I know that, but my device does not have LTE option to choose. This is regional locked by software becouse the devices for our country didn't need LTE until now.

So,all you need is to flash a newer radio.
you can find it here.
Download Radio_13.55.55.24H_3.35.20.10 version.
You should only use cwm 2.x version to flash this.
hey the update did really help me a little. but not as expected. thanx newayz...

Hey XDA!
I am very new here on XDA, only just registered!
I have a very bad problem (well for me!)
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100)
It has stock firmware and a custom kernel, Note2Core.
I can't seem to connect to my local carrier, the root of this problem is yet unknown!
Only thing I have so far is that in:
Settings > About Device, right at the bottom I there is United Arab Emirates and a TRA ID and a TA!
I do not know what this means but it looks like my phone is registered to be from the UAE! I personally bought it here in South-Africa and it worked fine. Until recently I was running CM10.1-Nightly but wanted the capability to overclock! I downloaded the stock firmware for my country, 4.1.2, and flashed it via odin. Please help as I am unable to register with WhatsApp or use some of my other features!
Thanks in advance,

I downloaded the firmware from Sammobile.
I don't know if that's the correct firmware, but I am under the impression that I can download for any country actually?
Yes, I wrote down the IMEI number before all of my flashing! It is still the same.
Thanks for the welcome, I already feel like part of the family!

None really, just the fact that I can't connect to my local carrier. I have to put roaming on.
And this has nothing to do with your provider/sim card? Did you try another provider?
Hello, how i can see how much internal memory i have? 16gb, 32gb, etc... when i go to the apps there's only about 10gb but i think the minimum is 16gb so i'm confused.

Yes, They are unable to support me, since I used a custom rom beforehand. My local sevice providers are pretty useless anyway!

Hey Mars, (or is that your location?)
I believe the avail storage depends on your rom, kernel ,ect. I also only have about 9.6 GB avail in stock but about 12GB in CM10.1.
The missing storage is your device rom and/or system apps I think, might only be the system apps.

Take a look through my SkyHigh ROM thread. I think I might have your CSC as an Aroma install option. This is what I believe you need.
A CSC changer app might also help (root also required) but will wipe your data.
Having the correct CSC should enable the options in device settings, as well as automatically settings your APN & MMS
Edit: just checked my ROM. Your CSC isn't listed but Singapore might work for you. Just guessing though.

problem with network needs to be repaired lg-g3 d885

I wanted to fix internet network on 4G so from dailpad I enterd
*
855
#
3845
#
which is advanced way for modifing on mobiles settings, but once I enteren on:
LTE-ONLY> Modem Setting > LTE Band Selection
and by fault I chose on a band(don't know which one) then the 4G is refusing to connect at all. <<<-------problem starts from here
I tried to repair it by choosing these bands: (band3=1800Mhz & band40=2300Mhz) sence it's our bands here in Saudi Arabia for STC company, but it didn't work.
In my city the only ban activated is 40=2300Mhz.
Do you have any solutions? let formatting be the last solution.
if I upgraded to lollipop would it solve the problem?

[I747M] Change CSC

Hello everybody,
I have a samsung I747M from Canada. I'm french and I'm using it here.
Data connexions are only in EDGE (the same as 2G). I want to have 3G data connexions. All the settings in the NPA are good.
I think the problem come from the CSC which is still the one attached to Canada (BMC).
All the firmwares are for Canada. I want to change the CSC (BMC now) to XEF (the one for France).
Does someone have an idea to fix this situation ?
Thank you and Merry Christmas !
PS : Sorry for my english...
You might have to carrier network unlock the phone.
Does the i747m support the carrier's 3g frequencies?

Thank you for your answer but my phone is already unlocked.
I'm using it in France with a local operator (Bouygues). Data connexions are only in 2G and not in 3G.
I think if I will change the CSC it will be good

I've checked and it works in 3G
I don't think it is a firmware problem because I took my s3 to London a couple of years ago. It was running stock bell firmware, network unlocked, and I was able to get 3G data connections without doing anything to the stock rom. Changing the Csc should not make a difference.
