Hi Guys,
I see the storm coming(that is the argument), so lets try and be nice!
If your hands sweat a lot over time, not even a vibrating key will help. Make sure your hands are sun dried when you tap on the screen or the menu and back button

How to disable the calling sensor?

Hey. Does anyone knows how to disable the sensor that turn off the display during calls? What is it called in hardware disabler app?
BTW. I'm not asking about the light sensor....
Thanks

You mean you want to disable the proximity sensor which turns off the display while holding it near your ear? although I can't really figure out why you want to do that, because it has nothing to do with you, but anyway you have to edit your init scripts and prevent the drivers being loaded.

Try to hit the side of your phone with your hand when you are in that black screen.. Your vibrations will start working again. (indian method...lolz)
If your phone is still in warranty period..unroot your phone and go to service center...this error is due to vibration motor in the device...
I am facing same hardware problrm!!
My phones warranty is expired. so can anyone give me idea how much will it will cost to fix the vibration at service center????

Edit-I'm on Samsung S Duos
I only registered to convey thanks for this solution. It was definitely driving me nuts. It drove me even more nuts when it worked. I had all sorts of service centre visits, costs, backups, formatting, uninstalls etc. running in my head.
I have to say the first time though the vibration worked with one hit at the blank screen but then the phone still wouldn't vibrate at calls. Then I retried the code and kept hitting the phone on my palm 8 to 10 times at the blank screen. This did the trick Am back in business now.
Definitely an Indian solution ))
Thanks

Can we get (knock-ON) feature of LG G2 for our xperia m....?

Any port for this app by which we can light up the device just by tapping twice on the screen...
Sent from my C1904 using Tapatalk
Kernel is responsible for this.I dont know anymore.
Sent from my C1604 using Tapatalk
That feature should be embedded in to the kernel to work.. There is a feature called DT2W(Double Tap to Wake), which is present on many of the kernels for other devices.
And there is an app called Proximity screen off, which does the same thing,if i am not wrong You guys can try it.
Thanks I will try that app for now....And If anybody is building rom for xm then pls tell them to port this feature for XM
Sent from my C1904 using Tapatalk
For this feature i have write touchscreen driver from scratch which requires many hours and debugging. I partially need help in this one maybe @DooMLoRD will help us.

No idea but im building a kernel.... And I will try to implement sweep2wake if I can.. It's the same like knock thingy but instead of tapping ppb the screen you just slide your finger from the left to right screen edge and the phone will wake up
