Battlefield 4 commander app - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

So as some of you many have noticed, the BF4 commander app just launched on android.
Unfortunately, the app is only available for tablets. Sideloading the app doesn't work even if you can acquire the apk.
Does anyone know of a way to force Google play to allow a download of an app marked as incompatible?

Use market helper, need to be rooted but can spoof your device and make play store think you're device is a tablet.

I think you have to go into settings - applications - google play and clear data [knock the market app back to the old version] and then use market enabler to switch to another market <-- this method used to work before the google play update and I have been unable to test it now as my phone constantly force closes when I go into settings [using a 64gb card with link2sd that is close to max]

Non US Users: change app store location

Just a suggestion for non US W8 users: changing the location in windows control panel is the simplest way to change the store from outside the US, having more apps available. You can't buy apps, but you can download the free apps. You don't need to change language, numbers, ecc, just location.
Will try this! Thanks!
Works really well I now have photobucket, anymore app suggestions.
If you like your social media apps then Norto Satélite is worth it, only available from US store

Why are you saying I can only use free apps? I bought Pin Steam and everything went ok.
Well I tried it and it would not let me buy a paid app in US store since my email and account is UK based

Play tablet games on phone?

Is there any way to get around tablet restrictions in the play store? I would like to play Magic on my OneX but when I try to install it from the play store, it says my device isn't compatible...
Cheers in advance.

Multi DPI playstore mod should work.

Fire TV and SlingPlayer

So my Fire TV managed to update itself after I blocked it during the initial setup. Hasn't bother me too much until now. I bought and side loaded SlingPlayer for android and it works ok. Requires a mouse to select certain functions but otherwise it works very well. My problem is that after running the app one time, on the second load it says it can't authenticate. I'm guessing there is nothing I can do since I cannot root but I thought I would ask here. Right now I just uninstall and side load again. Any ideas?

You need a different apk. If you did legitimately buy it you should install google play services and install slingplayer through that.
I am unable to install play services because I can't root. I've used APK extractor on my Galaxy Tab twice since I bought the app to try and make sure I had an authenticated copy

App not compatible with device in Play Store

I made several apps that are not all compatible with all my devices one of these apps I'm looking at is called taxonomy and nutrition it's on the Play Store now and I am able to install it onto my Android vortex if I have it on a SD card but it won't show up in Google Play unless I'm using my ZTE Warp I was just wondering why is it that some of my devices don't see this app in the Play Store but the very same devices can install and run the app just fine they are HTML 5 apps coded using the Intel xdk software on Linux
