Hi all,
Been looking around to see if there are sites for replacement accents, but I haven't found any. I did come across some on eBay; I was wondering has anyone encountered any site that sells the accents.
Personally, I would like to mix and match the colors (like metallic blue buttons with red camera frame accents and etc); also paint my own haha. Also, I might just get bored of the color that I decided at first and want to change. Anybody have that kind of feeling?
I've been trying to keep an eye out every week or so for replacement accents, but no luck so far. I ordered a replacement back from ebay that arrived quickly and seems OEM, so that's tiding me over until I find replacement accents! I picked black front/metallic orange, so it offers some fun combos for new back colors, at least.

In the interest of those getting their desire from mobilephonesdirect I thought it would be useful if someone can post a picture of the graphite model so we know what it looks like (the only sell the graphite option)

I spoke to mobilephonesdirect again today and they are saying that what they are classing as Graphite is the one shown on their website.
Which is what everyone else is calling brown.
While on the phone to them they said they had called HTC and they were told that they are NOT getting the silver one. (which is opposite to what they told me last week)
I think that they've just decided to call the brown one graphite to confuse everyone
The guy at customer support told me that if the phone I receive is not the same colour as the one shown on the website that I can return it.

You're right about the color, I also think the color is more black then brown. If you watch it in daylight you can see a brown tint (the photos are taken under quite yellow fluorescent lamps).
By the way, the silver is not as shiny as it looks.
How come this silver color seems to be enigmatic? How come I don't see it at the usual retailers that will be offering the Desire? HTC didn't even make an official mention of it. Is it some kind of exclusive/special edition or what?
I thinks it's exclusive to some retailers, like PDAShop.be, they seem to offer the silver one exclusively.

On your photos, there are definitely docking pins on the bottom of the phones.
Do you know if the final version will have them?
HTC didn't even mention them... and i'm wondering about the different versions...

About the docking pins; I've got different answers from HTC. One said the will be gone in the final model while another person says they wil stay. We will see.

There is another version that is clearly black, so calling the brown one black would be confusing, even though it does look more black than brown.
There have been a lot of good suggestions for A100 cases in this sub-forum, including some that actually ship to Canada! But they are all black!
Why is so much in the PC and audio-visual electronics world BLACK these days? Oh, don't get me started on black gadgets and how difficult it makes reading labels and controls and so on. Thank goodness my little Asus eeePC was white!
But back to the topic:
For other tablets including the A500, there are lots of coloured cases available.
But the only non-black case I found for the A100 is this one:

- and it ships to Canada, eh? I have the blue one, and I want to order the red one for my wife's A100. It's a pretty good case, and you can get it in black if you like black.

Hi all,
Does anyone here own one of these cases? Specifically in light blue, yellow or orange?
I ask because, looking at pictures online, it appears the colour on the front of the case is a little lighter than the colour at the back. I'm a bit weird, I know, but if true, that would annoy me and put me off buying one.
I owned the official flip case for the Galaxy Note and the colour was the same front and back. Is this the case with the S3?

I had one, the blue one. It wasn't bad, the color looked fine to me. I also have one on my s3 and it has the same design as the color on the phone itself.

I have one in blue and am not impressed. It looks nice, the color matches the phone and it protects the screen quite well but ultimately, the inferior quality will force me to return it. It's been on the phone for 4 days and the top is already starting to delaminate and bubble along the left edge. You can push it down and it will flatten out but the next time you fold it back to use the phone, it bubbles up again. It’s getting noticeably worse as the days go on.

I'm looking to get a red aluminum home button for my Note 2. I recently purchased one from ebay. Since I'm new, I can't post links, but it was from ebay member "castte", just search for "Note 2 Home Button Red"
However, upon receiving it, it was definitely hot pink (see attached image). The seller said it was the way he took the picture, but I don't know. I requested a refund and won't be using it
Anyways, now I'm trying to find another place that sells something like this and I am having a tough time. Does anyone else know of a place where I can get this in red? If not, I may just go the SPIGEN route and use their silver sticker.

apparently, my red is the same brand, it seems like the seller sold out of the red and gave you the pink, where i get them you won't be able to get it, I get it direct from china shenzhen.

I was hoping for the real thing and not a skin
So far I haven't had any issues with the finish on my on 5T (which is black), but I imagine if the red shows black spots underneath if the finish wears off it would be much worse. So while my favorite color maybe red, I think I'd just stick to black. Not to mention my phones are always in a case anyways. This is why I'd second the skin suggestion. Not to mention opening the device obviously has some risk as well.
I highly doubt OnePlus will sell you parts.
I was checking that out too.. went to a couple parts websites and eBay looking for a red housing and so far all I could find is the black one.
So I just bought the red one and gave my wife my black one.
I would still love the option to buy a red housing though so I can go caseless and just replace it once it gets scratched up.
I think swapping housings is a terrible idea.
1) there is the slight chance you might break something
2) there is a chance you'll compromise what little water resistance the glue provides
I'd just sell my phone and buy the one I want.
1. Get a skin
2. Get a red case
3. Next time buy the color you want
As mentioned previously I would never take apart my phone simply bc I wanted a new color and especially not if there want any physical damage I was hoping to get rid of. The phones sold out domestically and only on sale in Europe and China in red, I'm assuming the housing will be hard to come by.
