Version Details:
Stripped Version:
Stripped Version contains almost everything Sony has to provide along with a few other Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes etc. It contains only a basic level of Debloating i.e. Most of the stuff from the original FTF has been kept intact in it. Only the obvious and completely worthless bloatware and other stuff has been removed from it. As It preserves almost all the Sony's Features its upto the user to remove whatever he/she wants from it. Although it has been cleaned enough so there shouldn't be a imminent need for it.
Minimal Version:
Minimal Version is a new version which has been specially optimized keeping the following things in consideration:
Lowest Possible Size
Battery Friendly
More and More Free RAM
All the Possible Bloatware Removed
No Additional Apps (Except the Most Required ones)
Optimized for best Performance, Speed and Smoothness
Etc ++
The Minimal Version contains All the Modifications, Tweaks, Fixes but Only one Kernel and Bootanimation, No Glass Apps and No Google Apps (Expect Play Store) either. Minimal Version is basically a Peakly Debloated Version of the Stripped Version. If someone wants to install something from the Aroma Version He/She should download the Addons Pack which can be found on the other iHackers Thread and if someone wants any of the deleted apps that were deleted while the Bloatware Removal, He/She can get them from the Official FTF or from Aroma Version.
This Version is Ideal for those who simply hate the Bloatware and like a very very clean Install and to customize and add everything exactly What and How they want. The only things left out in the Minimal Version are the Core Apps without which you would loose the entire feel of Sony Xperia Z1 and without them there would be no pleasure in installing it.
Addons Pack:
The Addons Pack has everything in the Aroma Version except the ROM itself. It is being provided for Minimal and Official Versions because they do not have anything from Aroma Version included in them. So, In case if someone wants to install something from Aroma Version, He/She should use the Addons Pack and as its based on Aroma to, so naturally He/She will have all the options with what to install and what not. This Pack will not only work with my ROM, or any other Stock Based ROM alone, it will work with all other ROMs too (Ofcourse, The ones that support the Included Kernels).

Hell yes! Glad you guys are back with some 4.3/iHackers goodness.
Question: Even though this is stock, does this contain any of your iHackers settings?
Is the stripped version like your full version of your ROM and minimal is just the ROM itself?

great i will try it when it is uploaded hope it can be flashed on locked bootloader:fingers-crossed:

Yeaaa really happy to see your 4.3 rom :d

I am glad to see you too. Regarding the ROM, No, It wouldn't contain the stuff from my other ROM. I intend to keep this one as purely stock as possible. What would be the point of creating a new thread if I add all the stuff from the other ROM. Although You can use the features from my other ROM, Simply use the Addons Pack (This was the main reason behind making it, You can simply use it with any ROM on the Z1 Forum). Just remember not to select the options that would install system apps from the previous firmware and it would work perfectly fine. Regarding the details about the Stripped and the Minimal Versions, I have posted the details above. You will know the rest when you try them.
I would have released this version a long time ago. its just that I didn't get enough time for this, making it is the easier part but releasing and supporting is the harder one when you don't have enough time. I will be releasing the other version somewhere between the Christmas week when I will have some free time and I will use the old thread for that.

Can I update from the older version room ihacker v1.2?

Nah, I didn't mean that. I just meant what's the difference between the stripped and the minimal versions of the rom? Good, I'm really happy to hear that you'll be releasing an update to the iHackers rom. Hopefully (I wouldn't see why not) you guys will release the 4.3 update with it. Ran your rom since the day you released it. They only reason I changed roms was because 4.3 came out and you guys were away but I'm gonna download this and flash it right away.

On the iHackers 1.2, I had no social live camera (the video stream to Facebook), does this rom have it by default?

This is an FAQ/tips/troubleshooting thread for the CM9 ICS AOSP ROM being developed by epsylon and quarx. Many thanks to the devs for spending time and effort to bring us ICS goodness. Defy devs totally rock, we have a stable working ROM within weeks of the drop. If you can, donate a few bucks to the devs for their work and to encourage them (donate links and details at the end of this post).
Do not post bug reports here - use this thread for it instead.
GUIDELINES:
Know fully well what you are doing: this is a pre-alpha ROM, very early, and does not include much of device-specific optimizations. It might be buggy, battery life might not be great, there may be broken apps and random force-closes. If you are comfortable (or excited to) handle all the above, proceed. Else, wait for a more stable beta or RC version of ICS before trying it out.
Start with a full battery charge.
Some things might be referred to, without being given proper explanation. I expect that you know them already. If not, use either XDA search bar on top or use Google. This is because including explanations for everything will make this FAQ lengthy and less readable.
If you are completely new to custom ROMs, rooting etc, read up and educate yourselves(I did 3-4 days of reading before I even got my Defy!) well so you don't make costly mistakes. Links are provided at the end of the post.
And of course, the standard disclaimer applies: the ROM developers, me and others on this thread are not responsible if you brick or damage your phone. All steps will be posted after personally testing, though, so if you follow them properly, you will be fine.
STEPS TO INSTALL ICS/CM9:
Prerequisites: Defy, rooted and with 2nd init installed.
Backup your apps using Titanium Backup, Root Explorer, Astro File Manager or similar (to restore to the ICS ROM you will flash).
Get the latest CM9 zip file (links at the end of this post).
Copy into your SD card.
Disable USB debugging.
Reboot into recovery (switch on the phone and hit volume - button when the LED turns blue; CM7 and similar custom ROM users can press and hold power, select recovery).
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Do a factory reset/wipe data, then install the CM9 zip file.
Immediately after, flash this 2.3 kernel zip.
Flash GApps zip file.
Clear Dalvik Cache (this is IMPORTANT!).
Reboot. It takes some time for Dalvik Cache to be built, be patient.
While it is possible to flash CM9 on top of CM7, many users have reported hangups and slowdowns. Also, this is a pre-alpha (very early!) build, so do not take any chances, do a fresh install.
STEPS TO UPDATE ICS NIGHTLY:
If you flashed CM9 already, and want to update to a newer nightly (which comes out almost daily), follow these steps:
Download and copy the CM9 zip file to your SD card.
Ensure that USB debugging is disabled.
Reboot and enter recovery.
Wipe cache(NOT wipe data/factory reset).
Go to advanced > wipe dalvik cache.
Install the CM9 zip file in your SD card.
Reboot.
Note: Some newer nightlies might be less stable than the previous one, for example, I found 08/12 to be more stable than 09/12, and had to go back to 09/12. Keep this in mind when updating.
FAQ:
Q: I installed 08/12 build(or newer), but it gets stuck at the CM boot logo. What do I do?
07/12 contains the required 2.3 kernel. 08/12 and newer do not. If you have installed 08/12 or newer, enter recovery and flash the 2.3 kernel, then reboot. This applies only to Defy owners; Defy+ owners already have 2.3 stock ROM and kernel, so they do not need to apply the kernel.
In fact, the kernel zip for Defy owners is the kernel from Defy+.
Q: I installed ICS. How do I go back to stock 2.2/2.3 OR CM7 or other custom ROM?
Use either a full sbf of stock rom (flash with rsdlite) or a fixed SBF+nandroid backup to go back to stock. Wipe data, flash the fixed SBF from recovery, then restore its corresponding nandroid. Now, clear dalvik cache and reboot.
For CM7, wipe data, install CM7 zip file (which must be copied to SD before booting to recovery), then restore the nandroid that you have. Wipe dalvik cache and reboot.
If you do not have a nandroid backup, and/or use other software like Titanium Backup, flash the stock or custom ROM, clear dalvik cache, then reboot and restore using the specific app.
Q: Syncing does not work.
Reflash Gapps in recoveryy.
Q: I see only a Defy+ zip file in the download server, is it safe to use it on Defy too?
Yes, the 'Defy+' in the filename merely indicates that it should be used with the Defy+ GB kernel. It can be used safely with both Defy and Defy+.
Downloads:
Cyanogenmod 9 ICS builds
GApps zip file (for builds 20/12 and newer)
GApps zip file (for builds 13/12 and older)
CM9 2.3 kernel
CM7 2.2 kernel (to go back to Froyo etc. if you need)

Donate:
All the hard work is being done by the devs, Epsylon and quarx, and they deserve any donation you can make.. If you can donate, send them a few bucks, it helps encourage them, and is a small reward for the CM9 goodness they are bringing to our beloved Defys.

cant we flash full sbf
you just mentioned fixed sbf...
@nogoodusername: thanks, and I will add your tip.
@maxxxxx: yes, you can flash full sbf of your stock rom, I w go back toill add that. Though I reckon most won't go back to stock, but cm7 or the like!
u have mentioned that we are supposed to flash 2.3's kernel, u mean we have to flash it on our defy and not defy+ [although after thinking about it i feel stupid asking this coz why would you flash 2.3's kernel on 2.3, but still asking coz i dun wana end up doing something foolish]...or do u mean we have to flash the kernal ONLY if we use 08/12 or newer cm?
thanks for the help..
@abysstheking: Thanks for reminding me of that, I've edited the question to make it clear about Defy+.
I have Defy green lens. As I can install CM9? So that, 2init?Please details more the process for not expert users as I. Many thanks again.

Your camera will not work, everything else would work fine. This is an early build, devs are trying to make green lens camera work. They will get it done sooner or later, like they did on CM7.

Well based on search here, Currently, SIM Toolkit will not work on our phone. Maybe on some other countries it'll work. I have used Hi1Jason's kernel for this ROM and I have tweaked it to make it more battery saving. I'll be posting in a while the details of this ROM.

Sorry for the Delay. I have found some minor bugs while on my final test. I have canceled the upload for some changes.

Meanwhile, this will just be a RC1 version.

Please Donate Guys if you like my work.
First of all, thank you for your hard work. It's go great to see someone from the same country I live in developing a rom for this phone! (Im not Filipino though).
By the way, the rom is huge in size. (320mb!) Is this because of Gapps included in the rom? AFAIK, it is against Google's policy to include Gapps in a custom rom. You may have to remove the apps from your rom and link a set of gapps from Goo.im or something similar.
I'm downloading the rom now. Will report back after testing it.

Actually those are inverted Gapps that I have included. And in my next release it will be based from the latest cm10-M2 from cyanogen MOD... It will be packed with latest features of cm10.
It's just for testing. Because some of the GAPPS are not compatible with it so I have to select those that works.
Don't worry my Boy, I will seperate it once everything is in order. So for now, it will be included since it is not really released by google itself. It has been modified by some devs here so no worries.

Okay. it was just my 2 cents.
Anyway, I've been running the rom for past 2 days and it looks fine.
Here are just a few things that I want to address...
- Led flashlight toggle cannot be enabled for the notification bar.
- Can notice very minor graphical glitches found in UI animation.
- There seems to be some battery drain. I'm not sure what causes this. (Could be wifi?) It's not just for your rom, but prevails all other roms for this phone. For other devices that I had (see my signature), 1% or less per minute with WIFI on was very normal. but I'm getting at least 3 to 5% per hour now which is not satisfactory at all. Do you have any information on this?

Your feedback is much appreciated.

HOPEFULLY I COULD POST IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
JUST DONATE IF YOU WANT TO, BUT IF NOT THEN YOU ARE NOT FORCE. BETTER TO SHUT YOUR MOUTH IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY GOOD THINGS TO SAY.

No harsh feeling here but donation should be pure giving. What you are asking starts to look more like selling as you emphasize the word "donation" in every post you make.
If you really need funds to continue, better monetize your rom. Create some locked features, and make an app that unlocks them and sell it on Play Store.

Installation Guide
For a quick, down and dirty (so to speak) installation guide look below. I will update with a cleaner guide in a few days.
Please before you do anything, make a nandroid backup.
1) Download the ZIP file from the link above and check with the MD5 hash to make sure that it is correct
If you do not already have a 4.3 modem please click here to download the correct modem. Put it on the SD card and flash at the end of this install!
2) Put it on your SD card (external or internal)
3) Reboot into recovery, wipe data/cache and dalvik cache
4) Install from SD card and flash the Rage zip file
5) Follow the steps in AROMA for setup and choose Custom or Default (all apps/bloatware will be loaded) for installation type.
6) This WILL flash the Insecure AT&T kernel
7) Once installation is complete, reboot your phone and enjoy!
8) If you have not installed, make sure you do that after install (uncheck the Reboot on AROMA). Remember the first boot will take a few minutes, let it completely install. I always make sure to install backed up apps after that or install new apps/update new apps from the Play store. After you have done so, restart phone again seems to help everything
9) If when through recovery you get asked about disabling recovery click yes and asked about making sure you have root, again click yes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Have something you want to see in the next version? Custom Kernels, Mods, Themes, etc? PM me and let me know
How can I get even BETTER battery life?
You can still receive SMS (not MMS) if you have data turned off. Settings > More Networks > Mobile Networks > Uncheck Mobile Data. You can use that while sleeping/etc to get unbelievable battery life with this ROM!
Phones usually take a couple battery cycles to get themselves doped out properly. Give it a couple battery cycles to recalibrate itself.
You can also recalibrate your battery with Battery Calibration. Charge your phone to 100% (use currentwidget to make sure its actually at 100% and 2100mAh) then calibrate your battery using the app. Let your phone die completely, then charge completely.
Does Native Tethering Work?
I have not tested it yet, however, if it does not you can go to the link provided to get it to work:
Enable Tethering
Does Google Wallet work?
Fixed in Version 2.0
Is 4Way Reboot included or unlimited multi-window working?
Not yet but Xposed has a download for Advanced Power Menu to offer that.
How Do I Turn on Developer Options?
Go to Settings > More > About Device > Click on Build Number 7 times!
Any other requests for mods that you would like seen, or bugs please report so they can be fixed.

At the time I started making this, I didnt see any with a custom AROMA install and the ability to choose whatever applications I wanted to put in my ROM. Also, didnt see any that included the Modem and Kernels in the same ROM and had to download everything. I decided to put in my own build.prop tweaks (still working/testing some) and went to AROMA installer from amarullz and decided to take DocHoliday's ROM (official release) and customize it with bloatware removal, AROMA, custom install, etc.
Never used Saranhai's / Team Inferno's ROM either

No worries, I wanted to keep mine as stock and debloated as possible. Used DocHoliday's until I made this. Also, I am not sure about that I can tell you though that its working for me right now 4G and all.
Good news! Link is up... Bad news terfile limits bandwidth and says it will take 4 hours to download. Still waiting on AFH for hosting and faster downloads. If you have a better recommendation for another file hosting server let me know! Hope it works out for everyone and you enjoy!

Sorry for spamming up my own thread! BUT - Link is FINALLY up for Android File Host and another will be posted shortly as the file is being uploaded to XDA as well for a backup! Installation instructions and an FAQ section is posted too! Good luck!
Will be checking it out. Prob tomorrow. Tired and ready for bed. Will post tomorrow how it goes. One question. Are you on new our older bootloader. I ask because I've noticed that the only room that works well on new bootloader other than the actual official itself is doc's official deodexed

[UPDATED][2015][How-to][Everything you need to know and do to your Captivate Glide

[UPDATED][2015][HOW-TO]Everything you need to know and do to your Captivate Glide by Stormdude124!
Hello, I see a lot of people wondering how to root the captivate glide, what ROMS are active and want to use a custom ROM but can't figure out how to do it. Well, here is a awesome guide that's easy to follow! When your done don't for get to drop a thanks if I've helped!
[ROOTING/AND OR UPDATING TO LATEST OFFICIAL UPDATE]
(of course when you make any modifications to your phone I'm not responsible but I am here to help!
I'm not discouraging you to do this, because this makes your phone awesome, but you know the drill :3 )
Firstly you need to update your firmware to 4.0.4 UCLJ3,You technically don't have to do this step, but this is the guaranteed way to successfully do it and have no issues. Here's two simple ways you can do it:
*If you are rooted /have the Rodgers version and want to update:
If you are on 2.3.5 android firstly, Update to official ICS 4.0.4 via ODIN.If you have Rodgers version you need root anyways .Click the button to show more and why:
Okay so you have the Rodgers version of the phone and you want root right?
Well your in luck! It does require having a custom ROM first...The reason is because the pre-rooted 2.3.5 ODIN flashable ROM is dead and I have yet to find one.If you want to be on official ICS Do this:Flash TWRP>backup your ROM>Install CM11 from recovery(it is pre rooted thats a plus!)>backup your /efs(this contains your unique IMEI number) with efs pro>then flash the 4.04 offical firmware via ODIN below this>restore your /efs. (if it was lost of course)If you want to stay on your custom ROM theres no probem with that, but if you have problems with signals or anything just flash this in recovery.
If you have any questions regarding this method check this thread out first.Anyways please follow the guide for step by step instructions on how to do everything and have the required files!
Rooted at&t version you don't have to do anything special just update normally *Sweet tits it already uploaded to my Google Drive! now its available to anyone Links are below this [I'm pretty sure if you have Rogers version you can update with this as well, but you need to have root to have your /efs partion backed up because in some cases it was reported lost.]
Firmware:
ICS 4.0.4 UCLJ3 Mirror 1 SamMobile(needs account) Mirror 2 My Google Drive (anyone can access no account required and fast speeds!-a txt file is included if you need more help you out on flashing it )
and here's also a guide on how to flash it!(if you are following this guide please use Bubor's TWRP as it is needed for KitKat ROMS)
*If you are not rooted /at&t version and want to update:
you can simply use Kies
If and after you updated though Kies, make sure you uninstall Kies before you install ODIN.
Basically follow this youtube video and install TWRP not CWM!!!
I can't stress how important it is to Have TWRP, CWM will simply not work, but if you installed CWM its not hard at all to change! Just flash this in CWM and your recovery will change to TWRP
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn879wTAXi4
If on mobile or non flash device click here
While watching this video please flash TWRP!!!!!
You should now be fully updated and rooted!!!
[BEFORE YOU FLASH]
This is not necessary if you are staying on your current network, but if you want to unlock your phone to another network,It would be cool to see this first: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1860003

[FLASHING]
Here is a list of currently active ROMS (as of 1/24/14)
(Bubor's, grtsarav's,and xdajog's ROMS) The only bugs which are in JB+(4.1+) include,No Bluetooh Headset (everything else works fine,BT speaker file transfer ect.) Fixed camera Rotation, meaning when you take a Picture it will always be rotated at 90 degrees, just rotate them in gallery.
Anyway the ROM I use is CRdroid 4.4.4,but if your looking for something a little more Stock based use sediROM.
But i'm not the one to tell you what ROM to get! Try them all! Or try just try one! What ever you like! All I know is you'll enjoy the life and freedom with a custom ROM!!!
*Please read if you have a JellyBean ROM* all Jellybean ROMS haven't been updated in awhile. If you would like a ROM that is guaranteed to have updates please choose a KitKat branch or use sediROM (which is ICS 4.04)

>All 4.x.x ROMS<*It has came to my attention that some apps aren't compatible with our phone anymore. This is due to a bug in the Nvidia GPU and NEON Instructions that our CPU is not compatible with.
Below I have provided the latest versions of affected apps that work with our phone:
Google Now (Search) 3.3.11.1069658-If GNL Says you need a newer version of search downgrade it
Google Now Launcher-Use this If The latest GNL says you need a newer version of search
Youtube 5.3.32-Some say the latest version works, but it crashes constantly. This one doesn't.
Google Camera 2.2.024 -Tested works great!
Google Maps 6.14.4 -the latest works but there's a bug in the NV Graphics that gives you a black screen when you leave the app and comeback to the same session o_0
4.4.x Gapps package from 03/16/14-Okay we lucked out here,I couldn't find an old Gapps package any where on the web containing compatible Google Now and guaranteed no F/Cing apps ,then I check an old folder I had on my phone. What do you know? I have the file saved from way back
If you installed a newer version of these apps that didn't work, just uninstall the updates and install the one provided!
also If you find an app no longer compatible with this phone let me know and I'll post an older version that does!

9: Let back up complete (can take some time depending how much stuff is backing up)

[F.A.Q] {new question added 5/30/14}
Q: A new update has been released for my phone do I need to Factory Reset my phone?
A: No just flash on top of it but make a backup first just in case the update has problems
Q: I'm coming from a different ROM (like OMNI ROM) can I restore my /Data or flash on top of my current ROM?
A: No, if you are doing something like that I would use Titanium Backup to backup your data and apps
Q: I'm coming from stock do I need to unlock my bootloader to install custom ROMS?
A: No all you have to do is have a custom recovery and you're good to go!
Q: I see I need to backup my EFS, is it really necessary?
A: Not really but, its not a bad idea to do it,download this,if you need a step by step guide click here
Q: Do I need to flash any Custom Kernels, GAPPS ect.?
A: All Bubor's ROMS have everything built in,but grtsarav's ROM requires a GAPPS package
more info on his ROM page
Q: I have the Rogers version of the i927 do I need to do anything special?
A: No all the ROMS are universal
Q: Why can't I just flash TWRP and a ROM without updating to 4.0.4 ICS first?
A: You could, but we say update first you can avoid unknown issues with Baseband (that's like sleep of death dropped calls ect.)

-UPDATED 3/25/14- *How to get a fully functional GNL (Google Now Launcher) it all works!
It's been released on Google Play!
Known issues: the always listening feature may make all sounds lag when using "Stock libs" (original sound drivers in "windows terms").Skype fix (tiny alsas) fixes this. Just type command from terminal when making a call, that's what I do.
read "Skype Fix" below for more info and how to install it
Older Versions(might need older Google Now?)
First Release
Second Release
------------------
*How to install Google's Documents UI (Google's new file explorer)
Download the apk >here<
1: after you downloaded the apk copy and paste into System>app
2a: if you are on CyanogenMod it will ask you if you want to over write the file, tap yes
2b: set the permissions to r-w-rr
3: reboot and watch the magic
-----------------
[KITKAT ONLY]
*How to have a custom wallpaper on your favorite KitKat ROM:
-Before we get started CRdroid has Custom wallpaper setting built in after build 5-
-CM11 also has it now where you can set a custom locksceen wallpaer (settings>themes>lockscreen wallpaper)-
Anyways if your ROM doesn't support it here's how to get it:
1:Basically you need to have XPOSED Frame work, you can get it freshly updated here
2: After you install Xposed Frame work installer, install and reboot
3: There are two routes you can take, you can download GravityBox and have more customization, but it does break some CM settings (theoretically its not supported, but I've used it and it works perfect,it also adds the AM/PM feature). The other route is Xposed lockscreen, which basically the title states what it does, customize your lock screen! The only feature it has is custom wallpaper for lockscreen
4: you can fetch GravityBox here and Xposed lockscreen here
5: MAKE SURE you activate your module you choose and don't have both active at the same time!
-------------
[SKYPE FIX]
*How to use Skype or VOIP apps with ease this also fixes the lagging sound issue with Google now/launcher! This Will work on any of our KitKat based ROM's:
1: flash This zip in Recovery:4.4.2 ROMS: >here<
4.4.3 ROMS: >here<
4.4.4 ROMS >here<
2: After you flashed that, reboot into system
3: Open Terminal Emulator (it's included in CM,but if you don't have it click here
4:in terminal type "su" to get root premissions
5:Run "alsas" command to switch audio stacks,at anytime to switch between GSM (regualr calling) and voIP (like skype ect.)
Notes:When you first flash the zip it will switch it to voIP-aware,CHANGES ARE PRESISTANT,meaning to have GSM calling you need to run the command from terminal everytime you want to switch between the two
-
For JellyBean ROM's (4.1-4.3)
1: Download this zip
2: Flash zip from recovery
3: The first time you flash the zip it will change it to voIP aware (so you can use skype or any other voip calling app)
4:to use GSM calling, simply flash the zip again! Basically flash when your done using Skype!

While flashing CM-11 Kitkat ROM using CWM, it gives an error status 7.
I tried deleting the assert clause as given here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2522762
But it give the same error status 7 : set_metadata_recursive changes failed
Somewhere I read that I need to use CWM 6.0.4.5 +. Help me out. Or give some link to latest CWM.
You need to use TWRP (team win recovery project) in the guide it states to flash TWRP not cwm, your in luck though, you can flash twrp through cwm, flash this: http://dualhoki.vim.hu/bubor/dev/twrp-i927/twrp-2.6.1.zip
Then try flashing cm 11

Hello guys, i have a few question about omnirom, what settings is good for performance in settings>performance>memory ?
and for what is SWAP int-sd card? it's good for performance? or just space?

If you don't know what settings will be good, don't touch them, they're mostly for fine-tuning system built-in app killer. You hardly can have much profit from changing them, only if you need a bit more RAM badly.
SWAP int-sd card is for using your sd card as internal memory (so you can install apps there). You should use it if 4 gb of internal memory is not enough for you (as it is for me as I'd like to install couple of 1-2 gb games). You will lose performance with swap if your SD card is less that 10 speed class.
Given that BT doesn't work in the newer ROMS (JB & KK), I regrettably had to revert back to 4.0.4. I found that I needed to replace the recovery with CWMR from TWRP in order to install one of DMAN's ICS ROMs. TWRP failed to install the 4.0.4 ROM.
After replacing the recovery, it is probably a good idea to backup the new ROM (JB or KK) using CWMR so that you can restore it if desired at a later time.

This is my SuperSlim-Stock Rom which i made because i dont think Sony will fix the AOSP Camera Driver Bug in the near future. The plan was to make the Stock Rom as near as possible to AOSP. This Rom is as Slim as possible without loosing main Camera function. Everything else which is not really necessary for using the Device or Android is removed, its probably the hardest debloading what is possible. I removed over 300 Apps, this took me more than two Weeks for testing. Now after addition of one Week using the Final Rom without issues i give it to you.
I also removed the Bootanimation, its now just the white Sony screen so dont wonder thats no bootloop. I forgot that i changed the Softkeys layout too and my layout is in this Backup. If you want to change it just use one of the Apps from playstore or one of the xposed modules.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES THAT MAY CAUSE YOUR DEVICE
Base:
Rom: Stock 32.2.A.0.224
Kernel: AndroPlusKernel v31 (please help keeping this kernel alive)

is this rom easier to run than the stock one? stupid question, but i may want to try it, but do want to use it as a daily driver, so is this rom daily driver compatible ? And could you provide some screenshots?

Not really, this list would be a whole page long and i didnt made one xD If you used the debload script, you have just deleted half of what you could.
Stock System has nearly 500 Apps, the debload script removes about 180 of them, my System has only 128 Apps installed.

What do you mean with "easier to run"? I use it as a daily driver. Screenshoots are not really necessary i think because its stock Rom and only thing which would be different with Stock Screenshoots is that i removed the stock sony launcher, the sony mini launcher is now the default one. But you can use every Launcher you want even reinstall the stock launcher from playstore. If i would make some screenshoots you would only see my Novalauncher

How can i be sure? The Rom is made for having a System without Sony Apps. The Stock Launcher and such things should work, but the special Sony Apps like Navigon for Xperia could have problems detecting that this is a Xperia device.
