I saw that nobody have built or ported this awesome ROM to LG Optimus L7 P700/L5 E610 so I thought to manage it. I'm proudly presenting my first build for LG Optimus L7 P700:

NOTE:- This build isn't tested yet. So please download this ROM and flash it and test everything and report bugs to me! No member of Optima Team can't test this, that's why I'm asking here for testers.
I'm happy for any kind of review!
But why Jelly Bean and not latest KitKat? - Because I've build ChameleonOS KitKat already for 3 devices and all of them had the same bugs. So it's not ready to build, yet. But Jelly Bean is very stable and let's hope there are no bugs!

I have asked to "optima team" what do you think about a "full finished" development of CM 10.2.1 (with latests sources) ... and the team have said that it would be very very interesting ! because it's a superb rom .
i ask it because general AOSP KK is not very good for our phone ...and not "stable" for a looooong time ( at cyanogenmod for example ,they will make only "snapshots" )
what do you think about ?!

I think that too. This is a low budget device, so it runs better on lower Android versions like Jelly Bean!

My concern with this build is where I can get kernel for 705. :'(

i test it now and it's very laggy ( i change the launcher and it's better ,but laggy )...no all rom translation, all seems work but there are some bugg (i can't disable balcklight buttons for example )
this built have the old THLG kernel (it was expérimental unfinished ,no optimised ,in test project at the first period of the L7 rom story when 4.3 was released ) ,and the base seems to be the laggy/unfinished old Cr3pt's CM10.2
I'm very happy that Optima team begin to be interrested by 4.3.1 roms for L7 ! ( ipray for CM10.2 ) , i begin to find the hope for our devise ,it's a good things ! :angel: i begin to be a fan !

Thanks for your awesome review I was waiting for!
As I built that ROM from source I can't use his ROM as base, but as you said I can use the same kernel as cr3pt used in his ROM. I will download the kernel source, make a new build and add the original developer in credits
EDIT: Maybe the laggs were caused by the unfinished kernel. So let's hope this build will be fine
EDIT2: Now I put the new kernel into my source, I will now start building a new clean build. Please test this build too if you have time! :good:

Don't like this rom because have many bug for now. But this rom have the best performance for ahead! I use this rom all days since one week ago. Don't stop this Ron! Thanks and congratulations for your work!
Yes, please, don't stop OMGB and OMFGB. There are only minor issues on it. It will be the best rom for P350 when:
-Rotation is fully working
-USB fully works
-Screen size bugs are fixed. The upper dialer numbers, repeat button on music app and other minor stuff are cut in half because this rom was probably ported from a phone with bigger screen.
When you fix these bugs, OMGB and OMFGB will be the best roms for P350. I'm already using it daily because it's the best rom for gaming, super fast.

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
I know this is Nightly build but still is a experimental of CyanogenMod 9 for the LG Optimus Me P350.CM9 is based on latest AOSP sources plus some useful tweaks and features.
The device specific part for the LG OPTIMUS ME is under heavy Development,. As long as there have bugs , we'll not accept any feature requests.
If something doesn't work like expected, it's your problem. Don't ask about any fixes. These are experimental builds and not meant to be used as a daily driver.
They're only meant for testing!

Cm10 is much faster than Cm10.1. How you didn't notice it?
Hey ahmed can you fix my ROM's name? It's GamerzROM. Not Gamerz ROM.
And please type ROM version you get tweaks to info. Because I will integrate next tweaks to framework not ini.d. I will commit these tweaks to some of my friends ROM's from git(Only aways ROM's for now.). If you type version that will be more fair.

Its not as if I dont know that CM10 is faster. Just that development in the CM10 tree is pretty slow, now that it is stable , and the kernels are not updated for quite some time too.

Which differences you saw on kernel since cm10? Linux 3.0.80? What this gained? Even if you compare linux 3.0 and 3.10 you won't see dramatically improved speed or something. Cm10 million times faster with stock kernel than Cm10.1 full overclocked 410mb ram conf. There is no a big difference on visual framework and chrome, google play music etc works 2 times smoother on this one. (Not even usable on cm10.1.)

I totally agree with this.
There are like 2018570912953072 ROMs here at XDA, promising the blue of the sky, the yellow of the egg, the edge of all ROMs.
Changelog/features of useless ROMs usually look like this:
*) FULLY TWEAKED
*) BEST BATTERY LIFE EVAR
*) BUILD.PROP GALORE
*) ALL OTHER ROMS ARE CRAP
*) I AM AWESOME, GET OVER IT

Please provide *exact* information on what was done, e.g. I don't believe you when you say you increased 'video recording quality'. Without significant changes in the display HAL and kernel space, this is impossible.
Performance through research. Not Win-zip porting 'features', 'enhancements' etc from others, or just adding a few new files here and there in /system and insist on being the fastest, best, most awesome ROM.
It's like having a Mercedes (i.e. stock rom) and you're adding a new engine, which can order food, a plastic bumper at the front and a wooden antenna.

We are not against anything you've done or you're going to. But I can borrow some things from 'Themes and Apps' thread, get a stock ROM, apply the changes, add some useless things to build.prop and say 'yo try out this brand new ROM running faster than Sonic and being smooth as a butt of a child'. And it won't be different from your ROM so much.
This is not the first time I say that XDA is getting a ton of new 'ROMs' which are actually just the compilations of new stuff. It wouldn't be bad if there weren't over9000 of the same ROMs without any changes under the hood

I am on the latest home build, using your sources, no torch app! I nicked the torch app from my hammerhead and it is working fine, it failed to compile in the build. no biggie.

I believe omni has remaved that feature from their official sources, so you won't find it.

It's still a work in progress, so you can compile it in yourself if you feel like it, but it's not in the official repo's.
I'm unable to download the newest version (the one linked with the download-image in the first post).
Can someone point me into the right direction?

That is weird, the link is for my Omni build folder, it is working for me!!

Also I wonna ask all of Omni lovers, what do you prefer:
Keep everything as official as possible (as stable as possible)
Merge some features in the ROM (like multiwindow, On-The-Go mode, Battery Saver mode, App Circle sidebar, etc....)
Provide builds of both!! (that would reduce the amount of updates to the half)
Please give me your opinion about this:angel:

Just merge engine themes ,lock screen control features DPI fly , multi window , Status bar and drawer full control features . It's well be great

Yes, I am. Torch toggle works perfectly, but the app has a bug: if you enable fullscreen and restart the app as requested, there's no way to revert that choice - except by delete deleting the app's data.

Apart from the bug mentioned above, I only noticed a quite warm area in the upper center of the phone's back. But that might be due heavy usage a couple of minutes before my "measurement"..
GPS, however, works perfectly! [emoji41]
I'm only missing some features within the default launcher, but I guess you can't merge what's not written in the Omni base code (e. g. empty homescreen pages or 3 "pages" instead of only 1 in the lower shortcut bar - just like CM does offer both)..

Changelog:
- Nothing significant, only upstreaming with official OMNI team changes.

Next build might take sometime, but it should be a customized version of OMNI

A fully customizable "Battery Saver Mode" would be awesome, with control over everything on that is related to battery saving functionality..
Please see attached screenshot (bottom of the picture) - phone number is shown as "unknown". This is probably a bug..
