Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our G+ Community: http://community.carbon-rom.com This is where we spend the bulk of our time and the best way to reach us and other community members. We update and frequent this community far more than XDA, simply due to time constraints and the convenience of G+.
5) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Thank you for your work I'm enjoying the ROM so far very fast and no problems to speak of so far but not tried the camera yet.
Also I may have found a bug but I'm not sure, the carbon settings quick setting tile does not work.

Ok will see in next build...and don t get it twisted guyz...idk bugs list of cm11 but it will probably be the same

One thing I've noticed is that WhatsApp can't seem to read my contacts. Contacts are there in the dialer, but everyone shows up as numbers only in WhatsApp (on all my previous conversations). When I view my contacts in WhatsApp, only one contact shows up of the probably 50 that are usually there.
I restored WhatsApp from titanium.
I know that app issues like this usually don't belong on ROM threads, but I've restored WhatsApp hundreds of times on dozens of on multiple devices and the contcontactse never had a problem showing ROMs.
Not sure how to provide more info here. Could a logcat help? Is anyone else facing this?
Everything else is working AMAZINGLY and I love all the features.

Idk try give me logcat yeah, i ll see if something show up,

You should rename Chronus to cLock in the OP, since the name was changed recently.
Quite funny that the error 6 bug in the build has also found its way to this rom from LS. Does this mean its literally just a renamed version that could also be called beta 4?
just flashed it, looking good. one question, how can i use CM's default launcher? never liked Nova and all the other custom launchers. thanks!
EDIT

It froze for me at evry boot, no matter what language was set. Fortunately i use SwiftKey as keyboard.
By the way, i did a very clean istall (all Wipes, Factory Reset and Formatting System).
I am really interested in this ROM. There seems to be a great team behind the scene.
Could someone compare this ROM to MiNCO v6 with franco r264?
Does this ROM run with franco kernel?
And which kernel is included? An own one? ^^ Are the comprehensive speed enhancements, including Linaro -O3 and processor-specific optimizations lost if flashing another kernel?
Thanks in advance guys! Followed you on G+ and joined also your community there.
in case anyone is wondering, the delay in seeing the boot animation is due to added support for boot audio. we haven't included any in there, but if you want, you can do so by placing any mp3 named boot_audio.mp3 in /system/media.

Nice! I remember your ROM from when I had a Galaxy Nexus, I remember I did really like it. I won't be flashing this right now though, since I'm running the stock Sony ROM.
The best of luck!
Cant use this rom. Rom is not mounting my sd-card. I use built in kernel and pimped one without success.

All impression for this ROM is Good.. only one question which Feature is NOT included? I mean it has Everything.. thats Super Cool even it has the Latest Paranoid Android 4.4.2 Features... Also i dont have any problem with mounting and all.. the only problem is with the Date.. On every Reboot it shows date of Year 1970, its the same Problem that SlimKat had, I think u can talk to DAddYE or prbassplayer for the Problem. Rest everything is super.
Are the APNs fixed?
Sent from my Xperia Z1 using XDA Premium HD app
I have a question please.. I know the rom well from other device of mine and it s so successful. But sony z1 has a good quality camera and other better hardware stuff(best fluent smooth camera). With this rom, does it feel like the same with the rom with other devices? I mean this rom feels exactly the same what I have with my nexus 4 (xenonhd rom in nexus) ?

Super Rom!

Rom itself is nice, but I can't add APN settings. It wont save them. So no cellular connection!
People with APN troubles just put this in your system/etc folder using any file browser with root capabilities.

Pretty good so far mate. Had some weirdness with the status bar settings not showing, but closing it and re-opening seemed to fix it. I havent actually used Carbon before. But nice, thanks! Keep up the good word
I'll use it a little more and report any issues.
Yeah its stated in 1st post, i have same issue on my device...will see what could be done on next builds to fix that.
btw thanks for testing/using it
gps
Hello I installed the rom very fast but unfortunately the problem of the other CM11 offline gps does not work.
So I went back to the original rom.
Carbon is based on CM11 so indeed the bugs will be the same ...
This ROM is great. Will use pretty heavily today. I don't use GPS much on it.
New build is up
This one is for Castor (not the wifi tab)
Build 1 here
Using castor_windy build. Works great and no issues so far ( haven't used GPS yet ). Seems very fast/smooth. Always liked Carbon on my nexus 5! Thanks for the work to everyone involved.
