Going super SLIM - SlimRoms Feature Development

To moderators: if I have posted this in the wrong place help me find the right one...I have no idea where it should belong...I tried here 'cos maybe I can find more people interested in my idea here. Thank you.
Hello there! I'm new on the forum but I have an idea and I can't find an answer so I had to register to ask you.
I recently came to know about Samsung's super battery saving mode on the S5...correct me if I'm wrong...that enables to turn off many features and save a lot of power (I'm talking about UPSM ) and I thought of how much I could need something like it. I have a Galaxy S2 I9100 and I looked around for the best power conserving ROM's but nothing satisfied me. I thought about stripping a ROM down to it's essentials but neither do I have the necessary knowledge nor would that be what I'm looking for.
So I ask you if it would be possible to create a ROM ( + kernel ) that are focused entirely on the essentials like making calls, sending text messages, phone book, displaying the time and pretty much nothing else...
I would love to see my phone with the cabability to last much much longer...simple black and white screen, no animations, no apps, no internet connection, no bluetooth/NFC/anything...just simple "survival" tasks...
I hope that someone other than me is interested in such a thing.
I would appreciate any kind of discussion and/or ideas for this.

these blackberry seems perfect for you

OR better yet since you don't want apps, just get those $5 flip phones =D the battery on those phones used to last ~3-5 days for me
pretty sure you can get them with less than 10 bucks

I've same concern about battery and now I'm getting 7 days of standby with my SlimKat
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52169320&postcount=681
what I do is simply removing the UN-needed apps (it may be important apps for others but for me I really don't them in my phone) Plus minor other things...So Here is exactly what I did (everything is safe here..nothing to worry about
Open the Rom you want to flash go to System folder and DELETE the following:
HTML:
1) "tts" Folder //remove Text To Speech
2) "Media" Folder //remove ROM Ringtones and Boot Animation
3) open "app" folder and remove:
BasicDreams.apk
Browser.apk //you can use firefox anyway
Calculator.apk
Calendar.apk //remove calendar app!
CellBroadcastReceiver.apk
DashClock.apk //clock widget
Development.apk
DocumentsUI.apk
DownloadProviderUi.apk
DSPManager.apk
Email.apk
Exchange2.apk
HTMLViewer.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
Music.apk
NovaLauncher.apk
PhaseBeam.apk
PhotoTable.apk
PicoTts.apk
PrintSpooler.apk
SlimCenter.apk
SlimFileManager.apk //use fx explorer instead
SlimIRC.apk
SoundRecorder.apk
SpareParts.apk
Stk.apk
VisualizationWallpapers.apk
WAPPushManager.apk
4) open priv-app and remove:
VpnDialogs.apk
CalendarProvider.apk //remove local calendar!
Now Flash the ROM....Don't flash GAPPS "it means google apps" Actually I don't want those Google bloatware "the only thing I need is Google maps" and if you want I'll tell you how to install it alone without all GAPPS :highfive:
after first booting go to settings and do following for real SuperSlim Experience:
1) go to data usage and Turn off the following:
HTML:
Mobile Data
Data Roaming
Auto Sync data
show Wi-Fi usage
2) Under "wireless & network" press "More" >> mobile networks >> preferred network type and select "2G" also make sure that "Data enabled" and "Data roaming" and "National data roaming" are all UN-Checked.
3) Go to "Interface" >> statues bar >> clock and date disable it.
4) also from "Navigation" >> "SlimPIE" make it off.
5)Go to "Display" and make following:
HTML:
Brightness to (lowest)
DayDream (off)
CRT animation (Don't show)
Notification light (disabled)
6) Go to location and make it (off).
7) Go to Security >> "Blacklist" disable it.
8) Very Important: Go to developer option: scroll down to
HTML:
window animation scale (animation off)
transition animation scale (animation off)

great idea i was doing this since Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 year 2011

The OP basically wants a mobile phone. Not a smart phone. These dumb phones typically are smaller and can stay on for days with light use.
So, ditch that phone of yours and buy a 10€/$/£ phone (and keep the 100-200€/$/£ change to buy something nice). I mean it. No jugement.
Just one more thing... I really don't see what's the big idea with bragging about transforming your capable smartphone into a fashionable but useless expensive brick. If you don't need the internet but like colorful games, then of course I don't see the problem in disabling the mobile data and WiFi. But I don't see any advantage in removing pretty much every program (especially under the wron impressio that this would improve battery life in the general case). And I really can't see what's the use of buying a smartphone, castrating it, and finally NOT using it at all (not one in 6 days). Thz big question is "why a smartphone in the first place?". I mean, you can do the same thing with a 3ct brick, or, if you really need to draw power, with a 30ct light bulbe or, if you expect to receive a call every now and then (well, at most once a week), you can do the same as the OP and buy a 10$ phone instead. Actually from the power draw, it seems that you actually did not move th phone so you can buy an authentic 5$ landline (yeah, no battery problems).

Difference between Paid and Free version is mainly in the poweruser options.
Paid version mainly adds lotsa poweruser options ;D
1) Remembers up to 9999 undo/redo operations
2) Control over the End-Of-Line characters (Apple, Unix and Windows tend to handle different End-Of-Line differently when doing plain text editing)
3) Allows user to specify buffer size
4) Allows custom fonts and background images
5) Allows user to customize 6 extra Themes in addition to the built-in 3 Themes.
6) Allows toggling of word wrap
7) Continuous Text to Speech.
8) Automatic backup of multiple files to user specified locations on SD card
Free version:
1) Remembers just 1 undo/redo operation, plus 1 reset buffer
2) Defaults to Android EOL handling
4) Fixed 10000 buffer size
5) Custom fonts and backgrounds disabled. You can still paint over the existing 3 themes with a solid color though, just adjust your Opacity bar in your themes dialog.
6) Customization of 3 built in Themes.
7) Always wordwrap
8) Text to Speech reads single paragraphs only.
9) Automatic backup of 1 file to user specified location on SD card
Version 1.71 features:
1) A File List, which works like a Bookshelf/Task_list/Recent_files hybrid management system. So basically, you can use it as a Task list, text bookreader, and text file editor as well.
2) Edit mode with unlimited file size, and tracking system to resume your reading/editing progress.
3) HTML mode! Supports non html files as well.
4) Text to Speech! I'm gonna use it to listening to ebooks when my eyes are tired
5) GoTo, Search, Replace, Cut, Copy, and Paste
6) Multiple Undo and Redo with undo history up to 9999(for the full version). Also comes with a sliding bar to easily rewind and fast forward the changes you made.
7) Themes! Customizable display; you can specify your own background images, custom fonts, background and font colors, line spacing, indents etc.
8) Landscape mode
9) EditText view with inertia scrolling, and yet no irritating problems of the view rectangle not being called to show your cursor, nor the rectangle jumping all over the place when you try to place your cursor far away.
10) Toggleable word wrap and autocapitalization (if supported by keyboard app)
11) Specify what End-Of-Line chars for saving your files with.
12) Tons of encoding options from ISO, windows 125_, Cyrillic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, etc.
13) Share your files or just specific lines of selected text via email, bluetooth etc.
14) Automatic backup of files to user specified locations on SD card
15) HTML mode to easily switch between plain text and HTML view
If you like what you see, download now!
Oooops, double post
Latest version 1.3 is up!
Major changes are:
- Bookshelf/memo_list/recent_files hybrid system. So basically, you can use it as a memo list, bookreader, and text file editor as well.
- Fixed most of the pesky question marks by using windows-1252 as the default encoding.
- Added a lot of encoding options from ISO, windows 125_, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
- Themes! Customizable themes, and you can specify your own background images (Paid version only).
- Share your files via email/bluetooth etc.
- Built in file browser
- No more popup nag box! :s
Search and replace only works within the displayed text for now.
New version 1.35!
New features:
1) Toggleable word wrap
2) Specify which type of End-Of-Line chars to use when saving files, '\r', '\n', or '\r'+'\n'
3) Improved Find/Replace and GoTo function. Background no longer dims.
4) Stability fixes, some quite important ones. Make sure you update if you haven't yet!
That looks really nice for first program!
Im sure people will use this
Btw, how did you do this?

With Eclipse IDE and Java, picking it up as I went along . Crux of the whole app is the proper loading and saving of file chunks, customizing the EditText behavior, and its backup system.
But actually not many people are downloading it
New version 1.40!
NTW now talks! Comes with ability to adjust pitch, speech rate, and supported languages.
But be warned, I think Android's Text to Speech is a bit buggy, so the voice doesn't really respond consistently to my controls for pitch and speech rate.
Edit: I found out it does respond consistently, but I have to be patient and wait for the next sentence to play naturally, instead of pressing stop and play for instant replay
v1.41 is out. It only patches NTW crashing due to certain Text to Speech settings. Download if you encounter this crashing.
why not put this awesome app in the market? I'm quite sure that all txt editors currently available do have size limit
a suggestion: it needs to support more codes like
UTF-8
UTF-16BE
UTF-16LE
UTF-32BE
UTF-32LE
WINDOWS-1251
WINDOWS-1252
WINDOWS-1253
WINDOWS-1255

KOI8-R
MACCYRILLIC
HZ-GB-2312
X-ISO-10646-UCS-4-3412
X-ISO-10646-UCS-4-2143
edit: oh i have found it. the market search system s*cks .typing the app name and not find in the start but middle of the list
It does already support many of the encodings you listed, including all 5 of the UTF encodings, most Windows 125*, ISO8859-*, EUC-JP, EUC-KR, Big5, Shift-JIS, variants of GBK, etc etc
However, it doesn't really do auto detection... Only autodetects UTF encodings provided that your file specifies the BOM bytes for it. For files without BOM or with BOM for the other encodings, you have to manually select its encoding from the list in Tools-->Themes-->Encoding

Hmmm, this list of encodings look familar, are you the developer for Jota text editor?
http://android-apps.com/applications/tools/jota-text-editor/
I just found out that NTW crashes on startup on the Galaxy Ses owned by 2 of my mom's friends. They are typical users who experience lots of lag on their Galaxy S because they never tweak, optimize, root, upgrade to 2.2, or even use an external sdcard. Nevertheless, I am quite bemused why NTW crashes so consistently on their Galaxy S but not mine, considering that NTW does not require much system resources, nor the external sdcard to run.
I would be very grateful if any Galaxy S users would feedback to me if NTW regularly crash on their phones as well.
Ok, I think I've solved the crashing problem some of you may be experiencing. Hopefully anyway......
v1.42
- Patches NTW crashing due to your phone's Text to Speech settings or lack of TTS.
- More encodings: ISO-2022 for JP, KR & CN. KOI-8R for russian.
Heheheheh!!! Always wanted to implement multiple undo/redo, but only recently figured out how to do so efficiently
v1.45
- Multiple undo/redo! Undo History bar allows easy rewinding or fast forwarding of your changes, maxed at 9999 steps.
"Reset chunk" replaces the original Undo/Redo menu option.
Clicking of "Reset chunk" is recorded in Undo history.
Note: Free version has Undo history of only 1 in addition to "Reset chunk".
- Improved File Browser
- Streamlined File List interface.
Long press to view the preview, file properties, "Forget" and "Share" options.
NTW v1.47 is out!
Basically, this update makes the search, goTo, and undo/redo operations much easier than before. It also makes much better use of the space at the top which was previously just showing the filename and current %.
- Implemented fast scroll thumbs for browser and NTW shelf .
- Icon toolbar for convenient undo/redo, goTo, search, load next/prev chunk. Long click of undo/redo buttons pop up the undo history bar. Click the % display to shwo the goTo dialog.
- Improved goTo function.
NTW v1.48 is out!
- Fast scroll thumb for the main text box! (Built from scratch, whew! The behavior of ListView's fast scroll thumb was really tough to emulate properly )
- Progress bar above icon bar to show you where is your currently loaded chunk.
- Search backwards in addition to searching forwards. Plus some tweaks to search behavior
v1.49 is out!
This is mostly tweaking the behavior, performance and efficiency of undo/redo, search and replace, and the cursor.
- Fixed search backwards so that it works for single char searches too.
- Tweaks to UI of file browser and File List when adding/forgetting files
- Changed Replace operation so it is more compatible with undo/redo
- Fixed the auto shifting of cursor interfering with delete by holding down delete key
- Minor cursor tweaks and speed enhancement to File List
V1.51 is out!
New features:
- Incredibly cool Viking android as fast scroll icon!
- Even more incredibly cool menu icons!
- Delete command now available in file browser. This should be useful if you sometimes find yourself itching to do some file clean up from within NTW itself.
- Adjustments to left and right indent seekbar range and auto fadeout time of fast scroll icon.
- Self-fading pop up dialog boxes for messages like successful save, successful overwrite, or other error messages. I made the fadeout time for non-error related messages quite fast, but if you still find them irritating, let me know and I'll program in a check box to toggle their existence.
V1.52 is out!
Changes:
- File List now displays the file name only.
- Added shortcut to change "Encoding". Long press the main editing window to bring up the context menu, then select "Encoding Options".
- Ratings button, and my blog address added into Help
- Text cursor will no longer move along with the scrolling page.
- Tablet users should (hopefully) be able to find NTW in the Market now.
- NTW now supports only Android v 2.2 or higher. I think NTW was crashing for for v2.1.
I'm thinking I should probably move on to something else for now. Have an idea for an interesting variation of a file explorer....
I'll get back to NTW as and when I have time, maybe improve the search and replace or the GoTo % accuracy etc.

Already flashed MIUI ROM? OK, pick up your phone now, let’s start our happy journey of MIUI ROM.
The first step: selecting apps
Various apps will greatly enrich your cell phone, so firstly let’s select the apps to your taste. Use the Android Market and download what you would like. If you are using a backup app and restoring apps from a previous ROM, only restore the apps and not the data. Otherwise that will create a lot of force close issues.
Tip: How to copy files from the computer to the phone? First connect your phone to your computer via data cable, pull down the notification panel from the top of the phone, click “USB connected”, and then click "Turn on USB storage”.
After copying, do not forget to select the option of “Turn off USB storage”, otherwise "File Manager” in the phone will not be able to find the sd card, as it is being occupied by the computer.
Now I have a lot of apps, how to put them in order?

I think I might leave cyanogen for this lol
*edit* so tried this out for a couple of hours
The ui is beautiful and the rom overall is smooth, but got a lot of fc from the theme chooser, nofication setting and when making phone calls.

You should. Like I've said before, after trying many many ROM's, I've come to the conclusion that MIUI is EVERYTHING that I want in my phone and there will be no looking back to any other ROM's out there.
OMG OMG OMG official miui..... not a port....
Does the official rom still have the theme engine problem? I didnt see it in the changelog, and it was the only thing keeping me from using the miui ports.

Miui Rocks....it was the first Rom that truly set itself apart from CM roms and the like. It was my dd for a while but updates started coming out that required full rlashing, it became pointless. It seems that they are a lot more stable now....might come bqck and check them out again.
OP incredible job on the detail of your posts. One car certainly tell that you are not just theming and calling it a new tommy....cheers!

does MIUI have a good calendar/agenda app? I can't find one that beats Sense or Go Launcher EX at the moment.
Agenda Widget Plus and Pure Grid Calendar aren't as smooth or as well integrated =/
So beautiful and so tempting but it seems that it will never ever manage to utilize the functionality of the G2's Quick Keys =(

Same. Also does that when changing ringtones for notifications, though they do seem to apply anyway.

Should be fixed with today's (Friday) build.
With all due respect, what is the benefit of an 'official' MIUI ROM over any of the currently-maintained ports such as OsiMood? It does not seem like we are going to get G2-specific features like Quick Keys or Tab working.
Is the performance any better than these 'unofficial' ports?

This being official, I would assume that they are going to look at the g2 specific features a bit more?
Maybe I'm just being optimistic
Ima give the 3 roms a whirl, finally.
My phone number: Unknown
One issue I've noticed with this as well is that it can't read my phone number from the SIM card. That can cause issues with certain apps that require it (like TikL, for example).
Menu > Settings > System > About Phone > More information > Status
For me, that shows "My phone number: Unknown". And yes, I am sure my phone number is present on the SIM.

So Is this rom based in CM7 or not?
Is there a bug list for this rom?
Thanks
Is there a chance that this might be adopted for an official MIUI for the Captivate?
Oo shiny, I'm thinking this build of MIUI is playing nice with my screen this time.
Rather annoying being unable to answer calls cause the screen doesn't respond to touch.. Time to put the miui.us build on my Milestone
Thank you devs for starting a great thread

Introducion
In this tutorial i will show you how to get the Honeycomb look on your Archos Gen8 device
It`ll maked with Launchers/Widgets/Apps so it isnt a real framework but it looks nearly exactly like Honeycomb (see the Photos on 3rd post )
The performance of your homescreen and/or launcher will reduce, i have with the apps running required for the look, but no other, 106 MB free memory. So it needs 20-30 MB of memory.
I already made the look very less-memory using. I dont see more improvements on this, if you know one, please report!
I know the installation tutroial looks very very long, but i wrote it, like always, really step by step, so every tiny tap is written It is worth the work, trust me.
Thanks goes to:
jjhiza for actually have the idea for this, i just "re-masterd" his tutorial for the galaxy tab specially for our devices. (Original thread linked below)
julbra18 for show me the tutorial of jjhiza. (Original thread linked below)
So if you still want the look, please follow the following steps
Have fun!
Greets,
Lenn

Please follow each of the following steps!
1) Download this file to your PC or Archos: http://www.mediafire.com/?09thrr8r48n9unn
2) Extract the 2 folders out of it.
3) In the folder "apps" are the apks of the free apps required.
4) You have to purchase "Launcher Pro Plus (Unlocker)" from market. You have to install the normal Launcher Pro firstly free, than install the Unlocker. It is really worth the money.
5) Install all apps.
6) Select Launcher Pro as your standart Home Application by tapping the home soft button.
7) Clear all Homescreens. (Shortcuts)
8) Long-Tap all Dock-Icons >> Change Shortcut >> Blank except the top one.
9) Go to Launcher Pro Plus preferences. (Menu Soft Button >>Preferences)
10) Homescreen Settings >> Number of columns/rows = 10
11) Auto-fit Items = Check
12) Go to the Homescreen(s).
13) Change the wallpaper to the provided one out of the folder "pics".
14) Create a One More Clock Widget (4x2). ( Long-Tap on blank space )
15) Click on the widget and do Personalize Clock >> Menu Soft Button >> Toggle Visibility and go back to homescreen. (Apply Changes)
16) Rescale (long pres on Widget) the Widget to 2x1 and put it right in the middle of the "Bar" at the bottom.
17) Do this on all (normally 3) homescreens.
18) Create a Desktop Visualizer Widget (1x1) ( Long-Tap on blank space ) and click on the created widget.
19) Choose Symbol >> Image File and choose "battery_indicator.png" from the folder "pics".
20) Assigned Task >> None | OK
21) Place the widget so far on the right as you can on the bar.
22) Do exactly the same with "wifi_indicator.png" and place it next to the Battery Widget.
23) Rescale the Wifi Widget, that it is right next to the Battery Widget. (~10px near)
24) Create a Minimal Text Widget: (1x1)
25) Once you are in the menu of the widget (automatically) uncheck "Show Background".
26) Predefined layout >> Custom layout... | Custom layout
27) Put the 3 predefined elements in trash. (Long-Tap and put down)
28) Press the green plussign on the right.
29) Battery >> Battery (Free translated from german, choose the one without "part 1" or "part 2" at the end)
30) Put it on the "list" above. (Long-Tap)
31) Press on the square you just putted above and set "Stil" to "Accented".
32) Go back to homescreen and put the new Widget right over the Battery Widget (Desktop Visualizer) and rescale it, that the text/number is right over the battery icon, but below the Wallpaper. (in the bar)
33) Create the Wifi-Widget (Minimalistic Text) like the Battery one, but:
33.1) Choose the Horizontal block and Horizontal text to "right".
33.2) Choose Misc >> Static Text instead of the Battery info and write something in there, it is similar what you write.
33.3) Choose "tap behavior section" and select out of the list Settings >> Wifi-Settings.
34) Go back to homescreen and put the new widget right above the wifi widget (Desktop Visualizer) and re-scale it, that it is "over" the wifi and the battery widget. (Both Desktop Visualizer)
35) Erase the text out of the wifi-widget by just delete the "Static text" element.
36) Do steps 24) to 34) on every homescreen.
37) Create a Desktop Visualizer. (3x1)
38) Choose Symbol >> Image File and choose "search.png" from the folder "pics".
39) Assigned Task >> Launch Task >> Search | Press CLEAR | Highlight Style >> None | OK
40) Re-scale the new widget to 3x2 and put it in the top-right corner. (The *.png should be ~ 20px below the top of the screen)
41) Do the same with "apps_bar.png" but:
41.1) Select Assigned Task >> None instead of "Search".
42) Do step 37-41 on every homescreen.

51) Create again 2 shortcuts with "arrow.png" and "home.png", but select these 2 apps you use the most of the time (f.e. i use Dolphin and ebuddy) and erase again everything out of the text field.
52) Now put the 3 shortcuts in the "bottom-left" corner in following order: Arrow | Home | Windows
53) Do step 46-52 on every homescreen.
54) Now its done! You just need to set your personal prefernces in the Launcher Pro Plus menu. I use:
55) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Homescreen settings >> Homescreen Looping = None
56) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Homescreen settings >> Transition effect = Flip 2
57) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Advanced settings >> High quality scrolling = Not Checked
58) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Appearance settings >> Hide notification bar = Checked
59) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Appearance settings >> Hide icon labels = Checked
60) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Appearance settings >> Highlight color - focused = 0
61) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Appearance settings >> Highlight color - pressed = 0
62) Launcher Pro Plus Preferences >> Appearance settings >> Highlights style = Glow
Thats it!
Notes:
I prefer to you to Backup the Launcher Pro Plus homescreen and settings, so that you just have to put the files (pics) in the same directory like ine your first setup of this theme and restore the backup file in the main menu of Launcher Pro Plus. (You also backup in the main menu.)
I hope everyone have understood the tutorial, otherwise please report it, i will help you with the problems!

Lenn

16) Rescale (long pres on Widget) the Widget to 2x1 and put it right in the middle of the "Bar" at the bottom.
Lenn, I am long pressing but I can only expand to make it larger, not smaller

I know,
i made it because the original has much more apps required, so it needs more meory of the device
on the galaxy tab this isnt a problem because it has 1gb memory but on our 256 mb it is a problem
so i improved it by find other solution for some apps, so the theme is faster
Edit:
I added 3 settings that i have set, with these you disable the highlight when you press an app/shortcut.
Greets,
Lenn
Is no one interested in that?
what i should make better?..

Troubleshooting
App will not open: first restart your phone...if that does not work then uninstall and reinstall
Task Result Error (Unable to open image selection screen): You cannot have your phone connected to Zune in order to use the image selection screen. This is a limitation of the OS so just unplug your phone from the computer .

Unhandled Exception: Stop breaking my application...just kidding. Reply to this threa with the full exception message you get and as much information on how you got the error
Everything else: Same as above

Major UI overhaul
Ability to select: Accent Color (both stock and custom), Library of stock Icons, Library of your own Icons, Library of stock Backgrounds, Library of customized Backgrounds
Coming soon (Do not ask when):
Back tiles
Ability to change the font, color, and size of the Tile Title (say that 10 time fast)
Ability to have multiple tiles that launch the same task. This would be for launching Websites for example. You will get the option to type an address if you want.
Option to Do things that the API can do such as call a person, e-mail a person, etc.
Blank tiles that do absolutely nothing
More "stock" icons
Some UI changes
Option to select from applications that are from the APP store
Maybe a neat feature for those that donate.
I’m also working on launching shortcuts without having to launch Supreme Shortcuts first (though this might not work).
Device specific utilities such as the Dell Engineering Mode, Samsung Diagnostics screen, etc.
Finally!!!! Internet sharing shortcut! Thank you!

thanks, nice job. Needed the Internet Sharing Tile
I havent tried this out but I was wondering when you press on wifi does it disable it right away or does it just bring you to the setting page
Settings page
Yes, finally IS shortcut Thanks for your effords!
Thanks for this app !
I found a small bug:
If you launch the search settings page the Wifi page appears.
=> probably you used the wrong GUID.
Is it possible to share the source code ?
Regards
contable
Hi MJCS,
Can you add a shortcut for "Internet Explorer" please ??
I want to custom tile of Internet Explorer and we can't because it's an application system !!!
If you create a shortcut, we can custom tile of this shortcut and pin it to the home ...
Your application it's a way to custom Tile of System application !!!! ... All peoples are waiting for it
Thankx,
Poloche
Could you add the attached shortcut (works only on Samsung devices) to your app ?
I think smaller icons fit better to the system icons but this is just a question of personal taste. The package only include the icons you can see on the screenshot.
For my personal use I also changed SplashScreenImage to black...
This works wonders =]
I have posted about it [APP] Supreme Shortcuts.
Do you have a video demo of the application working on a phone or would you like for me to create one?
Also are you going to be making any other useful homebrew applications for Windows Phone? =]
Thanks @wphomebrew

I'll look into it and see if I can fix it.
** UPDATE **
Fixed.
In the next version I will be making it so you can access the 32 or so Stock applications. I will NOT be adding options to run 3rd party or OEM applications. I will also be adding the option to set the icon of all the apps within the application itself.
How about adding the possibility to enter a custom GUID and icon-name ? So the user will be able to pin whatever he wants if he knows the GUID....
Sent from my OMNIA7 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
Just out of curiosity: are you going to publish the app on the MS Marketplace as well?
Hi !
Very good app ! Thanks for it
It's very usefull !
It will be cool if French language will in the other release .
I can send you French translation for the app , tell me if you want ...
