mind sharing the official MG2 and I can lend a hand however I can.? Maybe root it., add busybox, deodex, debloat, etc

I am on boost mobile so I'm looking for a way to get the shutdown and bootup animation/logo and sound to boost not sprint....as of right now I have the sprint shutdown animation, and bootup just shows the swirly blue Samsung stuff. If I recall right with boost mobile, didn't the s3 come with a like orange 4g animation on bootup?
I'm not apposed to moving files where they need to be but I don't have any of the files so I will also need those.
Any help would be appreciated.

That's the file I flashed. It has the sprint shutdown animation/logo. I'm on boost mobile.
The name of the file I got from that link is called COMBINATION_L710VPAMD7_L710SPTAMD7_1154085_REV03_user_low_noship.tar.md5---Extract_with_7zip.7z
Extract the zip file, which is a tar file for odin
Open Odin
Connect the phone
The phone shows a com port
Select PDA slot and browse where that tar file is
Select start and it flashes, then reboots.
Unless I need to un-select auto reboot, then enter recovery and clear cache and such and factory reset.......but I thought that's what this did according to looking at the lines, it shows it formats data and clears cache.

This isn't 100 percent helpful but there is something that needs to be changed in the build.prop that will actually enable the proper file to be played I don't know which line it is but that's what I recall somebody saying way back when
Edit:
It's stock for multiple phones so it has all the files for all the phones... I think it's just that boost is not the default setting

Hmmm...MD7 is definitely not a Sprint rom. MD4 is. I'm not sure why it's giving you the Sprint logo. I'm out of ideas...I know I've flagged back to it. If I get time I'll tinker with it some, but crazy busy, so no promises.

Ok. That's cool. Let me know.
I'm ok with editing lines of need be, just need to know "what" lines to edit or delete. I've done assert lines before so I'm ok with editing, just may be like a kid and ask questions

4.3 has real bad issues with phone calls for whatever reason it's like it's muffled or the sound is extremely loud and distorted so I'm going back to 4.1.3. So that's why I'm after this project.
I don't mind editing it myself if it's not to awfully hard to do.
I have decompiled and edited apk's replaced icons that I personally wanted to used and re-compiled them for my personal use, so I'm not really scared or a stranger to stuff, just not sure where exactly to start or what file/files to play with, or even where said files are at, or what lines to edit.
Perhaps I could get some help with the file names, and then replace the lines with those file names so they line up correctly...if someone would care to semi-babysit with me .

It's easy to edit. Just a matter of finding the right line and knowing the right variable.
If you don't mind having a sprint boot animation ,then flash it and all will be perfect.

Well for me I don't mind, but returning it to boost, which will in turn send it to samsung......samsung knowing it's boost and it having a sprint logo, might have a bit of an issue with it and it would draw a red flag.
Otherwise I wouldn't even worry about it.
My hopes are that I will never have to worry about sending it in. This is more a "just in case" scenerio

[ROM][SPRINT] Zypher v1 - Suspended

3/3/2011 - I've been away for several weeks, sorry about that. I've also moved on and will be futzing with my shiny new Xoom. I will not be working on Tab projects for the immediate future, it at all.
Been fun
There seems to be a genuine lack of activity on the Sprint version of the Tab. Hopefully this will allow folks to start making themes and ROM's for the Sprint flavor of the tablet.
This package was created via the "Rotobackup" Method pioneered by Rotohammer and maniac3389.
As far as I can tell, I'm the only one who has done this on the Sprint-flavor of the Tab, so this is all beta and VERY RISKY. I do not recommend using this unless you are VERY familiar with flashing Android devices.
NOTE: This is ALMOST STOCK. The Rotobackup process did not dump the modem.bin file properly. To address this, I used the modem from the Epic 4G (SPH-D700-DK28-8Gb-REL). This modem effectively disables GPS. There is no known fix yet.
Updates:
12/13/2010 - Looks like the package borks GPS. You cannot acquire satellites after flashing.
12/29/2010 - GPS is still broke if you use the package containing the modem. Looks like we will need to wait until an update is released. Feel free to keep troubleshooting the issue, I'll update the OP if somebody figures it out.
12/29/2010 - Uploaded package WITHOUT the modem
12/29/2010 - Introduced Zypher, a fully deodexed updater.
WARNING!!! YOU CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE VERY EASILY.
THESE ARE FOR SPRINT VERSIONS OF THE TAB.
Instructions:
Backup your settings with Titanium Backup
Do a factory reset: Settings>Privacy>Factory Data Reset
Turn on USB debugging: Settings>Applications>Development>USB debugging
Extract the RAR archive
Open "Odin3 v1.31.exe"
Reboot into Download Mode (adb reboot download)
Do not check Re-Partition option
Click PIT, select pit.pit
Click PDA, Select .tar file
Click Start
Downloads
Download 1 - Stock, no modem - Sprint Only! Use this if you want to get back to stock (rooted). ALL USERS SHOULD TRY THIS PACKAGE FIRST! If you still have problems, then you need to use the modem package which kills GPS (Download 2).
Download 2 - Stock, with modem - Sprint Only! Includes modem from Epic 4G - Only use if your Tab will not boot, this package will kill GPS
THERE IS NO WAY TO GET THE STOCK MODEM BACK AFTER YOU FLASH!!
Download Zypher v1 - Sprint Only! Deodexed\zipaligned. I recommend running a factory reset before applying the package. Settings>Privacy>Factory Data Reset
Zypher Details:
Based off DJ30
Deodexed and zip aligned
Removed startup/shutdown sounds
Added Busybox installer
Added Titanium Backup
Added Z4Root
Added AD-Free hosts file
To do list:
Work in the full screen fix (via Spareparts)
Replace launcher with LauncherPro
Theme everything
Nice work, not that Sprint would allow it, but did this enable dialer functions since it is using an alternate modem file?
Awesome, thanks!
Now who's got a busted Tab to try this on!
Not sure if this is any help, but here's a system dump someone posted....
http://forum.androidcentral.com/galaxy-tab/44323-us-galaxy-tab-sprint-system-dump.html
Dunno. There is no dialer installed and it gives the standard engrish statement "Cannot make or take a call using Galaxy Tab"
I did some comparisons between the sprint tab and the epic, and the modems are identical. I just flashed this and it worked flawlessly.
Thanks again man I appreciate it. You have ressurected my tab.
Wow, maybe I can finally root

Excellent, glad it worked for you.
Nevermind.
I am going to try this now... I had terminal emulator crash on me and it messed up the filesystem or something. My Sprint Galaxy Tablet just says "Samsung" and glows after the intro animation.
I did manage to get the tablet into downloading mode by:
1) turning tablet off
2) holding Volume UP key and power key at the same time until it turns on
and I get little android man with a shovel that says "Downloading... Do not turn off Target!!!"
wish me luck
Why dont you just wipe it and see if that works first?

how would I do that? It won't actually boot up.. Just shows the samsung into screen and says on a screen that has samsung glowing. It will blink after a while and vibrate, then go back to glowing at me.
HOLY CRAP that worked!!!!! I was just about to give up! Notice the many hours between my last post and now.. (6:50am now LOL)
I had to do some other things not outlined in this thread to get my computer to see the Galaxy Tablet in the Device Manager. Basically I tried these things, (try them all if you have trouble, I'm not sure what or which actually worked):
tried to wipe from boot up (turn off, hold volume up and power until it turns on and release buttons)
that didn't work
install Kies and Samsung(android) SDK and JDK (java developer kit)
that didn't seem to work
install Samsung PC Studio 7
ah hah! I see you there in the device manager now!
power tablet off and get to download menu (hold volume down and power until you see the android holding a shovel at the download menu)
Load up Odin, YAY It connects and detects the COM!!
Select the PIT and TAR, start, it downloads and reboots and tab loaded right up!!
Best of all I think it also got rid of the Sprint Activation nag notice screen. It hasn't popped up yet and it has been a good 10 min or so! That would be a nice bonus
You saved me so much time and $$ thanks a TON!!
((side note, Odin loads up and displays GT-1000 not my SPH-P100... I edited my odin.ini to reflect the correct model. not a big deal at all, but I was getting confused at first as to why Odin was saying wrong model, thinking it was doing a detection when it was really just blindly echoing info from the ini file))
Good stuff.
You'd think Sprint would want to leak the firmware to keep people from exchanging/RMA'ing devices. One thing is certain with Android, people will hack the hell out of it.
My bad on the label. The top title in Odin is just that, a title. It doesn't doesn't affect the reload process at all. I'd change it, but uploading another 200MB file isn't on my list of activities today

Same thing happened to me this morning as ManaKill described...I had terminal emulator crash on me and it messed up the filesystem or something. My Sprint Galaxy Tablet endlessly glowed "Samsung" after the intro animation - thought I was DONE. Tried wiping but no go. I followed ZoinksS2K directions and it worked flawlessly just as infamousjax described. Thank you!!! No telling how many Tabs have been ressurected thanks to this post.

[ROM][STOCK][FROYO] EC03 Froyo Update

Here is the update that everyone has been waiting for At the moment, I'm only providing the modem, and rooted, stock, deodexed version of the ROM. There will be a cleaned up version to go along with all of this in due time, but we're currently working out some problems with it. I would like to note that despite this being the Froyo update, it is not without its own set of problems, and odds are you may never see another update outside of this from anywhere. However, the benefits of getting Froyo will outweigh the problems with it for most people, so have at it.
You will need a few things to get this, first, the downloads list here will be needed (obviously). You'll also need to have CWM setup and know how to use Odin. Heimdall will also work for those of you not on Windows, but I'm not providing any instructions for flashing using Heimdall. Also note that you will want to wipe data or perform a factory reset before booting into Froyo to avoid any problems. While you may get away with not doing it, you could end up with several problems, so my recommendation is to wipe data. Also, you can flash the ROM first, or flash the modem first, which ever you want to do. There isn't really a required order for it, as long as you do both parts.
[size=+1]Instructions[/size]
Download everything you need.

CWM update.zip
Put the ROM zip and CWM update.zip on your SD Card

FAQ
How can I donate to you for this?
You can either click the "Donate to me" button above my avatar, or go through this link. Don't feel obligated to donate though, as Verizon should have given this to you (the users) long ago.
Can I still receive updates after flashing this?
You cannot receive updates after flashing this unless you revert back to DL17, which is the latest official software released by Verizon and Samsung.
If I can receive updates on this, how can I restore back to DL17?
I've been sending this to several people already that have had problems with their phones. If you need to revert back to DL17 for any reason, download this. You will need 7-zip or similar to extract it. Once you have the .tar.md5 file, flash it in Odin via PDA like you did for flashing the modem to get Froyo.
Can I return my phone to Verizon for warranty repair/service with this on my phone?
No. If you need any sort of help with your phone from Verizon, you will need to have the stock DL17 ROM on your phone. Anything else and you have voided your warranty and Verizon and/or Samsung will not have to do anything to help you. See the above question for a package to restore your phone to the latest stock software.
Are there any bugs in this release?
Yes there are, just as there is with any software. I do not know what the bugs are though off hand though as I have not been using this update. I also cannot say whether any of the problems you may have will ever get fixed, seeing as you can't even get a straight answer on why the update has been taking so long.
Is xxx modification/theme compatible with this?
Odds are that it isn't. All of the current themes and modifications for DL17 will not work on this package. They will all need to be updated to be able to work. Given that this is a relatively new release, this could take some time, especially given that it is the summer and people are on vacation (I'm looking at you trailblazer ). We will work though to try and get all of the mods ported from DL17 to EC03 so that you don't have to give up anything to upgrade.
Will you release a "clean ROM" based on this?
Yes, and it is already in progress. I have sent it out to a couple people already to ask for feedback and any issues. Once they say it is ok, I'll create a new thread with the cleaned up version. There is currently no ETA on when it will be released though.
Are there any other kernels I can use with this besides the one that comes with it?
At the moment, there isn't. I'm trying to get a custom kernel to work, but it has some problems. At the very least, we can customize the stock kernel some, but I do not know if a full source built kernel will ever be available.
Can I flash this if I am on the voodoo kernel?
No, if you are running the voodoo lagfix kernel, you will want to disable voodoo prior to doing anything. If you don't, you'll be in for some fun times with Odin getting your phone back in a usable state.
Can I get something included in the FAQ?
Yes you can. Just create a post with the following template, and I'll try to keep the FAQ updated. If I don't see it or add it right away, don't worry, I'll try and update it. If it has been a week or two and I still haven't responded, just send me a message with a link to what you want included. Here is the format to use:

[Q] Updated PRL, now I have no signal. (Boost)

Ok, I will start from the beginning of this debauchery.
I recently moved to a new state (Tennessee to be exact). I had 4 bars, and had great phone reception. Incoming and outgoing calls with absolutely no problems, but the web wouldn't load at all.
I am about 1 hour away from another time-zone and my phone kept changing its time, which caused my alarm to not go off and I have been late for work 4 times in the past 2 weeks because of this. This was the main reason I updated my PRL, as I thought it might fix this issue.
So, after updating it, I now have absolutely no signal. I might get a smidge of signal after walking around the house for 10 minutes, only to receive texts and maybe a voicemail if I am lucky. (I would call Boost, but I have no phone to use since this happened)
I am a total noob when it comes to android, this is my first android so please explain like I am five years old.
The phone is rooted, but only because I found a pretty easy to follow step-by-step guide.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

Sorry for the late reply, I have been pretty busy with the move.
My phone is Fi22, and I am using this kernel-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1767421
and I don't remember installing any custom ROM (Mainly because I couldn't find any that interested me that were compatible)
I do have a recovery (clockworkmod) but the last backup is to basically factory settings. And I don't want to do that unless absolutely necessary, and I have a feeling it might not fix the issue even if I do this.
I called Boost from work, and sat on the phone for 2 hours. They had me do ##72786#. Then they told me to drive around my house until I found a spot with full bars and then update the PRL and profile and it would "drag" the signal to my house.
So I did this, and the closest place was about a mile and a half to two miles out.
Sadly, this didn't fix it.
I am still about 3 months away from my deductible on the insurance that I pay, so breaking the phone and getting a new free one is not possible.

And I don't want to do that unless absolutely necessary.
I called Boost from work, and sat on the phone for 2 hours. They had me do ##72786# and do all that mumbo jumbo.

OK..from the link you gave..( a kernel update page )..I'm assuming you are on stock touch wiz with a custom kernel and cwm/agats recovery..good. Now I believe from what I read the kernel is based on modem fi27.That is a pretty new modem, the newest for ICS is fl24.. If I was you I would grab the fi27 and fl24 modems from rwilcos repository ( in zip format ) and flash one or the other, update you're PRL and profile and see which gives the best signal..This is not a direct science, you may have to try many different modems to find what works best in this new area..just be sure they are ICS modems..or you will not have data..If you need advice on how to flash a modem you can hit me back up..But its simple and there are a ton of guides around,as well as a guide in rwilcos repository page. Here is a link to the repo.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1764210 ...just scroll down to ICS modems (zip) and click on it..It will take you to a page with the downloads....Hope this was helpful. And don't forget to thank rwilco.. He does amazing things for this phone and forum..Good Luck

After flashing to Fi27, FL24, Fi25, Fi03, and FH23 nothing has changed (Fi25 and FH23 wouldn't even boot). I even tried clearing the data and updating PRL/profile.
Sadly, I am stuck with 1 bar in a 1'x1' area in my home.

Well..you didn't need to clear the data..Just clear cache and dalvik cache( under advanced ). Then reboot and update prl and profile.. This order for each modem you flash. But if you did this and still no service I'm afraid it is probably a location problem. You might look into putting a custom prl in..this will allow you to roam on different carriers. I have never tried it as I have good service in the windy city. But there are quite a few threads about it..seems always sprint people doing it. By the way..if you're on boost..I thought I seen that you are... You could try a boost modem..not sure how it would mesh with custom kernel..couldn't hurt though to try. Let me know. I'll dig around and see if I can come up with anything else.

Think I might of found something..read through it. Looks promising. I would think it would work for our boost phones since we really are sprint customers.. http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=231596 ...also check to see what you're roaming settings are set for in your phone. I have mine set to roam when ever..unlimited plan and I plan on holding them to it..lol

I just re-read you're op to see if I missed any info..I see that the web wouldn't load ..you know it might be that kernel...if I was you I would flash a stock kernel with Mobil Odin lite ( apk in xda somewhere, just search it ) You need the kernel to be in TAR Format for mobile Odin...Make sure its for boost and not sprint.. I believe this is where we messed up. You see. When you flashed that kernel before it was fine, but when you did the update it gave you a sprint prl. Now you have a sprint prl on stock boost ROM and a custom kernel built for a stock sprint ROM..See where I'm going with this.. Actually..if I was you I would down load a touch wiz ROM from the android development thread..make sure its ICS because you're not set up yet for jb..the blue Kuban ICS is awesome..follow the op in that thread to flash..I use Mobil Odin and the direct boot el29 kernel to flash Roms. If you want to go this route hit me back and I will post a step by step guide for you..
---------- Post added at 03:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:58 AM ----------
. THIS IS FOR THE BLUE KUBAN ICS FL24
step one - download ROM , format all x 2 , fl24 modem , direct boot el29 kernel ..... Place on internel storage/root of sdcard
two. - install mobile Odin( lite or paid version ) lite version can be found http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1347899
three. - use mobile Odin to flash direct boot kernel. It will boot to recovery on its own.
four. - push volume up , volume down , volume up ....this will enable the power button to select you're choices.
five. - wipe data , wipe cache , wipe dalvik cache
six. - flash format all x 2 zip
seven. - flash ROM..reboot..( el29 will not flash modems ) so flash it before hand or after the Kuban boots up..
.... You will need to flash a MMS fix zip for boost to get you MMS working after this or go into apn 's and change them manually..I can tell you how if you decide on this route..

I'm sorry...yes it is a gingerbread kernel..We couldn't flash from ICS back in the day, unless its a safe version like what you have now.. The emmc brick bug will brick you're device..So they made the el29 and el26 kernels for flashing. Most new kernels for ICS are safe now, unless specified in that kernels thread. And like I said..flash the modem now because el 29 will not flash modems. Let the ROM boot and chill for awhile before you flash anything else(if you decide too)..you can update you're prl as soon as the ROM boots.. If this doesn't get you home I'm afraid a custom prl is the next step..Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.. Let me know how it goes..

Can't find the zip..must be on home computer..I'm at work..,but
You can use the msl way, which involves a terminal emulator and the dialer code ##data# or you can use an APN shortcut app from play store or even Nova launcher.I use nova launcher because its the launcher I use anyway.. Long press the screen and pick shortcuts then activities. Scroll to settings any pick it. Then scroll down to APN..pick it. Back at home screen pick new shortcut..when APN screen pops up hit menu and pick add new APN. Then put in what I have in screen shots..save APN pick the circle beside new APN so its lit up and exit.send one to you're self to jump start it and make sure its working..Let me know if you have trouble.. I'm about to leave work and can give you a better guide in an hour,if you can't find anything else online..might need to do a reboot for it to work.

OK I'm home..let's fix you're MMS..The zip I have is for asop roms, so nogo there and some ROMs won't let you edit apns in list..So I believe this is the way to go...First you need you're msl number..you can get it by typing '' su '' into a terminal emulator,no quotations. Then hit enter. Next type '' getprop ril.MSL '' just how it looks, no quotations. This should give you a 6 digit number. If it doesn't you can go the dialer and type ##data# then click edit and enter any 6 digit number. It will give you an error. This is OK. Now go back to terminal emulator and repeat above steps. If none of this works..call boost. They will eventually give it to you. After you get the msl..go back to you're dialer and put the code back in(##data#). Click edit and enter msl. Then scroll down and click on others. Then click mmsc url and click on the url.. Then edit it '' http://myboostmobile.com '' hit OK..and exit this screen. Now send one to yourself..should work..

Reboot you're phone..also remember that this phone uses mobile data to send MMS..so with you're weak signal it might take awhile..you could use you're WiFi just to see if its working. And I think you will need to go into you're APN settings and pick the circle on the right of listed APN.It will probably say sprint but that doesn't matter. Then reboot..Sorry man, my brain is not working today. I should have told you that earlier.

I actually did that, but what fixed this for me was that in the paragraph you wrote "http://myboostmobile.com" (which I used). In the picture, yours said "http://mm.myboostmobile.com" and switching to that seemed to fix it after I rebooted again. Ok, so atleast im back to square one now lol.
But I do have this nice rom now, and Nova is awesome.

Yeah what he said. And unfortunately I don't think there is one I was trying to find a link. It really does matter what carrier you have when you're rooting flashing ROMs ect.

Sch-s960L help!!
It seems that there are a number of Straight Talk users who didn't bother to read before flashing. Many have asked but so far it doesn't look like anyone has volunteered the stock firmware.
However, I saw a few forum posts stating that SlimBean worked for them. Might as well try it, nothing to lose at this point.
what is this and how do I use it
I am not sure who but somebody from this forums sent me this file com.android.vending-423.apk. Who ever it was thank I am sure you were trying to help. However I don't know what to do with it. I cant nothing shows on my screen to download a converter off playstore so it hasn't helped but thanks anyway. if somebody could convert it for me I would be grateful. if in fact it is meant for my phone.
That's an apk for the playstore, click it and it installs. It will do absolutely nothing to fix your brick.

[ROM|Stockish|NO KNOX] 7/17/15 Sprint TouchWiz Lollipop 5.0.1 (N910PVPU3BOF5)

Here's a Stockish ROM for your N910P. This ROM has Knox, Sprint ItsOn, and automatic Sprint software downloads (first boot) removed only. Nothing else was done to this ROM. I'm new to the Note 4 so I may upload patches to remove any other traces of Knox or ItsOn or optimizations I happen to find while making my own ROM.
Prereq: OF5 Baseband. Download it below.
Odex:
Download
MD5: f6bf297e08ae830d4d63811907d22cb8
DeOdex:
Uploading..
MD5: f7096efb8f0cbc19083ce8b603cad79e
OF5 Baseband:
Download
[size=+3]DeOdex note:[/size]
The first boot time for this DeOdex ROM is very long. Approximately 5-8 minutes. Your phone will get hot as the splash screen remains on the yellow Sprint boot animation. I recommend keeping your phone in a cool environment while this is happening. The heat, if not properly checked, can make boot times even longer as the system throttles speed in order to deal with the heat. This doesn't happen on the Odex version.

I could include a TWRP flashable, but I'm not sure if the baseband even applies from a recovery flash. I've seen some devs include basebands in their ROM packages, but I have yet to see any evidence of a baseband flash being successful from recovery on either the Note 3 or Note 4. But if you want to try it out, I will do it.

@freeza, very nice to see you join us here at the Note 4. I've always appreciated the time and effort you put into your stellar Roms. Cannot wait to see where this will go!
Does the new baseband give u better reception
Awesome! Just in time. Had to take my phone in to Sprint to have battery/usb port replaced. Took about an hour and half and when they gave me my phone back, the home button was flush if not under the screen glass. I told the guy that this was not how I bought the phone or how it was when I brought it in. He said "let me go back and see if I can push the screen down some more"? about 2 minutes later the manager comes out and walks over to the Samsung displays and...yep the home button IS above the glass. I watch her go behind the counter asking the other sales people if they have anymore black note 4's. Nope...so they tell me I will be getting a new Note 4 shipped to my house on Tuesday. So if it has the OF5 already on it...this will be my first ROM! And they took off my Zagg glass screen protector, so I have to pay s/h for a new one. Funny thing is when I got home I took the phone apart myself and fixed the home button!
Sorry for off topic but saw this posted and was relieved. So, thanks freeza for this.
And yes my phone was rooted when I took it in and they never questioned it.
