Numerous ones on japanese-language sites, as the Z1f (home-market model name) has been out for some time in Japan.

So is it considered they are the same performance wise?

As per the performance no doubt they are the same..

Arc S 6MP vs 8MP?

I just make a comparism by taking a picture in my room between the 6MP and 8MP.. I could see the 6MP shows more high quality than the 8MP.. but WHY?

Did you check the image in a larger screen? Laptop, tv etc.
I can just crop an 8MP image to get a 6MP one.
And you have a narrower field of view when using 6MP 16:9 photo size than 8MP.

i dont understand lol
In short. Quality is just the same. when selecting a 6mp the camera app just cut a 6mp portion from the 8mp.
Good example is..
1 Whole Paper = 8mp
1/2 = 4mp
1/8 = 2mp
but the 6mp fit 720p or 1080p screen, and 8mp doesnt
NoobSEowner said:

Simply because of the aspect ratio of 720p/1080p screens is 16:9. 8MP of the arc is 4:3.

then why people choose 8mp while the 6mp ratio is a size for computer resolution?

8mp is bigger you can make it smaller if you need to. 6mp is smaller you can't make it bigger

[Q] LG p930 camera lens specs

Not sure if this is the proper forum for my question.
Anyone know what type of lens the LG p930 has for its rear camera? I Googled for info but all I could find was that it's an 8mp. I'm curious about the lens specs because it has really good depth of field that I can't even get with my current DSLR lens.
Thanks for any info

All were amazed by the time I shown the photos taken by my P936!!!
LG rocks this time! (Except software upgrade still...)
I have attached a photo as an example, cheers!

I am jealous
How is the grip with the white xperia ZL? Does it feel nice in the hand? Does it have a plastic slippery feel or some kind of matte rubber finish?
The grip is just really nice... It hasn't got a textured back like the black one,
but the polycarbonate is finished with a kind of matte rubber finish
Will take more / macro photo's when I have some time!
Bro, you should totally do a video review or some sort of video. I can't decide to buy this or the Nexus 4. Gah!!!

I will
Can't wait, the white version is GORGEOUS. Looks better than the One.
Sold the One, the ZL is the only phone left
Gonna root it I think and customize it CLB-style.
My ZL has got the option to unlock the bootloader on 'yes' so that's also nice!
I am so jealous you got both htc one and zl
Have customized some of my homescreens with the modded Xperia Launcher (for the Xperia Z)
Some extra info about software, bootloader and screen:
I love the out-of-the-box gallery application from Sony:
I've imported a 6503 model to work in the Netherlands with HSDPA+ (and in the future with LTE 42Mbps)
And I've made a movie of the notification LED of the ZL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvIcddadEnk&feature=youtu.be

It's 1280x720, or 720p. Not 720x1080, that would be stupid aspect ratio.

He originally said the resolution was 720x1080, which could've either been the weird aspect ratio, or a mistake between saying a 720p or 1080p screen.

maybe that's not a mistake, 1280x720 is landscape resolution
therefore, if the device designed for potrait mode,
the resolution is 720x1080 for 720p screen
and 1080x1920 for 1080p screen (e.g Xperia Z)
its widht x height in pixel

What's so hard for you to understand? He accidentally said the screen had a resolution of 720x1080, which was wrong - I corrected him, he edited it. IT DOESN'T HAVE a 720x1080 SCREEN!
Why would such a large screen have such a comparatively low resolution?
check out below press release
