What phone do you not have nitro? seriously. You end up with something on every new phone on VZW it seems like. Anyway, welcome to the HTC One.

Nice a "custom" GPE ROM. I haven't flashed your ROM to see yet to tell if this is a feature or not, but would you be able to add a battery percentage similar to Cyanogen?

I'm sure I already know the answer to this but we DO have to flash gapps for this right? Or did you already include them?
EDIT: NVM. Just flashed the ROM by itself and the apps are there. Thanks for this! I've been waiting for a good GE port. I had issues with the first GPE port. This one so far has extra buttery goodness. The setup was lightning fast. Data and wifi are up. GPS lock is functional. Good work man!

Will this have the Sense camera and features?
Thanks for all your work. :good:

The sense camera works but the sense gallery does not. So after you take a pic with the sense camera you cannot click on the mini-preview to view the pic you just took.

Great Thanks

Mod request:
Can you get rid of the 3 dot menu bar? Thank you so much for your work.

nitroglycerine33 any chance you will do a ASOP 4.3 build for the HTC One like you did for the GS4? I had that Rom on my old S4 an loved it. By far the best stockish ROM for the S4 :good:

Okay I've looked all over and I can't find the check box to display battery percentage. I thought it'd be in Dev options and its not. Where is it hiding?

Work in Progress
Before you go any further, 4.2 still has a quite a few bugs that need to be resolved by Google.
Please make sure you have backups for anything you don't want to lose.
Google apps are not official, this is a community hack, we have tested all apps but you could still encounter issues.
This is still a work in progress. we are working hard to tame 4.2, which brought significant changes and bugs.
Do not ask about CyanogenMod features. We will add more features in version 3.x, when we have a 100% stable base.
Installation
Update your recovery to the latest version. Pre 4.2 recoveries can mess up your sd card/storage. We recommend TWRP.
Download pa google apps: http://d-h.st/Do8 Updated 15-JUL-2013
Download rom: http://d-h.st/N7z Updated 18-JUL-2013
Follow PA on Google+ for changes and other info
Perform a factory reset in recovery, unless you are already on PA 2.99+
Flash ROM first, then gapps
Wipe dalvik & cache
Reboot and wait, first bootup can take up to 5 minutes, it will also restart once
Enter your Google account info, press home when you encounter the black screen
After the quirky bootup (thanks to aosp) is over, the rom should work normally
Do not restore system apps, system data and Google apps. This can cause bootloops and other problems due to mismatches from CM to AOSP and Android version 4.1.2 to 4.2.x
Previous jellybean versions: toroplus
Features
Hybrid engine ported, Per App DPI and Per App Layout
Tablet UI back from the dead
Per app color
Quicksettings -> Quicktoggles (first draft, more to follow)
New recents implementation
We fixed the aosp lag in the recents view, well, most of it
New SystemUI Icons that can cope with transparent bars, thanks go to John Xionidis
See through Lockscreen is back
Transparent bars + Launcher2 modified to cope with it
4.2 Walls and Sounds
Google stock apps
Extended Desktop
PER-APP-DPI/LAYOUT
This is not tablet mode! Hybrid engine allows you to target apps individually. You get to pick their actual layouts which can tranform content drastically. Keep in mind, this has nothing to do with build.prop hacks or DPI changes. We list all layouts an app brings, you choose one, its as easy as that. It does not matter if your device runs itself in Phone-, Phablet or Tablet-UI, your apps will always look as you like. On top of that you can scale apps, to fit your screen, that way you can even bring full fledged tablet apps and make them run perfectly. Nothing will break, nothing will shrink, your market will be fine. Additionally we have rewritten many parts of the android framework and fixed countless of AOSP bugs to make way for these modifications - our "tablet mode" runs better on a phone than on a real tablet, that is guaranteed.
PER-APP-COLOR
ParanoidAndroid's newest invention. Define apps in your regular hybrid panel. See your phone fade into the color definition of your current app, press home or go elsewhere and it fades back. Create as many combinations you like, you can even dabble with opacity. This feature is made possible by our hybrid engine, which is unique to this rom.

New option: "large" to trick an app thinking the device has a real big screen. some need it, like amazon kindle to jump into tabUI. some even react on it, gdrive will slightly adapt its layout - makes only sense if you give it a small dpi though.
The algorithm to extract the actual layout containers from apk files works more precise and can reveal more than before. there will still be a few apps left who do that layout stuff in java - we will add an override button for that, but in the meantime you can edit /system/etc/paranoid/properties.conf .layout=360 for phone-like UI, 600 for phablet, 720 = tablet, 1280 = super huge tablet

You know what annoys me about this ROM? All the customizability! I am spending a lot of time getting everything where I like it and I love it. Noticed on other ROMs that allow me to hide the nav buttons that most games would screw up their orientation when I did hide the nav buttons so it was largely an unusable feature. But not on Paranoid! Really nice to play Max Payne is FULL full screen And again, thanks for sticking with the CM kernel.
EDIT: Only feature I yearn for is the ability to disable lock screen rotation.
Nice, getting this now. This is a great rom.

Hybrid.
Anyone know how to scale the lock screen? A couple of my shortcuts are cut off at the bottom. Its not a huge deal, only cosmetic but I'd like to get it right if I could.
Edit...
Nevermind, I figured it out. I just needed to adjust the framework dpi.

This is for the VZW Galaxy Nexus. I believe there is a different build for the Sprint Galaxy Nexus (which is also CDMA).
As of right now, no fix should be needed for 1.3. 1.2 only had a (simple) fix because the default DPI was set incorrectly.

As of now, the only 4.4 items are visual changes, like the phone icon and the app drawer menu button. As more leaks, it will get added to the ROM.

this looks like a good rom!!
I would have based it off slimrom and not have included gapps (license issue), but regardless looks very nice. I like the beauty mixed with simplicity
Great job!

Love it!
Love this ROM! It's exactly what I've been looking for, smooth, fast, reliable, simple, but with all of the features that I like, so I don't have to jump back a year in development.
The only definite issue I've encountered was that after having it on for 5 or 6 hours, I picked it up to use it and it was CLUNKING, wouldn't speed up until I rebooted. After that and since, it's been fine. It may be because I hadn't rebooted since installing apps? All I can think of, but I'm no expert.
The only other thing that is needed to make this ROM perfect for me until I upgrade my phone would be the torch app(I went to use this in the middle of a forest last night while walking home, only to find that the torch app doesn't come with the ROM,) and the option to put the clock in the center of the status bar. Two small things, but I don't think the clock code will be large, and the default torch app is the only one I know of that works with the quick settings toggle tile.
Thanks so much for making this kick ass ROM! This device is desperately in need of something stable and reliable that still provides a current-gen UI experience. Too many ROMs that all try to include the kitchen sink and never get those small issues cleared up.
Any devs know why my framework-res would be causing my phone to not boot. I decompiled without errors, changed a few color codes, recompiled without errors, signed, zipaligned, added to my working folder, then build my ROM, but it refuses to boot, and its only the framework-res causing the issue. Is the current apktool compatible with 4.3? Thanks for any help.
Also, does anyone know where the hell the circle battery pngs are in CM 10.2? I've torn apart almost every APK and can't find those damn things, lol.

Deleting these two files then rebooting:
system/bin/mpdecision and sytem/bin/thermald
May help with the slowing issue. I should have removed them before releasing, but didn't.

[ROM][STOCK]|Jan 22| Energy™ -.¸¸.·´¯ Inverted|Tweaked / Official Base! ¯´·.¸¸. -

Welcome to the "Energy" ROM thread !
This development thread is the home of my "EnergyROM" custom firmware series for the LG G2 for Tmobile. Here you will find ROMs that I have created for this device over time. My main goal when putting a ROM together is stability. A second goal would be a good, professional look.
I build my ROMs with four main goals.
Stability through private beta testing before public release
Eye candy ( I want my ROM to look great and for it to all flow together nicely)
Speed !!!
Smoothness, consistency and good aesthetics
I preconfigure a lot of things in my ROM, because when I flash it on my phone, I want it ready to go.
Now on to the good stuff...
(You can stay up to date on the status of my ROM development by "following" me on Twitter)
How to Flash this ROM:
- Root your device
- Install TWRP or some other recovery (I recommend the version found here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2469995)
- Install the downloaded ROM .zip found in post #2

I'm using the stock kernel from 10f rom
I've downloaded it from some link in a thread either from letschky's or..I forgot.
Here is the link, I've uploaded it. https://app.box.com/s/gkowjmp892h8mk1y40kt <- 10f kernel (d802)
furnace thread -> thread , d802 isn't in the thread name (any more).
So whoever flashes the rom should flash either the stock kernel or MR lewarne's kernel which is also pretty good.

Nitro,
It's so good to see you. I have been looking on your Elemental X thread & now you are here on XDA. Man I have been with you since the GNex. I always thought your ROM's were SICK. Just letting you know this latest build is bada$$...
Thank you so much for making the Galaxy Note 3 be everything it is on TouchWiz but with REAL AOSP insides, not a AOSP masking.
I am & have been a real happy camper since you dropped Eclipse on the Note 3.

Nitro's ROM is different. It's AOSP insides not a theme. Check it out & see the differences yourself. Technically it's TouchWiz but with none of the TouchWiz BS. It's really more of an AOSP ROM than anything else...
Play with it & you will see. For the Verizon Note 3 users this is the closest you will EVER be to true AOSP without the bootloader being unlocked that is.
Dev users have the best of BOTH TouchWiz ROM's & PURE AOSP ROM's.

I am not part of alliance and I do more of an AOSP replacement while the Alliance guys can give you every TW mod you can think of. I just like a nice clean AOSP approach. The Alliance guys do awesome work if you have ventured into the other phone threads on XDA.
