Display goes on when the Battery is already loaded. - Sony Xperia ZL

Hi,
i have the Problem, when the Battery is fully loaded, and the loading cable is pluged in, that the display turns on by itself.
Is there an Option to disable this? I'am on Stock 10.31.A.2.67.
Sorry for my bad english!

Thats not a probelm, thats to let you know that the phone is fully charged, and that you can disconect it from the charger.

But when i charge the ZL over night, the Display is on the hole Night!! Is there anywhere an Option, to disable the Screen on?

Like he said. Make sure this option is not checked off in developer settings.

AOKP's Torch Wake Lock flaw

According to BetterBatteryStats the Torch Wake Lock is keeping my phone constantly awake even though the screen is on. How can I disable/uninstall torch from the system if it isn't an app from what I understand?

unless im mistaken i believe this has something to do with the FASTTORCH in the rom settings; enabling this leaves your device open to the wake lock. i noticed when i disabled and rebooted mine went away

I've never turned on fast torch so I don't know why it's doing it , but I've switched fast torch on and off, switched off volume for music skipping, and turned off legacy menu icon unlock. Now it seems my phone is sleeping properly after I turn off the screen.

Just tried it, and it only happens if not used for 3 days. It didn't work.
I literally just have to hit the power button to turn screen back on to get it working again. I'm not sure if there's another related app that is sleeping?
Would it be google services framework?
I removed Google services framework from greenify, but no change.

I turned off auto hibernate for greenify and app power saving, it still stops shortly after screen off. Why?
UPDATE:
If I have it plugged into a charger, it doesn't do this. Is there some kind of power save mode for data or something when not plugged into a charger, when the screen is off for a bit?

Give this setting a toggle in Dev options and see what they does. It's the only thing in my phone that I can find that might do something for you.

I have the same problem on my Huawei GX8 on CM13, anyone found a fix?
Edit: fixed in the latest nighty

S-Pen Software not working properly

Not sure why but the software for the S-pen doesn't work for the always on display and the pop up that came up when you took the pen out of the phone when the display was already on. It doesn't come up either but the phone makes the noise that it's supposed to when the S-pen is removed. I'm guessing I updated some Samsung apps that affected this. Anybody have this happen. The pen still works when I open up Samsung Note manually or hit draw from a screen shot.
Try to trun off always on display and see if that works.

Also check your S pen settings. I turned the screen off memo option off and phone reacted as you described.

Thanks in advance!
With it plugged in, restart the phone. If that doesn't work, try another cord if you have one.

Yes, charging it while the phone shut down then turn it on is possible, but that is quite frustating every time that happen, also fast charging is not working too with the original cable
Do you have any apps disabled? I remember having this issue when I had my s8. Disabled an app with package disabler and same thing happened.

Don't like this option at night.

None yet, as far as I know. Hopefully Sam will either remove it or give you the option of turning the freakin' display off with the next update.
It's crazy that turning off AOD doesn't disable that.

My workaround is using this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ccswe.appmanager.samsung
You just need to disable AOD service and that's it.
Enable it after charging is completed and thats it.
Its like 10 seconds of work before putting the phone on charger.
Little power
It uses little power and it's not static so not an issue of any consequence.
I use the Goodlock apps to change it's color and clock style.
Normally it always is running; it's very useful for me.
About a 1% per hour battery drain when running with clock.
You can also manually set it's brightness to the lowest level but it won't be visible except at night.
Turning off AOC should leave you with a completely blank off screen (no screen lock is set on my phone though).
