[Q] App whitelisted in StaminaMode but still preventing it - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I know several threads have been made about SM and it's difficulties, but I'm just wondering why apps that are in essence the same (walkman - tunein radio, both streaming audio) are still handled differently by SM, and couldn't find an answer.
It's like this: as the SM whitelist gives apps access to networking, apps like Whatsapp and Walkman work just fine, without the "this is app is preventing stamina mode" messages. SM is enabled, and only those apps get network.
But now I have the TuneIn Radio app, and this one is handled wrong by SM. It keeps giving me messages that the app is preventing SM, even though it's whitelisted.
Does anyone experience something like this, with TuneIn Radio, or even another app?
Thanks in advance.

Removing MEdia Net , Cellular Video and AT&T Music

Hey everyone
I live in DR, I got a phone that was programmed to work with AT&T, therefore has the apps I mentioned (MEdia Net , Cellular Video and AT&T Music)
I wanna UNINSTALL/DELETE these apps cause they wont allow me to connect to the internet using opera, which sucks cause its free!
so...how can i do this? does anyone know the registry entry that must be deleted in order to do this?
I had the same question when I first got my Tilt. Here's a link that explains removing the bloatware.

Do yourself a favor however and flash a new rom alltogether.... it's worth it. Good luck and have fun.

[Q] Youtube App: This can't be viewed

Hey, I receive a message on my agalxy Nexus that says *This can't be viewed* when im on the home tab via the youtube app. Anyone have any idea what this might be? other people say they don't get that error. Screen shot attached
Not sure what may be the root cause of this issue - I assume this happens every time you try to use the app?
If so, you could try clearing the YouTube app's data to see if that resolve the problem.
Beyond that I've got nothing...
I wonder if it has anything to do with user's not allowing certain videos to viewed by a mobile device. Can they do the same thing with a list?
Maybe it was due to me flashing a radio? I mean everything else works but that app.
I would think that if the radios allow data to be transferred, it shouldn't effect the data transfer through youtube.

Rooted Oneplus3. Can't load any social media apps or some websites.

Hello all,
I have a rooted Oneplus3 running Experience ROM. About 3 days ago, randomly all my social media apps ceased working. Whenever I open each one, I get a message saying "check internet connection" or if I try to load specific websites on Chrome it says "this site can't be reached. Checking the connection."
I am unsure how to solve this other than doing a new wipe (which I really don't want to do).
Has anyone had a similar situation and found a resolution?
Thanks.
Never has this issue. Did you check your network settings? Try toggling airplane mode. If nothing works then take titanium backup of your apps and reflash the ROM.

Question ROG Phone 6 on AT&T DUO Video calls and network disconnecting

My ROG Phone 6 (USA Version) on AT&T network is having an issue with mobile signal every time I use Google DUO (now Google Meet) every time I am on WIFI my mobile connection, connects and disconnects randomly but continuously until I finish the call or turn off WIFI, it only happens on this app, to the point that it can force a reboot sometimes.
I have also tried different video call apps such as whatsapp, telegram, facebook messenger, and the problem does not happen on such apps.
I have tried several things that came to my mind, such as, turn off 5G, turn off 4G, turned off seamless connection between WIFI and Mobile data, I turned off mobile data while on WIFI, I tried turning off Dual Band WIFI, I switch SIM card slot, I tried multiple combinations of all this options and still doing the same thing.
Has anyone faced the same issue, or is it only me? can anyone else on AT&T try such thing on Google DUO?
Maybe it's an app issue (are on latest version of app?) - look at app review/ feedback & try other VOIP apps (e.g Zoom/ Teams etc) to see if same issue, & also Meet on another phone if possible.

I have tried various other apps for video calling apps already, I read DUO app reviews on play store, but can't find a similar issue to mine on the reviews

Question No games running when on cellular data

Hey there guys! Maybe someone else has run into this issue and knows how to fix it.
For some weird issue, none of the games I run will go past the Auth part when trying to run them outside of WiFi, I am at a loss on how to fix this.
I have already turned off mobile data restriction, updated Google services, tried launching the games from game launcher, app drawer and Google play games directly and yet nothing.
All streaming apps and web browsers run fine.
I have also tried turning UWB off, limiting phone to LTE instead of 5G to no good.
The 2 games I currently play are Eternal Evolution and Mighty Doom, different developers, different authentication methods and both don't work.
Oh, I have also tried with and without power savings but make no difference seeing as it all works fine on WiFi.
Sime help would be very much appreciated, I'm already on OneUI 5.1 w/ March update
