Information about OPPO Find 7a specification's processor... - Oppo Find 7 and 7a

Hi guys
On the official site & everywhere we saw that the OPPO Find7a was a Snapdragon 801 but for some benchmark applications it's "just" a Snapdragon 800 Don't worries about that,
because after some research, we can confirm This is a Snapdragon 801 !
See the attachment
Antutu App show Snapdragon 800
Cpu-Z App show Snapdragon 801

Wtf? Is this true?

Yes, I think. The screenshot provides from a french mobile international version X9006... Waiting for others members XDA to confirm that...

Qualcomm labels the Xperia Z2's, Find 7a's and HTC One M8's MSM8974AB chipset clocked at 2.3GHz as Snapdragon 801, so there is no error on that spec sheet.

If it is MSM8974AB so it's a 801, but we can't see here... Maybe the Benchmark application don't show this detail...So If it's that I Think there is no error...This is a snapdragon 801
Can someone Try with CPU-Z ? Maybe more details & informations...

If you can get a GPU, memory or ISP clock, it might help accurately identifying the SoC, but GSMArena review says its the 801.

Yes it's true. Here they are some screens from the Xperia Z2 with processor details with CPU-Z application

These 3rd party apps are not always accurate, it says MSM8974 for the Xperia Z2 whet it has the MSM8974AB. I think they read these information from the app database based on device ID not from the actual device. Whether it's the 800 or 801, clocks will decide. Reviews and spec sheet say 801.

[Q] Benchmarks vs. Nexus One please

Since the two processors are different ...
G2: MSM7230 at 800 MHz
N1: QSD8250 at 1,000 MHz
... and I know you shouldn't compare MHz unless they're the exact same chip... which one is better overall?
Also, disregarding clock speed, what chip is newer / better? Meaning if you underclock the N1 to 800MHz which one would be better?
I know there are benchmark programs out there for Android.
Anybody run one on their G2? How do they compare to N1?
Thanks,
~Eric
Side note...
I tried posting this with 'at' symbols instead of the word "at" up by the clock speeds and I got this warning:

Sweet... thanks.
From what I heard about the G2, before it came out was that it wasn't anything special and didn't offer anything over any other phone already out there.
So its up to par with N1 as far as speed goes.
It doesn't have a front facing camera like the Evo does.
How is the flash on the G2? I have seen the Droid's and the N1's flash and they're awesome.
I'll probably upgrade to G2 as soon as its rooted (permanently).

Well, the MSM7230 chipset is technologically superior due to it being manufactured with a 45nm process, versus the QSD8250 being manufactured with a 65nm process. It also contains the new Adreno 205 GPU, whereas the QSD8250 makes use of the Adreno 200 GPU.

Two of cores are disabled ?

Hello!
The device is HTC One X updated to version 1.29.401.7
I installed a program that gives me information about hardware - Anfish. The information for the CPU gives the maximum and minimum frequency on last two of cores at 0 Mhz (see attached screenshot). Why? Does this mean that they are disabled and the device work only on two cores?
Probably means the app can't read all 4 cores
Give this app a try:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1615666&highlight=cpu
If do something CPU intensive, you should see all four cores in action (assuming everything is OK)

It's not gonna be running 4 cores all the time. Battery would drain even faster than it already is. It's hotplugging so for most general tasks it will run 2 cores.
Heavy tasks like games and benchmarks should use all 4 cores. Just make sure everything is updated and your on latest ota.

Wow HTC thinks it faulty even though it's meant to power down the cores when they are not needed.
if you guys want to see your cores doing their thing get tegra stats
http://goo.gl/EqjhS
and as for two cores disabled you can do this if you are rooted, mount as R/W go to /sys/kernel/debug/tegra_hotplug
open max_cpus and change it from 4 (default) to 2, will limit force the phone to only use 2 cores till you restart.
if you set to 1 it will still use two cores.

Benchmarks and real world rarely see eye to eye.
I prefer something that has tangible benefits, but if thats what floats your boat, have at it
Once again, neither disk or memory I/O (in nand based devices) has been a bottleneck for quite some time.
If it cannot show real, tangible improvements, its a waste of time. I have not seen anything showing that the Exynos vs. Omap4 in pure CPU are any better than each other. Unless we want to argue benches again.

Interesting, because its i/o is better than the GS2 for cpu and ram and about the same for disk (less for the reviewer's unit). Nexus 7 has a Tegra 3 and has no issues.
Maybe, just maybe, io isn't the real issue there. I honestly don't know. Its not the hardware though if the Nexus 7 doesn't have those issues. Also, maybe you weren't aware, but how you mount your filesystem affects io. Thats naught to do with hardware.
Another:
I also think you can plainly see from this one that aside from GPU, GS2 and Omap4 are fairly similar. I hate referring to benchmarks but I think its the only language you understand

Just downloaded it...
It's not the same CPU, kernel config file says "Broadcom BCM21654", not 21553, and Android sources (of course INCOMPLETE) says "arm-v7a" while our Y is an arm-v6
What about gpu?

Both don't have the same processor so not much useful ....
But I've got something I hope will be useful ....
There is a Samsung released open source ICS platform for a phone whose model no. is GT-S5302 which seems to be Galaxy Pocket Duos.

So what's soo intresting about it ?
It has got the same BCM21553 processor as our beloved Galaxy Y and most of its hardware is same except reduced screen size and dual sim capabilities.
I couldn't find much details about this phone as it is being sold in Russia apparently so i got review link showing the details and here are a few screenshots taken from the video embedded in the review confirming the processor and RAM details...

I hope this kernel will be useful for the Devs to build an ICS ROM for Galaxy Y which we've been waiting for long ....
I tried to share information which is true to the best of my knowledge, if anything is wrong please ignore this post.
Forgive me as i could not embedd the screenshots as this is my first post @XDA.
