T-mobile or not? - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hey this might sound extremely stupid but please answer. Is SM-N9005 international or T mobile? Im asking this because my phone boots with T mobile theme on startup, but its model is (written in about device) SM-N9005. Im really confused. Please help.

So when rooting I should seek for international roms or anything, right?

Pull back cover and look at model number. Then go to that area for roms
TWEAKED 1.0 NOTE 3

Your phone can flash Tmobile roms, because it shares the same snapdragon 800 soc as the USA versions. Even if your phone is international you can flash both your international roms and USA variants as long as you enter apn settings for your carrier.

totaly different radios bro it will brick
based on what I've read, T-Mobile's note 2 has the same hardware as the international version. just different radio chip, so theoretically, delete modem file from ROM should do the trick. just my 0.02 tho.
Thats what im thinking. Grqnted, I dont know anything but im very curious if you replaced the modem file if we could run n7100 roms. Can we flash n7100 kernels?

since it's t-mobile branded, there won't be many modem choices. so i wouldn't touch the stock modem at all just in case if you wanna return your device later on.

Setting -> about > model no.
There you can see your phone model.
N7100 is note 2 3g
N7105 is note 2 lte
There are other variants too, like carriers model. Verizon, AT&T and so on

At&t S3

I have a question I'll be buying a At&t S3 from someone on Friday it's not unlocked but I'll be unlocking it for tmobile cause that's what I use currently. So the question is once I unlock it and root it do I use tmobile S3 roms or do I use the AT&T custom roms ?

AT&T roms only. Your hardware is still AT&T so your software should be AT&T.
If you use a rom for another phone company's phone, you risk the chance of bricking.

Every rom in the AT&T section (aka here) will work with your phone as well as some in the N7105 section but i would suggest just sticking to the At&t section
Ok kinda what he said^^^^^^^. Also everything won't work on your phone, especially anything with the AT&T modem/radio included. So I would make sure what ever you decide to use that its modem free. Since your using a T-Mobile GN2. I just loaded up SKY NOTE 9. On my TMO GN2. Works great for me to...

Don't use any Rom that says N7100....
That is the international device...
And is not compatible...
You will brick your phone using those...g

Which Note 4 Variants can be perma-rooted?

Hwy guys I have a verizon note 4 and it is not root able at all. I have been wanting to stick with this great device but I miss root. I miss the freedom and capabilities it unlocked. I have been wondering which variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is permanently rootable ? Is it a different US carriers variant? Or an international one that has this ability? I appreciate the help guys, thanks in advance.
I think the Note 4 on US Cellular & T-Mobile are the only 2 that don't have locked bootloaders and are rootable along with the international version too.
