Requirements:
This directory will be broken into 2 skill level categories.
1-Easy: Flash in SafeStrap Recovery as is, no edits required.
2-Moderate: some monor changes are required to make the theme work safely on our Note 3 (name edits, simple deletions) that anyone with a general working knowledge of how to decompress/recompress zip files for flashing in SS could do it.
☆Changes that involve moving stuff around or editing the install script (like aroma installer based themes) will not be listed. For those to work, permission from the creator to PORT it will be required, and it should have it's own thread!☆

Anyone can! As long as the theme compatibility fits the above requirements, you provide screen shots, and you provide a working link to the original theme's thread here on xda. If it fits into the "moderate skill" category, you must also provide what files you had to change/delete to get it set up properly. You may post it on your own, or pm me the details and I will add it. Credit for the user giving each listing will be given.

[THEME'S] NC5D [KK 4.4]-[JB 4.3][*** KromeX Themes ***"]
He's got a few themes here. But I installed the Universal Blak Krome.
This one takes a little modding, but looks good! (Follow link, and go to post #760 for download links)
Unzip the theme and make the following edits to make it work:
Files to delete:
System/app/SecEmail_J.apk (it kept f/c at startup)
System/priv-app/VVM.apk (Sprint app)
File to edit:
vrtheme/system/app/SBrowser_SPR.apk. Remove the "_SPR" if you want the browser themed.
A few nice things. The phone, contacts, and mms apps are inverted! Haven't tried the others on his thread.
Also worth noting. There is a full framework-res.apk that is installed. If you're not running a custom rom, it will be fine. If you are, try it anyways. And restore a backup if you have issues.

One of the nice things about knowing your way around an install zip package... Mix n match! I'm running elements of darkhorse, blak krome, bobcat, and cobalt.

For sure.. I just use zarchiver to open them on my phone and dump/edit what I want. Can't stand the ugly @$$ white and tw colors. Gotta be dark. haha.

I tried this method and it appears to have broke the group message function on mms. Did you do anything besides leave the apks mentioned?

There may be some quirks. It it a Sprint theme. What does it do? I haven't tried using group sms and don't have this loaded right now.

This is true as I'm on Verizon. I can send a send a group message. However when someone responds to the group message, it returns in a single response instead of maintaining the group thread. That's the only issue I've noticed so far. Thanks

Now mms won't send. Just clocks and the message never goes through. It's all good. Everything else functions perfect. I can continue to use the base mms. ?

Very nice looking theme. I am hoping to eventually see some kind of AOSP theme that works on our current KK build. There is one on the T-Mobile area but sadly the apps included with it force close like crazy on our current KK build.

May I inquire as to what dialer/contacts/messaging you are using? If you mentioned it before I apologize for missing it.
I have flashed this theme and have the white background in those 3 things still. My guess is that you took APKs from something else to replace them with that had dark backgrounds. If I'm correct in that, can you point me what you used?
EDIT: are they from dark horse, black chrome, or cobalt?
EDIT2: I'm and idiot! So sorry just saw the answer up the page on using contacts/dialer/messaging from blak chrome. Sorry to waste space asking lol.

UPDATE 4:
I tried to create a theme based on the buttons in v1, but unfortunately they just didn't look right/nice when adding the 9 patch to them. They were getting stretched and looked a bit amateurish.....actually they looked very amateurish in some places mainly due to the shape despite my best efforts.
Anyway I've come up with some new glowing glass buttons(v2), actually i came up with these trying to make the buttons in "Phone Candy" look better.
I've tried to make these look "rounded" and a little bit different, hopefully you''ll like them just as much as the others.
I've only themed the "dialer" and some icons.
UPDATE:
I've changed the images to look more "clean and tidy".

If you look carefully at buttons 1, 2, and 3 at the top, you will see a ghost image at the back... scary!!.
Anyway, in my bid for perfection I've fixed them.
If you want to apply them Simply:
Download the "Glowing contacts update" zip,
Open it with 7zip
Open the universal theme zip
Navigate to system/app/contacts/res/drawable-hdpi and drag and drop the images from the update zip
Close up and flash
The zip is attached at the bottom of this post.
UPDATE 5:
Updated v1.2 to v1.3: includes updated images.
UPDATE 6:
v2 includes new colours.
v1 is loosely based on the glass dock from launcher pro.

Boot into recovery

Its not an apk that's flashing, just the the images inside of it so it should work on multi dpi.

What is it about?
As many other users, I've never understood why Google kept old orange colors in ICS/Jellybean framework file. So if you open an app which hasn't been rewritten according to ICS/JB APIs you'll find it inconsistent with the entire Holo environment.
So I googled a bit and found a two solutions: replacing GB pngs with holo-like ones OR editing a framework file, styles.xml.
The Senior Member BlackDino did the original MOD on ICS AOKP but never ported it to Jellybean.
Why is that so awsome? Because it's done 100% on the code! No additional pngs are required, just cleaness and beauty.
So here I am, I spent last night porting those lines needed to be modiefied on our Jellybean framework.
In short form: all the credits goes to BlackDino and his thread
As this modification got to be done on the framework-res.apk file, it should be different for each single ROM. Being running MiNCO V5 I ported this MOD to its framework file. For convenience though, I've uploaded the corrected styles.xml code online so that you can port it to any ROM you want. I think I'll do it for Rasbean and stock 4.1.2, but definitely I can't mod every single framework file taken from all the roms available.
How To port it to any ROM
What you'll need is:
Apktool
A functional text editor (Gedit on Linux or Notepad++ on Windows)
Spare time
Considering that you have a basic knowledge of apktool usage:

apktool d framework-res.apk
open framework-res/res/values/styles.xml
compare it with the Modded one here: http://pastebin.com/9YcqEj4b
pay a particular attention to the parts of code commented (by using <!-- code -->)
back to the command line:

(If there are any compiling errors it means that you have ported things not related with our MOD but with MiNCO ROM stuff. Delete those lines from styles.xml, save and type the previous command again until it compiles fine)
Navigate to framework-res/build/apk and copy the content to the original framework-res.apk.
Download this CWM Template
Extract it.
Copy the modified framework-res.apk to CWM Template/system/framework
Zip META-INF and system folders
Flash it on your phone.

However the main reason I got excited when I saw this was for WhatsApp. The menus are replaced with JB-style ones in WhatsApp, but the text boxes are still GB, as well as the click animations.

The problem with the Fixer theme is because it doesn't really replace the old framework with the new Holo colors and styles. It merely replaces the non-Holo images and colors with Holo ones. This creates many inconsistencies with the Holo design language.
I prefer this mod better because it's more native.
Of course, I'm not saying that it's perfect, but it's certainly a better technical solution to the orange-grey-white-wtfwasgooglethinking scheme.

If you're talking about that ugly background gradient in stuff like settings, then I don't think this would fix it, since this mod is making no png changes and the gradient is background_holo_dark.png in the res/drawable-nodpi folder.

That is becuase those arent controlled by styles. Those are controlled by the many ugly orange and yellow boxes and .9.pngs that google was too lazy to color to their new blue.

Unfortunately nothing can be done.
Whatsapp, like some other f***ing-bad-coded apps, doesn't follow Google guide lines, so to get rid of that orange you have to replace those png inside whatsapp apk. So here's why Whatsapp PLUS exists

This theme was built for Insertcoin rom, but should work on any rom.
It uses the VRThemer which injects the images into the apk's. Meaning your tweaks will not be affected.
Instructions:
Flash your rom normally with all your tweaks.
Let your rom boot up.
Select the correct download.(There are 2. 1 for Inter,AT&T,VZW & TMO. The other is for Sprint.
Flash the theme in recovery. No need to wipe.
If your phone sticks on the boot screen, just hold the power button till it reboots.

Instructions:
Create a folder in the TWRP folder on your internal storage and name it theme

. - Add icons such as gmail, earth etc.
. - In the phone application, add black background in contact, groups and last calls.
. - In settings, black background, respecting the icons that are simply fantastic
Excuse the post, but it really was eager for a black mod for this rom.

Nice suggestions. You must really like your black. lol. But I am working on a lot more images. I should have an update soon. the only problem with theming market apps is they update so fast. It's hard to keep up. But I will try. :good:

I have not looked at that rom. But it should work. Worst case, you won't get all the images themed. This just injects images to the apk's. If the chef changed any of the apk images or recompiled them differently then just those images won't be replaced. I doubt that would happen.

I found "bugs", or something that you forgot :
- In the settings menu, the power icon is always green like stock.
- The B for Beat icon is too much dark, a grey icon will be better because we can't see it in the music app, or in the appdrawer.
- The icon + to add a contact when you tap the avatar in sms app is stock too.

A new updated fully inverted black and chrome theme based on Android version 4.4.2. This theme will only work on the latest base. As with all other full themes, please make a back-up of your current ROM and settings before flashing.
A huge thanks goes to my mate @Pfaffinator for his collaboration and the use of his chrome icons that we worked together on. Further projects are in the making and expect to see more wonderful themes coming from him and myself. Cheers bro, you're the best...
This is a BETA release. I have tested throughout the week but I am sure I have missed one or two icons somewhere. Be sure to check back for an update.
NOTE: The link for the 4.3 chrome theme has been removed as I will not be able to support it while using the new Android base. If someone would still like to use it, please send me a PM and I will forward you a link.

INSTRUCTIONS:

They should have changed as they are in the theme and the icon pack. One way to test is flash the theme without installing the icon pack and take a look. Let me know, thanks

Reflashed and most changed except internet explorer and a few other aps. Then applied the theme then Internet and FM Radio, Gallery, and TV changed. I guess my eyesight is going bad. They look like similar to the glass theme. I guess that is why I did not see a difference due to I was using your Razor Chrome glass theme and switched to this one.
What are you mean with Unicorn ? Is it a icon pack or? Point me to it please.

Updated all 4 colors. Fixed an issue that caused the calendar to fc when selecting a certain time to an event and fix the black text in contacts favorite names.
Any chance of making rom specific themes? @TEKHD has posted some conflicting issue with your theme and his rom. Also I notice that the save button on the calendar is whit on white...also calendar fc's when trying to save a recurring event. Thanks for all your work. I loved your theme on the note 4 and now on the edge.

Crap! Thought I got all the fc's fixed in the calendar. I'll take a look as soon as I can and hopefully work on inverting it while I'm at it. As for custom roms, I don't have any plans on making rom specific versions. There's still too much work that's needed and making more versions just adds to the workload.

Yesterday I finally put lollipop on my edge and was checking out your theme when I noticed I needed sunglasses to look at my calendar! Must have downloaded LoBoToMy before the update lol. Anyways, looks awesome and just a minor request. When you finish fixing up the fc's would you please make it a high priority to port your theme to my Nokia N900?
