I sent in my request I like there cases but it takes so long for them to make a case that by the time the make one I don't have the phone anymore

I sent a request for ya. I was looking at their cases for some of the other phones, and I think I could see myself picking one up if they did make one for the Slide

They will, just like the HD2 for T-mo version. Initially they only had the Otter Box for the Euro version. Just takes a lot of request for them to realize that there is a market for it.

I sent them a message too. Generally I refuse to pay more than $10 USD for a cheapo case, but this one looks pretty good. They'll get my money, we'll see how it goes

We do not have any information if a case will be made at this time for that device, but it is something that has been requested. I found a link to your website via the XDA-developers forum and had a look at what you've done for other devices. I've previously had the Body Glove products for previous devices I've had but always found that they didn't have a very good fit over time. Since I found the link over at XDA-developer, I've had a chance to see the products you make for the iPhone as well as the regular myTouch. I would love to see a product of yours that would work for the myTouch 3G Slide. If you were to make a product for this phone, I'd be more than thrilled to purchase it as it seems that there's a lot of care taken when your company designs product.

Yeah it does take a while for them to decide. People just has to keep requesting for it and hopefully they get enough requests for them to realize that there is a market for it.

Also requested and got the standard return e-mail of not right now but maybe.

Got the standard form letter a couple days ago as well. Hopefully we can get enough cases in there to make them get off their duff before T-mo retires the Slide.

(G2) Just got a text from T-Mobile and.....

My text says that my order has been processed and will be delivered within 7 days as right now I guess.
I guess I will have to give ya'll the bad news, but I'm sorry to say I will unfortunately become a traitor 7 days from now..
But, I will soon be retiring my TP2. I'm sure she will retire and move to the Bahamas. And, I'm sure ya'll will just be asking yourselves, 'who is this ya-hoo?'. But I feel better to myself for letting the word out that I am switching HTC phones very shortly. It will be a day of mourning, but it will all be a day of happyness!

Would have been nice if you told us what you retired her in favor of.

I'm sorry for the confusion. I preordered the HTC G2. It was rumored that it might be called the HTC Vision in previous articles covering this particular phone.

FYI, I was at an AT&T retail store in Central California today and the store mgr let me check out an upcoming (not yet announced or released ASFAIK), WP7 "dummy phone" by HTC.
No details on the exact processor, RAM, screen technology, etcetera, as it was in a plain, white cardboard box with no printed specs or paperwork, but I do have "some" additional info. I managed to steal a few quick camera-phone pics of the front and back of the device, plus a pic of the UPC barcode, and the HTC Model Name & #. No info from the store about expected release date, etc.
Any interest here?

Just waiting to hear back from a tech blog site about running an exclusive...to see if I can get a new phone out of the deal at least, lol. Prolly not, so will post up pics once I get a reply. Maybe I've misunderstood, but the OP is clearly saying this is a Windows Phone device and the chacha is Android..?

DOOOOOOOOOHHHH! Sorry guys, False Alarm! FishFaceMcGee was right. It IS the HD7s. I was thrown-off because the box it was in and UPC/Label clearly say "HTC X-Wing Dummy Unit"...(see attached pics).
Whew, rough crowd in here, lol. Sorry for getting your panties in a bunch over nuthin'! LOL

HTC One X Give Away

OK guys this is no joke.
I have an HTC One X (black) in pieces.
My digitiser screen broke, I ordered a new one. When it arrived here I set about fixing my phone. Just to say I am not much of a fix it guy. Whilst getting the old digitiser off I broke the actual (LCD) darn it. I carried on for the experience. I got the innards out all as they should be except the tiny piece of plastic that covers the front camera, not really needed. It's very small but hardly important. I suppose even with a broken LCD (£30UK) and opened up i could still get money off eBay for it. But I am not going to do this
I will send it to any PROVEN dev at no cost, FREE aside of P&P. Count it as me doing my bit to help the dev movement and my little way to say thank you. They can put it back together because I can not. The phone worked perfect and was my daily driver for 2 months even after i smashed the digitiser it worked perfect. I will also send the brand new digitiser screen.
All I ask is that you pay the P+P (we are poor. Lol)
Up to you guys. If you want it come and get it.

You should get in touch with Adam Outler. So he can do some hacking on it. Maybe he can find an exploit to s-off!!

Just throw my suggestion out there, mwilky who created renovate rom lost his the other day in a cab as far as I know he's no building blind.
If not I think Nitrous as he is the guy who has taken s-off into another league and is trying everything for us.

I would love this! I was planning on buying one to use as my platform for a new type of 3D scanner I've made which I hope to distribute on kickstarter.
At the moment I can't afford it because I've spent my entire budget on other wifi boards.
I'm 26 years old and I've been programming and hacking since primary school. I made a iPhone lockscreen simulator that was posted on here before the 1st iPhone came out (based on the CES keynotes).
I plan to share the schematics and code on here when the kickstarter has been launched.
