[Q] Huawei Ascend P6 3G Problem

I bought huawei P6 from china type T00
When I come back to Jordan I can not activate 3G on my phone only 2G, because the phone is limited to china 3G network(type T00 not U) not universal I need your help to solve the problem
note:
operertor name: cmcc
country name : cn
iwant to change it to
operator name: hw
country name :mea
please help to do that and how

Root and install B125 International Version.

I think that B120 is much better

make sure your phone is exactly the same version,
stock rom international version is 8gb internal memory, single simcard with external microsd slot.
some chinese version is 16gb internal memory, dual simcard without microsd slot
no need to root, just update to international version, download the rom and put it in your internal memory or microsd card and do the update..

i check the phone information and the phone version is p6-t00v1,and the phone storge is 8gb internal memory and single simcard with external microsd slot. ,i want to know from where can i download rom

No 3G
Heey guys
I bought a ascendp6 but its from china ( im in Eu) , it is a Acend p6 T00 , the problem is, is that i dont have 3g I tired a lot of things and I dont know how to fix this problem pls help !!

There is no way to get 3G on T00 . It has different HW radio module than U00/U06. T00's is TD-SCDMA/GSM, while U0x one is WCDMA / GSM.

The simple answer is ‘No’. If you want to use 3G a 3G data connection and you do not live in China, then TD-SCDMA will not work. However, if you do not require 3G and only rely on 2G/GSM networks and Wi-Fi then a TD-SCDMA phone should happily work on most GSM frequencies meaning you can make calls, send SMS and browse the web at EDGE speed (slow download and surfing).

would prejudice about to buy this phone over the course etotalk version dualsim you think the rom p6 are fine on normal p6s?
I would say a naysayer, but needrom on the same rom you have access to flash both on p6 p6s that .... I'm confused ..... do you think?
will be released when the Italian version of this rom the terminal will be also compatible with the Chinese version dualsim what I am going to buy?

In dual sim, one of the sim i think is mobile version(CDMA):

Not sure though.
The dual sim also means, it will have no memory card slot. The memory card slot is replaced with a sim slot.
Keep the phone you have for now, and wait for the MWC to finish. Its is 3 or 4 days. There will be many new phones showcased. You'll get to buy P7 (in a one or two months) or something better else with same price as P6S. Or if not impressed, you can buy the P6S after the MWC.

I have TCL S950 and Huawei P6S Dual Sim (very nice phone, bought by etotalk). I can say GPS and Camera from Huawei P6S are better than TCL.

Chinese Rom to European

Hi all,
Sorry for obviously being a noob. I am from Western Europe but bought my HTC Desire 816 in China and of course, as expected, there are no Google apps on it and even when I install Google Play store manually it doesn't launch the app.
I am thinking about whether or not I can put a different rom on the phone, a European (Dutch) one, or how does that work ?
Can anyone give me some advise please

Now you have the European version too from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52995489. But this is a single sim version. If you or anyone happen to find the dual sim english version, that would be of very help for me as I have soft bricked it recently and unable to find the RUU for that.

Unfortunately you cannot do that. You have to wait for the proper dual sim English version like me.

It would be wiser to use dual sim firmware rather than single sim firmware

I was worried too but I tried to use the normal a520f firmware and it worked fine.
BTW Some apps may not work because they will assume you are rooted eg. S HEALTH and secret mode on browser but you can actually root to get around this by editing a line in build.prop

I'm on the same boat, only with the A3: I've bought my phone as an A320F/DS (that's what the box says, and indeed it has double SIM), but when you check Settings--»About phone--»Model name, it only says A320F (without the DS). And then when you look for firmware updates in Samsung website, you only find for the A320F. Might it be that A320F/DS is only a second, alternative denomination for the A320F, being both identical? (Same would happen with the A7.)

It's one year since your question, but still my answer may help others:
I've flashed a SM-A320F stock firmware on my SM-A320F/DS and it works perfectly. I believe that the A series firmwares are exactly the same for single SIM and dual SIM models.

In trying to sort this out for the s7 g935f/ds, I believe I was told that indeed the F firmware is the correct firmware for both 1 and 2 sim models. There was no FDS firmware at all.

I do not have a Verizon Sim card but Orange (French operator), so I would like to put the phone with an unlock version (XAA?)
Is it possible ?
Or a more suitable firmware for France (even if the processor is an exynos in France and here a snapdragon)
How to do it please?

If you just bought it. You may be in a difficult situation. Verizon does a sim card lock for 60 days. You have to use it under Verizon's network for the 1st 60 days.

No, I haven't received it yet but it's a second-hand model that has more than 60 days so a priori no problem there

If your phone is already Carrier/Verizon Unlocked, then you can Flash the Unlocked Firmware.
