I recently rooted my Micromax Canvas 4. After its rooted, it was working flawlessly. further i installed Chaifire 3d. After intalling CF3D drivers from the app, it tried to reboot, but is wnfortunately freezing at canvas 4 logo screen. I need an urgent help.
Is this an Brick case im facing?
How can i Save phone?

The problem is im a little less able to be called a developer. I tried searching it but didnt got an original Rom, the one micromax uses. It would be very helpfull if u post a link. I'll manage to download sp flash tools on my own.

downloaded the ROM and im Stuck where usb is not detected. i tried installing different drivers like pdanet, cynus t1 drivers. what should i do? its still searching.

try follows option
first you have done little research about the app
if you have cwm try to go to recovery and factory reset device and wipe data
but may be you didn't install than try this you say that canvas 4 logo seen hence may be you are able to get into recovey
press and hold vol up down and power keynow u see recovery mode and factory mode
press vol up key for go to recovery mode now see like this
use only vol up for scrolling and go to recovery mode then press vol downnow u see wipe reset menu hare
go to wipe/reset with vol key's5.to select use options keynow reset finish...............
try it and work for you than tell me

Open your device manager on your pc then plug the phone via USB. After a second or two I new device will pop up on the device manager but will only stay there for a few seconds, right when it appears right click on it and choose properties then drivers, then update driver then (at least on Windows 7) choose browse my computer and use wherever you put the driver files. That will install the driver.
Once the drivers are installed unplug the phone and open the Flash tool on the pc. Click scatter loading. And direct it to the Scatter file of the Rom. Then click download. now plug the phone back in and it should just flash it. When you get the green circle it's done.

And no, it's not bricked. Mine did the same thing trying to use Chainfire 3D. If you follow the directions it will work. Oh yeah, the first time you turn it on it may not boot. Just hold the power button and restart again and once the boot screens come up you will see the android is updating apps and it will boot.

Hi guys and thanks to all those who advised me
There is good news for those who have hard bricked phone ( ie the phone don't even have a boot loader, cant start , nor recognized by PC, or go into recovery.... no red light when connected to charger) , i formated via sptool the bootloader and the phone was totally dead....
most said it not possible to revive it .....its in dead zone..... go to service center and change processor.
the new is for all local micromax , karbonn, spice (chinese brand) phone its simple and cost the least and the service is available for just Rs350/- ( $6/-), that to in under 10mins......
jtag service for just Rs1500/- to 2000/- ( $25 to 30/-) for branded phones
if anyone has problems ( bricking) specially in Goa please do post will direct you to the local guy center..

boot loop and no recovery Canvas a310 nitro (no forum for nitro)
I have rooted my Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 using Kingoroot and installed TWRP recovery before. Also I had installed a Custom ROM of Coolpad F1 from needrom<dot>com. There wasnt any problem till now except the auto rotation. Today i formated my sd card and switched off my phone and on reboot it came to boot loop. It is not booting the ROM and also the TWRP recovery. Shows only the first screen and goes off and on to the screen again. As it does not boot to recovery for me to wipe cache and dalvik, I tried to install drivers again to flash recovery using fastboot, but as its on a boot loop problem and its not standing by for me to install drivers, I am totally stuck. Please help me ASAP.

But now I am stuck in a boot loop i think ( it won't do anything but showing me the lg sign )
I tried downloading the kdz file but there isn't 1 site for the Dutch one @ NLD/Netherlands (tbh there is but all the links are down)
I can't boot into the cwm either and I also can't do hard reset...
Can anyone tell me what to do?

I found a sollution for this.
Download LG Mobile Support tool ( http://lg-support-tool.en.lo4d.com/ )
Put your phone in download mode "Hold the VolumeUP + VolumeDOWN Button and plug in the usb cable from your device to your pc [DON'T PRESS THE POWER BUTTON], let it install the drivers. ( To be sure it found you'r drivers, you should press on : Install Drivers
Once you installed your driver of the e98x ( mine is e986 ) Press on Extra functions - Upgrade-error recovery.
Make sure it found your device and make sure you are connected to the internet "IT WONT WORK WITHOUT INTERNET CONNECTION"
Launch it and it will reset your phone to new ( it did for me )
Don't get mad if you lose you're data T_T this worked for me so it should work for you to

Nope, aint working since it says that my battery isn't fully charged. but i even tried the battery of a friend of mine and it says the same..
are you able to enter into the recovery by pressing pOWER + VOLUME UP ? the device must be turned off and to be sure, pull battery and charging cable off and put battery back to do the pressing combo.

please do not mistake cwm and recovery mode, because cwm is your recovery mode.

1. connect ur phn to ur pc and install flashtool from step 4.
2.install drivers of ur mbl
3.download the kdz firmware file u want from here http://www.lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=25
4.now follow the steps provided in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2797190
5.its better to choose cse flash as i did that(when i chosen normal flash,the update stopped saying some error.so disconneted my net connection and tried again.it worked)
6.if u follow the above steps correctly,ull get ur phn back within 6 minutes.
(sorry for my english) and please let me know if ur phn is back.

Unfortunately I don't have the 986 and didn't catch that was your specific model. If you're in a bricked mode already and have access to your original FW then its worth a shot for recovery. YMMV

can you at least turn on the phone? if not nothing can do other than going to the service center. but since your phone is rooted ,your warranty is already voided so you might have to pay for repairing.

you don't have to go to download mode to restore stock using sp flash tool right? I've done it without even turning on the phone. I think that's how you supposed to restore. Try like this: http://androidxda.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool if that doesn't work, you probably have to go to a service center.

probably yes because when you rooted the phone the super user binary goes to /system/bin or /system/xbin folder
and it won't be deleted unless the phone is updated. so the best way is find someone who repairs the phone with jtag and then you can still keep your warranty.

Just remove the battery and try to flash the stock rom through sptools

install android one toolkit on your pc. then from there flash a custom recovery to your phone using adb. now download a stock rom and place it in your sd card. then flash the custom rom from custom recovery. i hope it will work.

Bricked & USB not recognized
My micromax canvas a1 is bricked and tried flask it using sp flash 5.14 but the phone is not recognised in the flash
I have Canvas A1, it gets detected and SP starts flashing and completes it. Shows Green tick (ok) but the phone doesn't boot up. How the phone got bricked? Well one of my idiot friend tried flashing with SP flash tool, don't know what he did but after that my phone never booted up. The service centre told they don't have motherboard for the device available. Is there any way to fix it. Can someone please list down all the drivers that are needed, the ROM that has to be flashed and all the steps to take to fix the device. It would be really helpful for everyone who have their device bricked.
guys i cant get inside of phone idk somehow i messed up now when i switch on the mobile the android sign is running and i cant get inside.So i got stucked then after some google research finally reached xda and then i download Android A1 rom file.Now the new problem araises is that "signature verifiaction failed"... is there any method to solve this problem?

Are u on stock or costum recovery
Guys my phone isn't working now so I went to the service center.They said to replace the motherboard which will be costing around 2000-3000. And I m not gonna do it,
So its better to scrap it. If anyone needs it let me know .

So i went to recovery. Mode did a system restore .n the problem became much worse..now the system.apk stopped. So i went to the service center they flashed it n it seemed to work normally..atleast fr somedays..
Now again the same problem started.. But when i did a restore from recovery mode. The phone didn't boot up it was stuck in the manufacturers logo. I went to the service center thy tried software flashing but it didnt work. They said the phones motherboard is dead .

hard bricked canvas A1
i bricked my phone while flashing a new rom using sp flash tools and now its not powering on nor going into recovery mode and the good thing is that the phone's preloader is working but sp flash tool is not working its hard bricked.
what should i do?

my phone is not being detected by the sp flash tool , it gets detected for a few seconds then again the connection is lost.

MMx aq4501 bricked deleted preloader
i done all things for flashing. nothing is going to work. sp tool not detecting adb drivers not detecting. MMX service centre said you have to replace board worth Rs.2500... what should i do. plz help.

I was flashing my old micromax canvas a1 & while doing so i opt option in sp flash tool format all+ download & now phone is not turning on...
I'm able to flash rom again but phone does not turn on..
Windows also recognizes phone & then disconnected it for every second ... It keep going connecting & disconnecting..
I think i formatted bootloader ..
So i try to flash simple bootloader also but it also not make my phone turning on .
have you found a solution? I have the same problem?

Trying to search but no one can give answers because this phone is already not in existence now in market...
But i know there should definitely be any solution for it !!
I also did same thing, still have that dead canvas a1. waiting for someones answer for solution.

Same here... But only one solution i can find yet is to use usb jig/jtag to again entering in recovery mode.. but i did not try yet.. but as much i read on Google , buy from Amazon usb jig/jtag & just connect it in charging pin slot & phone gets start in recovery mode !!
