What steps would I need to take to make this happen I can't find one active dev for the phone at all last one bricked his so I'm at a loss here could I please get some real help and not be badgered about this

Hello all im new here I have tried to figure out if this can be done I have searched for 3 days now and cant see an answer.. I would like to unlock and root my HTC one X that is running 4.1.1.. so that I can remove all the rogers software since i am now using it on fido..
Please someone inform me if this can be done. I have found all these tools like the all in one toolkit but it doesnt say if it will work with 4.1.1 and software 3.17...

The process is exactly the same for jb phones. Use the toolkit if you want, it'll work.

I'm brand new to rooting, but since i've heard you can make your phone faster (games, apps, etc) i have decided that i want to root it
anyway, since english isn't my native language, i would prefer a video guide instead of only text-based.
The problem is, up until an hour ago all the guides were how to root your one x from android 4.1.1 and down, and since i have 4.2.2 i wouldn't risk having my One X bricked.
Now, i found these two guides, and i just want to ask if it will work on my HTC One X with android 4.2.2? (Btw this is my first post so i can't post links yet )

I have an htcone vx which i rooted and devunlocked and placed a costumrom from xda. The wifi feature didnt work so i messed with it and tried to flash back a stock image i found on the internet but when i did it the phone wouldnt boot right anymore. The first screen that appeared said htc one like normal but little red word would appear saying something like: this is for developers purpose etc....... Once in a while it would boot up to the costum rom and it wouldnt let me in saying that talk process wasnt responding orworking. and that i guess the system wasnt responding either. i would liek to know a STOCK IMAGE ORIGINAL FOR MY HTC ONE VX IS FROM AT&T. if anyone would tell me where to get it and the steps to flashing the STOCK ROM i woudl apreciate it!!!

Hi, is there any custom rom for HTC 830. i know it's an outdated device, but i came to a dead end searching for a rom so is there any hidden one , any suggestion to change anything about this device software is welcomed.
I think this will be good and easy to make custom rom because Htc 816 is old than this phone and have so much of roms i think there some way to make i support you to find some good developer to make this ... thank you
