1. Backup
2. Recommended Recovery: PhilZ Touch
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
5. Reboot and Enjoy

Ive had it for more than 2 days and i got one...
One member of our team got none but another one got 3-4....
It doesnt play well with some mods (like "insane animation" for example) but its fine with gravity box...
Is this for I9505 or I9505G? The Thread title says I9505 but the screen picture says I9505G. If it is for G then this is not the right place to post the thread. There is a "I9505G Android Development" section in this forum.
Tomorrow, mods backgound setting change and courtains notifications, clock center/power, and more..........% battery.....

Please note. you MUST be on a 4.2 compatible version of TWRP to flash this ROM. My suggestion is the newest 2.5.0.0 as it has NOT been tested on other versions. It runs on the 4.2 bootloader. If you have a version of TWRP that runs on the 4.1 bootloader you will likely end up with an expensive paperweight. There is plenty of information about upgrading to the newest bootloader and ROMS by Asus. Info on Themes
The Aroma installer now includes 3 themes to choose from. I'll explain them quickly below:
1) Grimlock
- The theme that has been used on this rom for several revisions already. Nothing changed about this one
2) Stock Asus
- This looks exactly as Asus intended for. It does look almost the same as the Grimlock theme except it has the Asus stock battery icons
3) Classic Grimlock
- This is the original theme that I put out for this rom when I first developed it and many people wanted me to get rid of the dino lock screen. Basically it is a mainly white theme with a grimlock icon as the lockscreen and brightness slider.

What CROMI mod are you talking about? I would avoid that for now, as on of the issues with 4.2 roms not working well on TG's was because SystemUI kept crashing

Perhaps somebody with extreme deodexing skillz can help out I've never had any problem deodexing roms but for some reason everytime I do something gets borked with the jar files and the rom won't boot.

2. Use a Custom Recovery
3. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System (In Philz recovery use the Following Options: Wipe Data/ Factory Reset/ Clean to Install a New Rom) and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
4. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!
5. Reboot and Enjoy
6. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following:
Using Root Explorer or an analogous app go to data >property>persist.radio.lteon.xml open the file in Text Editor and change the value to true. Save and Exit and Reboot

my main man @ausdim just released the newest version of his kernel (v11) I will test it for a day or so and then release an updated version with the new kernel as default v.11 btw gives the ability for OC and UC the CPU and GPU :good: :good:

It is thx to its Developer Not even one bug with this kernel, not only on this TW Rom but with any Rom i have tried sonce ausdim released it...
Also, any benchmark scores I have posted are with stock settings (you couldnt OC v7's CPU, only GPU but didnt touch anything).
Quadrant came at 12466.... Attaching screenshot...

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP
2. Download Echoe Rom and make sure the md5 matches
3. Download the AT&T or T-Mobile kernel of your choice
4. You need to do a clean install!!! Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, Wipe data/factory reset and Wipe System and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
5. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
Note: Even if you are coming from a previous version of Echoe Rom, it is still STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that you do a full wipe before flashing!!
6. Flash the AT&T or T-Mobile Kernel of your choice.
7. Reboot and Enjoy
8. Once 1st setup is done, check your APN to make sure you have the AT&T LTE APN.

Don't want to steal friedrich420's thunder but if you use a file explorer such as ES File Explorer and go to system; build.prop; and edit all you have to do is change the model number from GT-I9505 to SGH-I337 and the ro.product.name=jfltexx to jflteatt and the
ro.product.device=jflte to jflteatt
Save the changes and reboot and you will have the device name as SGHI337 and the 4G lte symbols in the status bar will be a att symbols.

Hey guys! You may ask yourself what this rom is about and what you can expect from it, so it's basically something similar to the SuperMan-Rom on the Galaxy S7/S7 edge! It has many custom featuers, but you will find it below in the feature list :thumbup:
As you maybe know I'm a little fanboy from samsung, means I really love the stock look of the UI and the rom will always be based on most recent version from samsung, current base used is G955FXXU1AQF7 (compatible with S8 and S8+)

So this rom should be installed by anyone loving to use a rom close to stock BUT with many mods inside aroma/rom control.
Also I'd like to make the already fast galaxy s8 even more faster as it already is! Let's see if we can reach this goal

How to install the rom:
For advanced users:
0. Make sure to have a backup somewhere on external storage
1. Make sure to be on most recent TWRP, bootloader and modem
2. Flash the rom
3. If you need VoLTE or Wifi Calling, flash your correct carrier CSC
4. Done
For normal users:
0. Boot your phone, enable OEM unlock in developer settings
1. Flash TWRP with Odin (if you don't have odin, download it here), following this thread S8/S8+ TWRP until it works correctly (to access download mode, press bixby+volume down+power on while phone is turned off)
2. Make sure you are using most recent bootloader and modem, latest one available here on Android File Host
3. Now boot into TWRP by pressing bixby+volume up+power on while phone is turned off
4. If TWRP asks you about allowing system to be edited, swipe yes to confirm
5. In TWRP, go to wipe, format data (a keyboard will pop up now), type "yes" (this will wipe all your data, make sure to have a backup!)
6. After this, reboot recovery and start the rom installer
7. Select your preferences in my aroma installer
8. If you selected to auto update bootloader in aroma, the installer will reboot automatically
9. You can still install my CSC selection if you are customer of a carrier which is not supported by default CSC inside the rom
10. Wait till the rom boots up
11. After setting up, open BatMan Settings Free and let the app apply my default settings!
12. Enjoy the rom!

Random reboots where caused by flashing no verity opt zip. It corrupts the data partition somehow. Without there was never a problem.
To fix: wipe, format data, type 'yes'

I can't remember in which languages I've added it, but since it would be in over 150 files I think I've added it in most used as french, italy, german and english, but I'm not 100% sure anymore

I cannot use flashlight with hardware keys with samsung case. Without works well. I don't know if it fixable or not...

Assuming that you already know me more or less, this rom is based upon latest Samsung Experience 8.5 (Android 7.1.1). I really love the Samung UI, that's why I work on those roms and not on AOSP such as LineageOS, I know I'm a little fanboy
Coming to the features, it's similar to the ones you'll find on my other roms such as BatMan-Rom (for the S8/S8+ and S7/S7e) or the SuperMan-Rom (for the S7/S7e) or even the EOL (End Of Life) HydraRom (for the glorious N7) :good:

If you are using any 3rd party kernel (not the included IronKernel) you may want to ask your developer to include this wifi hotspot fix. Using 3rd party kernel will break the hotspot function!!

Superman ROM is stock S7 Android debloated, made smoother etc
Ironman ROM is a Galaxy Note 8 port

I have 2 questions,
Do I have to flash the kernel too? (Is it not coming in the zip of the rom itself?
What about the bootloader and modem, those have to be flashed?

All Kernel are inclued also bootloader and modem.
- Updated kernels to latest BQK6 source code (version 1.2.0) (choose in aroma)
- Updated all bootloader and modem files to latest for their model
- Added SM-G955N, SM-G950N and SM-N950N bootloader/modem to aroma. So they can also update directly via recovery!
Does this rom have the 6x6 home screen grid and apps screen grid, like in Ambasadii S8 Rom??

Just out of curiosity, why do so many ROMs have 3Minit Battery as system app? Is it any useful?

i recommend to change dpi settings for better rendering fonts:
adb shell wm density 560 && adb reboot
Rom is great, only thing missing is the 6 x 6 apprdrawer
Can you install GRX Touchwiz V4.0 in the next build ? @Tkkg1994

And it's a snapdragon device so yeah... very compatible with our exynos phone :crying:

There are a few AOSP ones, but this isn't related to this rom thread, please check the general Q&A threads (plus this thread is even for s7 and not s7e)

Because 3minit is an option in romcontrol. If we don't install it the systemui would constantly crash

This mod is already available via 3rd party flash, so instead of cluttering the rom with 3rd party addons I'd like to keep it clean and let you flash your own mods you prefer
