n1 can update o-click - Oppo N1

Interesting bit I found on the chinese n1 forum:
http://bbs.myoppo.com/thread-1934885-1-1.html
You can use the N1 to update the O-click's firmware.
I'm not sure what the new features it's talking about do.

That's really cool, thanks for sharing.
So far, I think the O-Click has a lot of potential, although I've seen some connection issues and the battery door is INCREDIBLY hard to remove...so I hope that coin cell lasts a long time!

The "Version upgrade" is available now in the O-Click settings. It doesn't pull an upgrade when clicked, but it is enabled.

Soooo... This happened today.

Have you noticed any difference in the O'click behaviour?

It seems to stay connected much better, as well as connecting very quickly after turning bluetooth on and pressing the button once. I tested randomly throughout the day after connecting and it held the connection very well without draining the battery on the N1.
I'm waiting to see if they open if/when up for changes and modification.

Thanks. Now, notice how that S3 goes into the Tablet UI? With no modifications to the firmware. We need to find out how to enable that independently of docking.

I would assume its because its displaying on the laptop dock which has a larger screen and smaller DPI. You can force your S3 into the tablet UI by simply lowering your pixel density, but then everything is so small.

Yeah, but I mean w/o manually editing the DPI. Like a toggle or something built in to ROMs. Would be kinda cool, at least IMO. Especially if someone already has an MHL adapter and plugs it up to their HD TV.

Shut up and take my money!!!
I've been waiting for something like this since I bought my iPod Touch 2g back in 2008. The Atrix would have been nice, but laptop dock was ridiculously overpriced, and only available on AT&T.
Has anyone been able successfully find anything else on these? I have been searching high and low and have yet to find it.

What i would want to see from a device like this is an integrated dock for the phone. Let's say I'm on a plane or a train, i dont want cables between two devices, i would want my phone to clip into the netbook somehow. Maybe on the back of the screen? Or even better, screen up, in next to the trackpad flush with the keyboard, with the Capability to use it as an auxiliary screen. Or why not use the phone itself AS the trackpad?
Even still, as it is now, I'd buy it.

I know it's been working on other devices. I think the limitation is Bluetooth 4.0 LE, which the M8 ships with. Just wondering if anyone has made any more progress than I have.

Watch Best Buy daily deals - I picked mine up for $150. Having the camera on my wrist is pretty cool! I still can't get notifications, but I'll update when those are working.

OMG!! D-Day has arrived in the US! 60% charge cap for Note 7 T-Mobile!

This is serious. An attempt to destroy our Note 7s has begun with T-mobile being the first for pushing out an update to cap the battery @ 60%!!
http://www.phonearena.com/news/T-Mo...te-7-that-limits-battery-charge-to-60_id87447
With some research on these forums I have found the link for correct 6.3 OTA package disabler son (6.4 removes OTA disabler)

I typed in "update" in the app and disabled what is shown in the screenshot. If anybody can add to what I have done or let me know if I have missed anything please let me know.
Hunker down and stay safe from the update! See you on the other side

The quick charge does not work the same or as fast after the first update. Sometimes I've noticed it charge at different speeds. Seems kind of random. I'm pretty sure the quick charge was either disabled or reduced though.

Oh that sucks. Mine works fine so far. I've checked my quick charge battery pack vs. charger itself it works pretty much same speed. I've even test it with my voltage meter.
Check the screen shot from the battery pack.
Fast charge only works with "Fast Charge" power adapters. Not with battery packs. Its mean to increase your voltage to 12V from the usual 3.7-5V This technology its only exclusive to some Samsung chargers. Look on the side to see if its got the "Fast Charger" logo and legend.

So on post 14 of this thread there is a link to another thread.
On that thread read post 405. He managed to get back 100% charge just please take not that he has an exynos model so you will need the proper files for your model - very important!
The guy in post 15 here has a verizon model and confirmed that for snapdragons that method works
There is no mention of root...i have no idea what your reading?

My apologies, didn't think you would be so sensitive as I was only joking. The user on post 405 has an Exynos model and pushed an AP file via Odin, which I also tried and was previosuly semi-bricked. The gentleman a few posts ago said he had success and has my exact model, which is why I directed my question to him. I appreciate your concern and efforts though.

Who's Thinking Of Getting This Phone?

Hiya folks. I've had Xperia phones since 2010 and I'm thinking of replacing my broken Z3c with an XA1. However I really don't want to be tied into a 2 year contract for a handset that's unsupported.
So I was just wondering..I know it's early days..but is anybody else thinking of getting one of these?
If you're browsing this forum and considering a purchase, reply and let me know! :good:

I'm really curious with this phone. Instead of mediatek processor, do you ever experience any lag/error during multitasking? And I wonder how long this 2.300 ma power battery can stand for a day. Maybe you can share your screen on time with list of applications installed.

Hello, could you confirm one exciting feature of android 7 (atleast for me) that it works on this phone software.
As of Android 7.0 phone can read 2G/3G/LTE frequency without ROOT. Easiest way is to install app Cellmapper(mapping cell towers to map) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cellmapper.net.cellmapper
Could anyone run this app(enable "Use new Android 4.2 Cell ID API" in settings) and post screenshot while connected to LTE only or 3G when 4G not available(no wifi)? Also, maybe send debug report from settings menu to developer([email protected]) with screenshot.
Thank you

I've had it less than a day so I can't really comment. But I haven't noticed any significant battery issues so far. I've come from the Z3 Compact and this seems to do everything I need it to do at the moment. The sound is good, picture quality is decent (yes, it's not full HD or whatever but it's a phone..if I really need amazing picture quality on my videos I'll use my TV) and the battery seems okay.
Like everything, it depends what you're using it for. If you spend your whole day playing Pokémon Go at full brightness while listening to music, your battery is going to be annihilated..

Just because I'm not here for magical ROMs, kewl kernelz, and hacks like Xposed doesn't mean I'm wasting my time. There is other info on here. Infact there is more non-ROM related info than ROM info (Moto Z2 Play).
If farting around with your phone is a big deal to you then you bought the wrong one. You should have forked out the dough for a Pixel or settled for an OP.

I rooted mine a couple weeks ago and finally had the time to flash Dolby Atmos. It took me a bit of effort to find a version that would work (CrisFix from a Samsung thread).
My next endeavor will probably be Xposed / Gravity Box.

Are you kidding? 2 pages on this thread and most of it was bickering... Ugh. What are you gonna do, I guess!
I'm wondering if getting a flashable kernel might help with my issue which is that my NFC doesn't work...

Are you on Stock? Mine didn't work too, but than I realized that the NFC Sensor is under the black stripe on the top of the phones aluminium frame haha - works great now.

Well, the issue is, (Should have specified, sorry!)... the actual NFC option doesn't work. When I toggle it on, it stays greyed out and just return to being off. The NFC on my phone works perfectly normally, but even since I returned from LineageOS to stock, it doesn't work now..

I had a similar issue. Do some googling on the issue to confirm, but it sounds like it can be a general issue with any Moto phones.
To fix it, I believe the solution for me was to wipe both modem partitions (I think). Anyway, do some searching to confirm what I'm saying, just to make sure!
