TWRP or PHILZ Recovery Backup Of Stock Rom - T-Mobile HTC One (M8)

I have the Gold Developer Edition with Bootloader, SuperCID, and S-Off running on T-Mobile.
I am looking for a bone stock rom.
Looking for someone who is familiar with flashing recovery and making/posting backups.
Thanks.

So you need a stock backup is what you're saying?
I should have mine by the weekend, or Monday at the latest.
I can make a backup if no one else gets to it. Just PM me on Saturday if I don't respond by then.

Okay, may have to wait a minute on that. jcase is working on updating his weaksauce exploit. Once he gets that up, I can get a proper dump including stock kernel and recovery.

Just re-uploaded them. If you had downloaded prior to me posting just now. Please download and reflash. Thanks
Ill test it out after my phone finishes restoring my texts from my old one.
I have the bootloader unlocked, I will test in a sec.
Edit:
Flashes fine and I am pretty sure I just rooted.

Can confirm, same result.
I'm assuming you will update OP with flashing instructions?
And it is rooted! Sweet, now I can get Titanium Backup going in case I have to wipe again.

Sooo we don't need moonshine or any of that jazz. This will make us completely rooted? Also can we get a TWRP version in time as well?

Updated the OP. Very easy to flash. If you know how to unlocked. Same process. But fastboot flash recovery recovery.img is what you do in fastboot. Simple as 1.2.3...

Moonshine will bring S-Off, but we don't know if it works or not, and I am not about to sacrifice and find out.
I hear ya lets just wait for the official heads up lol

Obviously this is a different device.....BUT, hboot version 1.54 (which we have) is incompatible with moonshine for the time being. Same with revone for those who are gonna suggest. This is all ASSUMED through the HTC One international/gsm/tmo/att/sprint/your mom's phone.....doesn't work on any of em.
And RUU doesn't work downgrading to previous versions with this hboot version either, for those who are also gonna suggest that....
Just an FYI.

But on a positive note...... nice to see that we have unlocked bootloader, recovery, and root on day one!! :good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good::good:
AND....to add to that, people said it was ****ty etc etc that we had to wait a few months extra for this phone. The MAJOR advantage to this is that most the legwork is already done for roms for the phone
Can't wait to give this a go later... Thank you FlyHalf!
I know it's probably too early to tell - but how's battery life on Verizon so far? Had one on Tmo and it was solid, but didn't have LTE at the time... I'm a little concerned on Verizon.
Looks like I might have to get a One now!

Since no flashable RUU is available, anyone able to offer a Nandroid of pure Stock?

Given that no encrypted RUU is available, and the decrypted RUU provided by @Zarboz does not, by most accounts, flash properly, is someone with a new phone and having obtained S-OFF, kind enough to provide a Nandroid backup that we can use as our "stock" image? Would be much appreciated.
The new one flashes fine, previous was a bad upload and the size was like a third of real.
I can't seem to find the link, CNexus. Any help?

The only way right now would be to flash a custom recovery, then flash a rom
No encrypted one available, sorry
I have a stock nandriod (made using TWRP) I restored to in order to s-off today. I can't remember exactly when I made it but I don't think it has any personal info. Are you sure you can restore a backup made on someone else's device? If so, pm me and I'll upload a copy and send you a link.

I am devunlocked through HTCdev and I feel your pain... I just got S-off 30 min ago and this is what I did
Flashed stock deodex vzw rom

Flashed stock boot img

Flashed stock recovery
Made sure usb debugging was on
Made sure verifying apps was off
Made sure fastboot was off
Made sure no lock screen was selected
i'm in the same boat i HTC dev unlocked day 1 and i'm trying to figure out the best way to return to 100% stock so i can run rum runner. I have a backup system.img along with boot.img and stock recovery i downloaded awhile back. Can't remember for the life of me where i found them and i have no guarantee they will work as expected. It seems like i should be able to push all those img files re-lock the the boot loader and then s-off. But i won't have time to test until this weekend. Does anyone know of a way to verily the img files to see if they are legit?

Stock or near stock ROM

Long story short, I am rooted and s-on and running an older version of insertcoin rom. The TWRP backup of my stock rom won't restore and I want to use sunshine to s-off but it says I need to have a stock or close to stock rom. Can anyone recommend a rom that will work for me? Keep in mind that I'm still on firmware that is compatible with 4.4.3. I'm only needing the rom to enable me to s-off, then I can upgrade everything.
Thanks.

You do realize how quickly and easily you can switch back and forth between recoveries if you need to, right? Flash the backup, then switch immediately back to TWRP, then make your own with that recovery to save for later. Or you could just switch back and forth again because it is so easy. I'm surprised that there are no TWRP backups for you. Most have TWRP ones available.

If it just for SunShine S-Off purpose, just grab any TWRP 2.xx backup... you don't really need your device version stock ROM.

OK here's whats happened. I downloaded the nandroid for my carrier and managed to install it. Its version 4.4.2 and it detected there was an update. I downloaded it and it installed fine, rebooted and it detected another update, then the wifi suddenly turned itself off and would not turn back on so I couldn't download the second bigger update.
I've re-installed the Insertcoin backup and it's all working again.
any ideas?
