[How To] Enable iOS like Overscroll (Bounce) Animation on any Rom - Nexus 4 Themes and Apps

Your Phone Should be Rooted
1) Install Xposed from HERE
2) Install Xui Mod v9 from HERE , activate it & reboot
3) Open Xui Mod app. Go to Scrolling Mod option, enable it,
Set Overscroll Distance to 150
Set Overfling Distance to 150
& Reboot phone.
You'll get overscroll animation like iOS, but you'll also see overscroll glow. To disable overscroll glow, you'll have to extract framework-res.apk (from system/framework) of your rom & replace overscroll png with transparent ones & put new apk back to system/framework. (If you are new to this, simply upload your Rom name and its framework-res.apk here & I or someone else will do that for you.)

Does it work in android 4.4?

Yes it works on Android 4.4 also

Cool mod.. Thnx for this

Sorry, but I don't understand what does this really looks like? is there any video to see?

video will be appreciated.... @thread owner

It gives a bouncing animation when you over scroll in an app. Open settings, keep scrolling down till the end and don't stop, you would see a curvy white bouncing animation at the end... Same applies for all the otger apps

I think that 150 is not a universal value, because smaller screens will have greater part used for the overscroll.
so i'd like to know what's the resolution of your device, to calculate the percentage of the vertical resolution.

Great everything is fine.
Looks very nice.
Thx
Btw. I´ve uploadet a restore Package if something goes wrong - It´s included all the Files who was changed
All Files are orginal only the Scree-Off Animation is added.
Orginal with Screen Off
It looks really nice, i dont like only lockscreen.
added extended power menu and loads of pngs + some xml-edits = quite a huge update
Awesome theme, its my favourite for sure. I would love to see a circle % battery icon and a rotary unlock screen or at least an aosp like unlock screen. My last wishes ( ) would be a different wifi and gps icon too. Cheers mate keep up the good work.
Looks great but I can't get it work on darky's 9.5 rom. It stucks at boot samsung boot logo.
Oh crap... So 9.5 isn't JVK...
is there a way to install just the extended power menu on my SGS (JVK)?
thank.
You need to have a deodexed JVK (2.3.3) rom first. Darky's is still froyo.
9.5 isn't jvk.

Is it possible to use the UOT Kitchen with the SGS II by removing the framework and systemUI apks from the system dump in the development section?
You can use UOT, I used it for a couple of the mods on this, only reccomendation is to pull the apk's from your phone as the system dump is from an older pre-release software

how does this work becuase the system apps have .odex files.. dont you have to remove this first.. adb push will not remove them?

Since I installed CM7 I've hated the pattern lock. The dots are just too big and cluttered.

For anyone wanting to know how to do this from scratch so it can be applied to other apps........
Going to use changing status bar Wi-Fi icon as an example.
1. Extract SystemUI
2. Note folder path to icon location
3. Create a tiered folder structure as follows
Wi-Fi (project folder)
-SystemUI (app name)
--res (app folder 1)
---drawable-mdpi (app folder 2)
Note: app folders should match those noted at step 2.
4. Download this xml https://www.box.com/shared/b8azhxogrg3ze5xt4y0o
5. Edit the xml to change xxx:
themename>xxx<
author>xxx<
phone>xxx<
rom>xxx<
themedescription>xxx<
item>SystemUI.apk<
path>/system/app/<
Note: item and path should match the app you are changing.
6. Save xml
7. Place xml in project folder

Tweaking themes
After installing this theme, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1483291 I wanted to change the notification toggles and battery indicator.
Before
After
Also returned the skateboarding android to the settings menu.
https://www.box.com/shared/v2ldlbz8biajqxlqwnml
Done it by creating this zip theme https://www.box.com/shared/9oyinwsjjs5rrz6lzwcx
Do not use this yourself unless you've installed the exact same theme in your system. Use it as a template to modify your own theme.

Android L Nav Bar can be added by an Xposed module. In case you don't want the paid app. Link
Also, L Keyboard is available on play store (No root needed). Link

how do i get these Icons in KK launcher ?
Pretty solution!!CM11
@Silvermatrix The KK launcher wont support these icons you have to install moonshine over apex/nova/smart etc. launchers to have it working. The best solution is to have root access and install CM11 and try out its themes. Hit thanks if i helped
Thanks Worked fine for me... Gravity box too providing option to change navigation button now
