Should we use this if we use your EQDKP v4.9 rom?
Thanks for the effort
Sure you can.
Thanks bro,
Everything works great at 825-200Mhz (smartass) on stock ROM
can you make a boot.img for me so i can put it in my rom XD

I think smartassV2 and noop is the best setting for this kernel, but if you want max performance, you must try other settings by your own
i have created already thank you, i had change the script to extract boot.img to another folder and so there it is.
Thank you for the great kernel.

So, is the redundant file (the one we are supposed to delete) located in the exact path:
Code:
system/etc/init.d
Is it enough to delete the file called 03performance or we should remove something else too?
Very nooby questions, I know, but please forgive my ignorance
only this 03performance
Flashed it on EQDKP Sense 3.5 - GB2.3.5 idogx base - OC Kernel [m1ndh4x8r mod] and my antutu score went down by about 60 points ( the difference was mainly in SD card read/write score ). Can you compare the two kernel and check this.
EDIT
What do you mean by this
Remove script any cpu clock, governor, scheduler changers in init.d folder

einstein.frat, in my case it was 88performance.
Kernel running great at 200-806, ondemand/noop.
If I use smartassV2, launcher (rosie - all versions including Rhyme) force closes once in a while. Already happened on EQDKP 4.9 with original kernel which I've been testing these days.
First Sense 3.5 ROM that's worth using. No stupid text messages, not having to use OLD Facebook app, etc. Congrats for this great partnership. EQDKP 4.9 + Dust 8.8 rules!

Hellnoob, find /etc/init.d folder and inside it search for a script that mentions cpu clock, governor and scheduler (open as text files to read) and delete it before flashing. In my case the script was called 88performance.
Then you adjust min-max speed in NoFrills. It's easy.

This is a work in progress...
I am not responsible if you flash this and your device gets bricked or anything happens to your device from flashing this.

Instructions:
1. !!!MAKE A BACKUP!!!
2. Flash the kernel.
3. Wipe cache / Dalvik
4. Enjoy and post results!
This is a OC/UC/UV enabled kernel, build from TMO Samsung JB(4.1) Source. Am just learning the basics and this is my first job! Hope you like and enjoy!!
Note: My desire is stock reliability with oc/uc/uv benefits. This kernel wont have all the bells and whistles, my goal is a daily driver beast. Enjoy and hit thanks if you like!
Tested on: FrostyJB v9
Everything i tested work(i did used samsungs source...)
*** C H A N G E L O G
v1.1c(optional)
Same as v1.1b
Doesn't remove KT's apps (but keeps the tweak so you don't have to re-flash full rom)
v1.1b
Fixed uv table
Added missing 192 step in some freq tables
v1.1
Added more UC steps (192, don't know how to limit cpu on bootup, adding 2.1 wont let me boot)
Insecure image
Added Governors (pegasusq, interactive, smartassv2...etc)
Added Schedulers (sio, vr)
Added read-ahead (1024kb)
GPU OC (480Mhz)
Higher L2 per freq step
Don't have to flash rom coming from KT's (djintrigue808 zip tweak)

Note: Am just a regular Joe, not a programmer or developer, i read KT's source and added by try and error(by myselft) what is working on this kernel because at that time there was no other stock based kernel with OC and i guess no one was working on one and that's what i wanted, it worked so i decided to share it on the place from i have taken so much. I hope you enjoy!!

Wow, many Settings in KTweaker lol
One thing, it's set to Max 1500 MHz but shouldn't that be somewhere around 1900?
ELM Agent is force closing all the time, not important as I have no idea what it does, just reporting.
Will use this with standard settings for now.
Greetings
Thomas

Several Functions in KTweak are not working, like i.e. Thermal Control, also, there are only a few Govs/Schedulers.
Added logs for you, hope that will help.
Once again, thanks for this!

No.
I restored the stock Kernel, System became very unresponsive and started stuttering. Only things running where XDA and Root Browser.
Sorry, I need the phone as a phone for now, so no more testing for now

Nothing in KTweaker will work, this was a test to make sure source code from Samsung was accurate. I will have a release very soon with 95% of KT stuff in it then you can use the app

Don't start this already. Once the links are dropped make a back up and flash it.
If you can't be arsed to flash the build then you don't care enough to know.

as far as i know this issue hasn't been fixed yet , however the author didn't add any buglist so it was just a question if you don't know the answer or you don't want to answer it you can just act as you didnt' even see it

Ha! Yea he basically goes on every trail and whines about the same stuff. It used to be entertaining but now I don't even have to see who wrote it. We know. Clogs up trails more than "inappropriately questions".
Anyway great to see continued new development for multiple variants for the G2. Thank you!
Sorry if this is a dumb question but what is this based off ?
