Can not install cook room such as CM10.1 or Taks650

Hi,
First of all, I would like to let you know that I have do this job (flashing CM10 and Task650 many time in this phone before)
Last month my phone break the glass and I bring it to a shop to fix, don't know what did they do but after that, everytime I try to flash cook rom, I received alarm like this:
At that time and now I using stock 4.0.4 I747UCLG1

I searched and found that many people metion about wrong recovery version/carrier but I am sure that I use the correct one (CWM and TWRP also)

You need to flash the latest bootloader, or you can't update.
Do you have an AT&T Device? Or is it Canadian? That way, I can direct you to the right bootloader, you must be absolutely positive when flashing a bootloader or bad things will happen...
EDIT: Wait, you're still on ICS. Best way to go from here is flash a complete stock ROM,

choose the one for your carrier and flash. BACKUP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST., INCLUDING THE SD CARD.
Then you will be able to flash the latest ROMS.

This is a bootloader error. CM/aokp require the latest bootloader. Update to the latest 4.1.1 stock firmware to resolve this. Stock rooted firmware can be located in the Android Development section. Be sure all your files are backed up.

The ROM already has a kernel, what i mean is, uf you have a prefered kernel of you choice and it supports stock JB then flash it. But if none, stick with the one that comes with the ROM.

It optimizes the way an Android application package (APK) is packaged. Doing so enables the Android operating system to interact with the application more efficiently, and has the potential to make the application and overall the whole system much faster. Execution time is minimized for zipaligned applications, resulting is lesser amount of RAM consumption when running the APK.
For your second question, yes its ok as long you do a full wipe before flashing it.

i found a way to root your stock rom if you dont trust this one by any chance or if you have errors, happened by coincidence lol
assuming you are on 4.1.2 stock and untouched, flash a custom kernel with twrp + cwm here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2309117 using flashtool and unplug your phone,
nexp power on your phone and quick tap sony logo before boot animation shows up to get into twrp,
next try to reboot your phone by pressing reboot in twrp and it will prompt you to root your phone since it's not rooted or to continue with reboot,
just slide to root
next reboot your phone and open superSU, it say about not being rooted properly but worry not, it needs to update
just pres "PLAY" in the bottom left corner of you screen and update superSU in play store
again i do not know what happened there, but it worked!

Recovery enable to mount external_sd

Dears,
to do a backup I actually have to reboot into recovery and start a backup to sdcard0.
It seems to be unable to mount exsdcard, also if I try to mount it manually.

From what I can see, it looks that we will need to extract DG's file and add each piece into the Flash tab in Heimdall then hit Start. DG feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that.

That looks right. The HLOS is the modem.
It worked for me.

You do not need to change the name. You need to use 7zip to unpack the tar.gz file which is compressed within the .7z Simply renaming it will not work.

the .7z does not contain a packaged tar.gz. If and when the files are repacked to tar.gz and flashed an error occurs of a missing .xml file? Im stumped at this point

Has anyone run into this issue?
I'm trying to run the System Update but I keep running into this. I used the HTC One 2014 All in One Toolkit to Unlock the Bootloader and when I try to update the system, this happens:

Aroma file browser and PhilZ Touch
Hi there,
first of all pls exuse my bad english, cause I m not a native speaker.
A big thx goes out to the devs who have developed this Touch recovery and the Aroma File Browser...
On my HTC M8 it's working like a charm... but there is one little bug...
Every time I start the File Brwoser (or Terminal) the backgorunds seems to be a bit... buggy... I mean it seems semi-transparent/transparent... so that I can see the original recovery background "under" the file browser /terminal.
Could you pls help me?

I did a cwm backup of my stock ROM last week.
And then installed arhd 22.
Since official lollipop update has been released I tried to restore my stock ROM so that I could update.
But it always gives "restoring system.System couldn't be restored" error.
Now I am stuck what do I do?

Hi, I' ve read that you only can revert back to stock if you flash your backup zip with odin...
Just an idea, hope it'll help.

That doesn't help because we don't have odin. That's Samsung stuff and this HTC !
He probably forgot to wipe the system before the restore. A full wipe before restoring a rom is pretty much mandatory.

Sorry, mixed that up, got too many phones around here...

(HTC One M8) Stuck in key test
So I accidentally went into the key test and am not able to back out of it. Any key press or touch just shows the value on screen and button press combos aren't working either. Since the HTC One doesn't have a removable battery or hard reset button, am I stuck in here until the battery drains? I'm sorry if this is a no-brainer but I've looked everywhere online and can't find an answer and am brand new to the phone. I feel like a real dumbass right now.

Volume up + power button, keep them pressed. That simulates a battery pull and will reboot the phone
