Got my hands on the SGP Stehen leather case, which is a folio style case made from plastic and leather. This case features a leather flap for screen protection that can be turned into a viewing stand, which is fantastic. You'll get great protection from this one, since the leather and plastic combination is very shock absorbant.

I recently got an S6 Edge and bought the Ice case from Urban Armor Gear. I'm a dedicated UAG user; I've had nothing but good experience with these cases since I first got one for my S3, and have subsequently used their cases for my S4 and 5 as well. In addition to the case I also got a JETech glass protector for my screen. A review on Amazon said it was compatible with the UAG, but when I tried to put my phone with the screen protector on in the case, the screen protector popped up around the top and bottom of the screen where the UAG hugs the phone. While trying to fit the glass underneath the case's lip, the screen protector cracked. I was wondering if any S6 Edge users with a UAG know of any good brand of glass protectors that's UAG compatible or if there's just a certain technique to installing them. Thanks!
I've had my Redmi Note 7 for about 6 months now, and it's still in perfect condition. This is due mainly to careful handling, but also to my protecting it with a good case and screen protector. The combination of case and protector that works best for me is the Spigen Rugged Armor case and the Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector.
The Supershieldz screen protector is case-friendly and it doesn't interfere with the case, since it doesn't extend all the way to the edge of the screen. The Spigen Rugged Armor isn't cheap (US $24.99), but it's worth it for the protection it offers. Alternatively, you could save some money and get the Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear case instead (US $12.99), but I don't think it's quite as robust as the Rugged Armor, and the clear case tends to turn brown with extended exposure to sunlight.

My best setup so far:
a. Case: Ringke Fusion X,
+ pros: fully protect backcover, screen, buttons and camera
- minus: a bit heavy
b. Screen protector: forget, the brand I use hydrogel matte type,
+ pros: nice grip, does not change color and easy on eyes,
- minus: easy to wear (less than 8 month I have to replace it due scratch)
c. Other: Generic short lanyard to attach to case
later on I want to add usb-c wireless qi receiver.
I'm having a hard time deciding which of the two cases to buy. For those who already own both or either of the cases, which is more comfortable when using the cover display using one hand? Also, what's your experience writing with the S Pen since there's a big hump due to the hinge protection? Thanks!
If you use the spen. Don't go with the VRS with durafoam hinge protection. It has small but powerful magnets that makes the spen malfunction when used in the inner screen. But there is one VRS that has similar hinge protection with the supcase. That one is good, using it right now.
