How to reboot Nokia X into bootloader

Can any one tell me how to reboot into bootloader in nokia x? If I reboot it into bootloader from restart menu, it stuck into nokia logo.

what ROM are you using?
you can first turn off your phone, then press & hold power + volume down button for 10 to 15 seconds

Are u sure..?? I did 'fastboot devices' in adb when I rebooted my nokia x into bootloader and it is showing the nokia logo... But adb did'nt show my device...

if you already installed Nokia x usb drivers, it will show your phone
or if its not, you can check Control Panel >Hardware and Sound >Device Manager
and if there is any triangle from the list (means unknown device) that show as 'Nokia X (RM-980)' or similar
that means the bootloader driver not yet installed
this happens sometime after I change my ROM, sorry for my bad english

For me, sometimes after installing adb drivers, neither adb nor fastboot (bootloader) connected to pc
so if this happen, update the driver manually via device manager in windows

Press Volume Down Button and Power button the same time.... then release power button and wait 15-16 seconds without releasing the Vol. Down button. And you will be entered into boot loader.

solution::; bro just open your device cover remove bettry. then try home buttone power button and volume up butto.. press these three button at same time for 10 second u will get recovery mode .

The best way to get this done is to use Android Debug Bridge (adb).
Get Android SDK on your PC, plug in your Android Device, and run adb reboot recovery in ADB shell.
That command restarts an Android device in recovery mode.

when going to stock recovery it shows secure boot error 1003
and when try to boot into download mode it shows secure boot error 1004 on the upper cornr of the phn...

one thing i forget to say that my phone works normally. i mean in every day driver its ok. but cant boot into download or recovery?
and i tried your link but nothng?

I got very similar problem. Phone works fine but download mode shows error 1014. But I can boot to recovery mod via adb command "adb reboot recovery". Try to setup adb drivers on ur pc & put ur phone into debugging mode. & Did u try the method mentioned by pengpengback ?

Yes i did. But When i bought this phn i hardrest it from recovery but for second time i cant boot into recovery and it gives me error code 1013.
Download the file, write on 16hb m card put in phn then start but phn start normally. I dont undrstand if i m missing some thng...

Switched off the phone, removed the betray then press and hold volume - and power up the phone. when lg logo appears i release the power button for a sec and then press hold but nothing. then i removed the betray and press and hold power and volume down keys simultaneously for 4 or 5 seconds. recovery screen appears saying loading recovery but on upper left corner it shows secure boot error code 1002. i also tried to boot into download mode by holding volume up and putting cable into phone to connect with pc but same problem with different code. error code 1013.

Vibe P1 stuck at LENOVO LOGO

Hi Guys, my device was running very well on Resurrection Remix since a month.
Today I was trying to WIPE and Reinstall the ZIP files. But in TWRP mode, after WIPE I have accidently clicked on POWER OFF option without installing ZIP file.
Since then whenever I press the POWER Button the mobile gets stuck at LENOVO LOGO for few secs and gets turned off and then immediately BLUE LED gets ON ( forever).
Tried with few key combinations but nothing worked. ( Unfortunately Volume Up key is not working)
Can't get into RECOVERY and FASTBOOT MODES since ADB commands r not working.
When I connected to PC, device gets detected as QHSUSB_BULK.
Qualcomm HS-USB Diagnostics 9006(COM4)
SP Flash Tool also didn't work

The Device is Bricked, I believe
Plz help me guyzzz

1. get mini partition tool, install it
2. connect your device to pc
3. DELETE ALL PARTITION on your phone
4. format the FULL phone to ext4 format
5. reconnect to the pc
6. u have diag 9008

That's only half part of recovery.
Firstly you don't need sp flash tool. You need qpst. Let us know when you reach daig 9008 at com port. Then we will continue next part of recovery stage.

Wt to do if it does not detected as 9008 even after deleting all partitions and format as u said.

Deleted All Partitions and Created a Primary Partition with EXT4. But the process not yet started.. showing Apply Pending Operations.

My Vibe is Back

Here is how to turn off the phone without waiting for complete discharge...
Hold power for 10 sec and keep holding
The phone will restart showing a black screen for a moment before getting to the lenovo logo.. immediately hold vol down with power
Don't remove your fingers from both buttons
The phone will restart again.. don't remove your fingers..
Now it will turn off
If it restarts again just keep pressing both buttons until it turns off
Now that the phone is off.. connect the phone to pc while holding down vol up..
Now you're in qfil download mode
Use qfil to flash stock rom
Try rooting and installing recovery again

Actually when I go to device manager it says unknown device while I have installed Qualcomm drivers.

Try other pc or other drivers. Or poweroff phone and press volume + and until it connect

Tried with the qcn restore option in QFIL but now it seems there is an issue with the connection. I followed the steps:

Hi everyone. Just like in the title of my post. I've just bought a TP-LINK NEFFOS Y5L smartphone, and I started to looking information, how I can get root for this device. And I found it:

I've flash this recovery, and it's working fine. The next step to root was to download the zip package from the chainfire site (currently abandoned, but u may use magisk from xda) :

U may also try to boot your phone in this recovery throu fastboot boot image.img

I am a bit new... It seems I can't use flashboot mode.
I have DL ADB, then when I key : /adb devices, I see my Y5L.
Then I try to relaunch my device by pressing the VOL + / Restart button => I reach a picture of android and 3 japanese (or chinese characters).
When I plug the device to my PC, it seems that nothing happen (like it was not recognised by the PC).
Du you have any idea?

Hello. It is a very annoying thing, but also very simple to solve. If u see the broken robot when u trying to enter to recovery, u must push and hold power button and short press vol+. But if you want to go to recovery or fastboot mode, u don't have to power down your phone. Just go to cmd (or whatever) console and write:
" adb reboot recovery" to boot up you device in recovery mode or
"and reboot bootloader" to boot into fastboot mode

Can someone write a tutorial please, it's the first time i try to root with TWRP and i don't understand if the bootloader method for emample is from the device or from the pc because i can enter to the official android device (Y5L ANDROID 6.0.1 ) recovery menu but when i choose to boot at bootloader the phone freeze at the logo. Thanks a lot for any help.

1. pressing the VOL up + Power button => reached a picture of android and 3 Chinese characters (means no command !)
2. pressing again the VOL up + Power button => then you will reached recovery mode.

I had seem this polish method but I get afraid because there is no method to recovery to original rom.
I hope to see a custom rom in next days.

Trying with volume-up + power shows the broken android logo, from there, holding power + vol-up gets me to recovery but neither fastboot nor adb detect the device. Selecting the "reboot to bootloader" option there ends in the same lock on the tp-link logo.
(I did activate the "unlock bootloader" in developer options.)
Any ideas on how to proceed? thx in advance.

Yeah i also had this problem, open at the android menu your phone and make sure you have enable developer settings and USB Debugging, install Wondershare MobileGo at your pc ( you don't need to install the app at your phone) and connect your phone with the pc, wait to find the drivers at the charge usb selection and after that swap from your phone to all 4 settings of usb connections, mobilego will download 4 drivers total and after that it will read it.
I cant post a link but if you have Chrome to translate from polish to english there is a new simple tutorial, go at the first link at the op post and at the site click at the red text at the beginning next to "twrp" text and translate to english for guide.
