Power bank - tips and recommendation - Xperia Z1 Accessories

Hi guys,
My previous phone was with accessible battery and I had a spear battery for emergency situations.
Now with Z1 is more differently and I need power bank.
If any of you have experience with them, can you please share some tips or recommend a power bank that is good.
Thank you!

You can take a look at RavPower 14000mAh at Amazon. It has 2 ports that can charge both your phone and Z1 at the same time.
The capacity also fulfills your needs. For the price, it's simply less than $45. I've got one and used for a few months, love it.

Thank you for your answer, but I don't like the power jacket :/
It only can charge my phone and it's with small capacity.

dont know about their phone batteries but as a company on a whole i recommend their service. the laptop battery is better than my original dell, charges faster and lasts longer, hope that helps you get an idea of them as a whole. i should imagine they'd have the same type of quality throughout their range of products

Very curious, submit your review please!
My experience with Anker is not the pleasant one.. but i might reconsider and give them a second chance.

Yea I received it. So far so good no complaints. Its a life saver when I'm out n about for work and the phones about to die. Takes a while to recharge the Anker but would expect it for such a big battery. I would recommend this to others that r looking for a portable charger.

Looks interesting... I am looking for something similar that:
- Will charge the phone (not just hold it up) as well as the extra battery.
- Will work with a case on the phone.
Usual suspects EBay Amazon etc .

I've got a very thin case so I'm hoping my phone will sit in it with the case on, and I can charge at my desk in landscape.
I'll follow up once I get it.
Got this today, its sweet. My phone sits in it with the case on, and the extra battery charges quick. Its small enough to take with you too.
Much better than a bulky extended battery

[Q] My battery is broken, right? [SCREENSHOTS]

Take a look at these screenshots.
My battery is f*cked, right?
Looks like it's broken, I had the same issues with my previous battery.
Yep, its dead. I had exactly the same... Got me a mugen power battery, and my phone is as new now it takes a week or 2 before u get it, but its well worth the wait and u get a 1600mah instead of the stock 1400mah, with the same dimensions. Not like the bigger, extended 3200mah battery, where you need a new back cover. Check it out

Thanks!

Would you agree it'll be better than my BROKEN stock battery? -_-
It is better as ur broken battery, dont worry. As for the 85% problem, i noticed that too. Phone at 5% batt with 3,7v remaining when it should shut down at 3,2v. But i use the nexus one batt calibrator's learn function to give my phone additional amps when needed, as long as i have enough voltage fcourse. That way i can use full potentional of the battery until i take the time to find a better solution to properly calibrate the mugen battery

Speaking of that app, I have no clue how to use it. Probably no use with my broken battery anyway, but regardless, how does it work exactly?
A new original HTC batery will only cost you €15,-, so I should go for an original one

Welcome to the mobile world.
My guess is that recharge as fast as a laptop battery, although they have power sources and disipate more heat, as a down side

I personally prefer Anker battery packs as they are decently priced and I have seen very good quality out of them.

I have been using an N7000 for 2 years now. A great phone - but the achilles heel has definitely been power. I had three bateries for it. Got one of those fat aftermarket batteries with the phone cover - it was absolutely useless - I don't think it even held the equivalent power of 33% of an OEM battery. Picked up another aftermarket battery similar in size to the OEM battery. In fairness, that hasn't been too bad - it's only in the last few weeks that it seems to have tanked - cant get much of a charge on it now.
Even with all of those - when I would go away travelling, there still was no comfort. I would have to curtail the way I used the phone. It's for that reason that I've turned to this power bank.
Only received it yesterday - but it seems to be exactly the same as the OP's. Charging it right now.
@Warnahly: Has the power bank retained its integrity since you first started using it? In real terms, what do you suspect is the real power storage of this device (if we are to work on the basis that it probably doesn't strictly live up to the 30K mAh description?

Extended batteries are nice, but they add a lot of bulk to your phone. I switched to my stock battery because having a phone that doesn't feel like a heavy brick is so much nicer.

If only it was possible to get that kind of battery life without turning the phone into a humpback whale.
Just to let you know,
the chinese makers of many batteries like to lie about the MaH ratings - it's easy to tell if you weigh them. Also I've seen them set it up so that power depletes slowly for the first 100-60% and then rapidily drop within seconds when the power is running out.
I recommend looking at reviews from phones in general and find a maker that isn't a scammer - one that takes pride in their name and quality. There are plenty now and they're about the same price if you buy direct from china. I thought a few times about selling them but then I relised that people are too dumb and just look at the price so I couldn't be bothered. There are some countries where it's not even possible to buy a decent replacement battery - Latin America and Spain for example.

Exactly. These make it hard to put the phone in your pocket.
IMHO I'd rather carry around a spare Samsung Extended battery with me and just swap it in. Saves a lot of money. I got mine on Amazon for like $10. Plus I can use any case with it.
