FAQ
Q: Why theme a TouchWiz ROM? Why not use an AOSP-based ROM?
A: I tried AOSP-based ROMs. I love them. Unfortunately, I live in a low-signal area. The RIL stack in AOSP-based ROMs has difficulty locking onto a 1xRTT signal in low-reception areas. The TouchWiz RIL stack doesn't appear to have this problem. Basically, I can't make or receive calls from my bedroom with AOSP-based ROMs and this gives me an AOSP look and feel without the signal issues.
Q: Can I use your ROM as a base for some other work?
A: I don't care. I don't even care if you give me credit. However, please be sure to give credit to those that are credited in my OP. They worked very hard and deserve the kudos.
Q: Will you be updating this to use NDC as a base?
A: No. The NDC base doesn't include the framework necessary for native tethering support.
Q: Will you be including an advertisement blocker in a future update?
A: I will never include an advertisement blocker in the ROM. A developer's bread and butter is often comprised of the advertising revenue that they take in. See this article over on Ars Technica for a detailed explanation of why ad blocking is harmful.
Q: I have a super great idea for something I'd like to see included in your ROM. How do I get it into Conquest?
A: Ask for it in the thread. I monitor this thread as much as I can. If I feel a "feature request" would not improve the experience of the ROM, or if it is not possible to implement due to technical reasons, then I won't include/implement it. Feel free to do so on your own. Do not PM me with feature requests. Any such requests will be referred back to the forum thread and FAQs. Such requests are also far less likely to ever be implemented.
Q: Why is this ROM almost 3 times a big as an AOSP ROM?
A: The ROM zip file includes not only the base system, but also the Google apps and most of the TouchWiz apps that come with ND8. Not all of the apps that are in the zip file will be installed. You can customize your installation via the included Aroma installer which runs when you flash the ROM from recovery. So the installed ROM is really only as big as you make it.
Q: I tried to install a full release and/or update. Why can't recovery open the file/why did the install fail?
A: This is usually caused by a corrupted download. Please check the md5 of the file you downloaded against the md5 posted on this page.
Q: I didn't wipe the recommended partitions during installation/update. Why are some features not working after flashing/why is my phone unstable?
A: There are recommended areas to wipe for a reason. At this point, I would recommend starting from scratch with the latest full release.
Q: I want to install the latest release and all updates in order. I found the download link for the latest update, but where are the links for the previous updates?
A: Updates are cumulative unless otherwise specified. You only need to install the latest update after a full release.
Q: I installed the latest update. Why am I experiencing force-closes and/or other errors?
A: While installing updates normally requires wiping only cache and dalvik-cache, your experience may vary. I test all of my updates from a clean install of the latest full release and can guarantee that they will work when installed in this manner. If you experience any errors, follow the instructions for a full install.
Q: I just installed a full release. Why is my phone stuck on the Samsung logo/KT747 splash screen/boot animation?
A: This is a bootloop. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache and reinstall. If you still bootloop, your phone may not be compatible with the KT747 kernel. Post in the thread with details of what steps you took to install/troubleshoot, as well as what options you chose during install (as many as you can remember), what baseband your phone is on, and what recovery you are using.
Q: I chose to make a backup prior to installing and/or wipe a partition via OTA Update Center before flashing an update, but there's no backup and/or nothing got wiped. Why?
A: Philz recovery isn't fully compatible with the scripting language that OTA Update Center uses. I do not recommend flashing updates from within OTA Update Center. You can find the files that OTA Update Center downloads in the /scdard/OTA-Update folder. Please navigate there in recovery and flash the files manually after making a backup.
Q: Why don't I have the option to install TouchWiz Messaging when I choose AOSP/Google on the dialer selection screen?
A: TouchWiz Messaging is incompatible with the AOSP in-call app (TeleService.apk) and requires the TouchWiz in-call app (SecPhone.apk) to properly send and receive messages. While AOSP Contacts works fine with the TouchWiz in-call app, the Google Dialer cannot access call history from the TouchWiz in-call app.
Q: Why can't I find feature xyz?
A: If it's not in the list of features in the OP or in the changelog, it probably doesn't exist in this ROM. Feel free to implement it yourself.
Q: I have Xposed framework and xyz module installed. Why isn't feature xyz working?
A: Some Xposed modules conflict with the functionality built into the ROM. I don't personally use Xposed, therefore I will not test for compatibility with the framework or modules.
Q: Why does my device lag/stutter/etc. when the screen is off?
A: The KTweaker app included in the ROM has the ability to set separate minimum/maximum frequencies when the screen is off (screen off profile) as a means of prolonging battery. The values can be customized in KTweaker.
Q: Why doesn't anything happen when I enable/disable "Battery precentage on icon," "3Minit Battery Mod," or "On-screen navigation bar" in settings?
A: These options require you to reboot your phone after enabling them to activate them.
Q: Where is the Roaming settings/motion settings menu?
A: The Roaming settings and motion settings menu were removed from the settings app because they are hard-coded to work only with the TouchWiz apps.
Q: Why don't the special dialer codes work?
A: Special dialer codes (a.k.a. secret codes or ## codes) don't work in the Google dialer. However, a link to the hidden dialer code menu has been added to the Developer options menu in settings.
Q: Why can't I set contact photos in the TouchWiz Contacts/People app?
A: The Contacts app was originally hardcoded to use only the TouchWiz Gallery app to select photos. This limitation has been removed as of Conquest: Singularity 4.1 with the caveat that selecting photos using Google+ Photos does not work. Most other apps should work fine. You can still set contact photos from within the Google+ Photos app directly.
Q: Why can't I send/receive MMS/picture messages in 8sms?
A: 8sms requires a little extra configuration for some users in order to get MMS working properly:
Launch 8sms
Open the settings menu within 8sms
Scroll down and select "Multimedia (MMS) messages"
Scroll down and select "MMS settings"
Scroll down and select "Extra http headers"
Enter X-MDN: ##LINE1## and tap "OK"
Press back until you are back to the main 8sms screen
Send a MMS to yourself or ask someone else to send one to you to test
If these steps don't make MMS work for you, please send a bug report to the developer of 8sms.
Q: Where can I find themes for this ROM/how do I apply a theme/how do I make a theme for this ROM?
A: All of my themes, along with a theming-related FAQ and a brief tutorial on theme making can be found here.
Q: I sent you a private message about a problem I'm experiencing with this ROM. Why haven't you answered?
A: I don't provide support via private messages. If it's a legitimate problem/bug, post it in the forum for everyone to see. That way, there are more people that can potentially answer and everyone can also see the solution. Sending me a private message with a bug report (unless I have approached you via private message prior regarding an issue or feature testing, etc.) is a great way to get yourself added to my ignore list.
Q: I don't like your bad attitude, rude answers, or lack of willingness to help. What should I do?
A: Use a different ROM.

06/06/2014 Singularity/1.3
Removed "Page Buddy" and "Home Screen Mode" from settings (they don't work without TouchWiz Launcher)
Removed "Battery Full/100%" notification

First! My first first, I think. ☺
Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII on TouchWiz 4.4.2 with Wicked X v6.5, Ktoonsez' latest kernel and the latest Philz Touch Recovery.

Well this came out of nowhere, looks good... Nice work.

Exactly what I want, a stock based AOSP lookalike ROM. Two questions though. Would this work on Ring+? And on this ROM is the profile/prl update setting available?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

There is NOTHING I dislike about this rom... I have tethering ability, proper screen rotation (the Sprint based 4.4.2 stock version is whacked with regards to screen orientation)... and Google Now works properly (another problem I had on the previous rom). That said, you deleted my favorite keyboard which I totally understand but would like to have it back. Where can I get the APK for it? Or is it something I need to flash? Either way, do you have it so it can be downloaded?
Thanks so much for your work. I'm not the only one who greatly appreciates your blood, sweat and tears! :good:

You can rip anything you want out of any other ROM zip that you've downloaded. I'm not smart enough to know if there's any problem just installing the stock Samsung keyboard apk but trying won't hurt.

With the proper APNs added, this ROM should work on any Sprint MVNO. I am not familiar with Ring+. And yes, update PRL/Profile works as it should.
There's a bug in the script that I used to enable toggles for dirty flashes in the 1.2 and 1.3 updates. Nothing harmful but will be fixed in a forthcoming release.

Congratulations on the release man. Looks very nice. If you need anything let me know.
The stock samsung keyboard should work unless moon removed the required libs

libxt9core.so should still be in there. I don't believe I removed it. Other than the Knox stuff, I kept everything that I removed in a separate folder, just in case.
Also:
06/07/2014 Singularity/1.4
Replaced all TouchWiz lockscreen sounds with AOSP/CyanogenMod lockscreen sounds
Disabled Missed Event lockscreen notification
Enabled stock android boot animation support
Switched Google Play Edition boot animation from QMG to bootanimation.zip version
Disabled Samsung QMG boot animation support
Disabled shutdown animation
Disabled startup/shutdown sounds
Fixed bug that generated duplicate toggles on each flash of the update ZIP
Be aware that this update will reset your quick settings toggles to default.

Awesome
Sweet ROM, keep up the great work. Looking forward to future updates!

RELEASE NOTES
The installer in this release includes the ability to install many of the Samsung/TouchWiz apps that were removed in the 1.x series giving you the ability to customize your experience to your liking.
Please be aware that the Samsung/TouchWiz apps are installed as system apps and cannot be removed without a root uninstaller (ES File Explorer, Titanium Backup, etc.).
The installer will also allow you to choose not to install many of the Google/AOSP apps that were pre-installed in the 1.x series.
To access these options, choose "customize" during installation. Choosing "Default" will install the same app set that comes standard in the 1.x series.

This is... perfect. I haven't spent much time on it yet, and I really just got it going, but the AOSP look and feel is incredible. I love the Google Now Launcher, and the fact that it's by default on here...
If the battery life on this thing is good, this ROM will be the best of all worlds.
Thanks for the up, and I'm very impressed so far!

Battery life is comparable to most TW ROMs. Mainly depends on your CPU frequency and governor settings, which can be tuned with the included KTweaker app. Be sure to thank ktoonsez for his kernel/app.

I have been using Ktoonservative for the most part, but when using a previous ROM, anytime the phone was asleep I had some pretty significant drops in background audio processes.
Audio books failed to play without skipping and I had a white noise app that continually stuttered to the point where it was unusable. I don't know if it was ROM or Kernel that was causing the issue, but hopefully this ROM/Kernel combo works.
As of now I'm using the adaptive governor in KTweaker.

KTweaker has the ability to set a 'screen off' profile. Often, the screen off profile has lower maximum frequencies than the normal one to save battery life when the screen is off but give better performance when you're actually using the phone. I'd check there if you're having trouble with audio skipping/stuttering.

Nice update. Love this rom

Legal Stuffs
Yeah yeah... I know you guys already know this but it's just one of those things you gotta say anyway: Bad things can happen to your phone when you flash custom ROMs and mods. We at SynergyROM are not responsible if anything bad happens to you, your associates, or your device by flashing this ROM or any other modifications posted in this thread or others.
Reviews:
Q&A
Q: How do I install this ROM?
A: Download the ROM from the "Download Links" section above, place the file on your phone's external SD card, and then flash via your recovery.
Q: How can I enable mass storage mode?
A:
Code:
To enable mass storage mode:
1) Plug your phone into the computer via USB and MTP will likely open as it usually does
2) Open a command prompt
3) Type: adb shell mountsd
At this point the phone's external sd card will open up in mass storage mode (so you can use it just like a usb drive). Be advised that mass storage and MTP cannot mount the SD card at the same time so MTP will show the SD card with folders empty and something like -1330850028 bytes of storage - don't panic, this is normal since, again, it can only be mounted one place at a time.
Code:
To get back to MTP:
1) While still plugged in via USB
2) Open a command prompt
3) Type: adb shell unmountsd
Q: Why can't I "adb remount"?
A: This is a symptom of the locked down kernel. We've created a workaround for now.
Code:
To set /system as R/W, in a terminal or command prompt type:
adb shell
su
sysrw
Code:
To set /system back to R/O, in a terminal or command prompt type:
adb shell
su
sysro
Q: How do I lower the WiFi transmit power?
A: Do the following
Code:
We've added iwconfig. This lets you set wifi transmit power. Download "wifi tx power" from play store or run the following commands:
adb shell iwconfig wlan0 txpower X
X == txpower(in dBm). 32/25/18/11/4
To make sure it set run :
adb shell iwconfig
and look at TX-Power (3rd row down)
Q: What other tools does this ROM have
A:
Native Wireshark app support
RUN THESE FROM INSIDE ADB SHELL:
Latencytop - For latency monitoring
htop - A system monitor
Powertop - Run with screen off to show number of wakes per second (helpful for finding rogue processes, batt drain, SODs, etc)
We also added the following text editors:
vim
nano
Q: Why doesn't this ROM have ___________ feature?
A: We listen to our users, so please leave us a polite request in the forums and we'll see what we can do about incorporating it
Q: This ROM is awesome! Will you have my baby?
A: No, but we do take a significant amount of time away from our wives/families to work on these ROM tweaks so that you don't have to. Donations help keep us motivated to continue to do so.
Multicarrier support was added for AT&T with r257 - anything before that will not work for AT&T. However, you should flash r290 or higher for proper AT&T support.
Read this post to get up to speed on multicarrier: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=37069812&postcount=15663

In OP under download links
http://beta.androidfilehost.com/?a=show&w=files&flid=660
Look for r290
Does this have issues with GPS? Its been quite a issue going from Multicarrier rooms, and att ones etc that can cause GPS to go out. I just went back to stock and rooted.
Will this rom cause my GPS to stop locking?
Also any ideas on battery life from testing?

It's been working fine for our testers.
Only caveat is if you happen to use PDroid Manager then you need to long press on Network Location in that app, then click the dropdown top-right and select "allow"

It seems that something in the customization menu was causing the bootloop. Flashed with the default config and it seems to be booting.

Any plans for d2can support? Rogers user here... tried flashing the Rom but installer does not support Canadian carriers.
Looks great though. Thanks for sharing
Edit: after following this thread I learned that it is the recovery that the installer determines which carrier you are on. I originally installed twrp via goomanager which gave me d2can. Installed the latest d2att via terminal and was able to install the Rom.
All setup now with the settings I prefer and everything working great (gps, LTE, WiFi) running with the latest kt kernel.

Sweet!!!! Thanks Team Synergy! I loved the Team's work back when I had my HTC TBOLT. The past cpl builds have been running amazing for me. Also, this ROM works well with Morphology.
Couple screenies.
Also, here are a cpl of screenies stock.
This was from a few builds ago.

Switch to Ziggys 1/15 kernel. Should be a link for it somewhere in the OP. If not Ziggy has a thread somewhere in the Original Development section I believe.

Loserskater This guy is the man, seriously. I would not be able to do this without him. I've lost count on how many things he's contributed to this ROM, past and present. AOSP MMS would not be possible on touchwiz without him. Give him your thanks, guys like him make this community what it is.
enewman17 - I've learned alot from breaking open your rom's and seeing what's inside, great dev and alot of Dandroid would not be possible without him, I've had to keep his APK's decompiled for reference this whole time,

XDA:DevDB Information
[ROM] Dandroid 5 [4.3 TW] [AOSP Theme] , a ROM for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S III
Contributors
Danvdh, enewman17, Loserskater
ROM OS Version: 4.3.x Jellybean
ROM Kernel: Linux 3.0.x
Based On: Touchwiz
Version Information
Status: Stable
Created 2013-09-04
Last Updated 2014-02-20
If you're having issues on my ROM that no one else is reporting, or I haven't reproduced on my phone, read the following.
1) Full wipe
2) Do not restore System data or data from CWM
3) Do not dirty flash from other ROM's
4) When was the last time you did a odin to stock? this is important in my opinion and I'm not saying you need to do one but I just want to explain that custom zip's that I make and other dev's make in the shape of "roms" only affect
a few partitions on your device, other's do not get touched and can get messy/corrupt over the months (This explains why the GPS icon disappears in some peoples cases during rom switch) and this is why I get posts in this thread about people wondering why their baseband hasn't been updated after flashing my rom when my post states "MF1"
With this being said my personal rule of thumb is to odin to stock latest and then boot into stock recovery and factory reset, wipe cache/dalvik (BACKUP YOUR SD CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER), this gives your phone fresh partitions everywhere, a fresh system to root and the latest bootloader (which you need for any AOSP 4.2 rom). This is also a good time to unlock your phone if you have not already, then reroot and install custom recovery, update the recovery if need be and flash again on a brand new system. here are my steps
1) backup all user apps and data with titanium backup, DO NOT BACKUP SYSTEM APP'S
2) backup internal storage onto PC
3) Odin to stock latest
4) wait for phone to boot then reboot into stock recovery and full wipe and clear all cache
5) reboot and root the phone and custom recovery
6) flash away and put what you need on your internal storage back onto your phone via usb, see my 2nd set of instructions below
this fixes more issues then you will realize. some of the way people flash rom's on XDA and complain to me with problems is rather funny considering I have the install instructions in the OP, not to mention many of you rooted your phone when you first got it in the ICS 4.0.4 day's and haven't done an odin to stock jellybean to update all your partitions including your bootloader, now I will go over my every day flashing step's.
1)backup all USER APPS/DATA with titanium backup, DO NOT BACKUP SYSTEM APP'S (skip this if you did a odin flash to stock)
2)reboot recovery
3)nandroid (skip this if you did a odin flash to stock)
4)factory reset, wipe system, wipe both cache/dalvik
5)install rom
6)boot system
7)*(OPTIONAL) reboot to install a kernel now if needed, always wipe cache/dalvik and fix permissions after installing a kernel
8)setup phone and download titanium backup from the market
9)restore all user apps and data (you will have to put the titanium backup folder that is backed up on your computer back onto your internal storage via usb first)
Every 6 months, backup internal storage to PC and I odin to stock, much like formatting a computer
6 months is actually a long time considering how much I flash, but this device can take a beating let me tell you =P
I DO THIS WITH EVERY ROM I INSTALL, AOSP or TW

Thank you guys I hope I hear some t-mobile feedback soon, can't wait to hear what this community thinks of my rom. I'm not expecting any issues, tons of downloads today on at&t and all is quiet, which tells me no issues for anybuddy there :victory:
Wow, what a great-looking release. Just charging my phone so I can flash and try. Few questions, is the lock screen AOSP as well or what? And this means I can also flash themes that Wasabiwa made without having to tweak the SystemUI/Framework?

The lock screen is touchwiz, I didn't add AOSP lock screen because I don't really like it and it caused me some issues on some previous builds, I may add AOSP lock screen in a future build but for now I feel Samsung did the lock screen right on TW, as for your other question, yes you can theme whatever you want since I de-odexed the file system for you :highfive:
Looking good..downloading now

Just curious as to what issues it caused you on previous builds? I've added the AOSP lockscreen to this and re-themed, and it seems to be working great. I added a modified framework-res.apk that disables the menu-button-unlocks "feature", as well. I've somehow lost the ability to hold my home button down to bring up recent apps, but I'm sure that's due to me either adding the AOSP lockscreen package, or some other tweak I've done.
All in all, this is a great ROM. Well done Danvdh! :good:

That's just it, it would either be menu unlocks the phone or long hold of home doesn't work, What I may do is just make a flashable zip when I get time for the people that do want the AOSP lock screen. I didn't want to bake it in because it would cause one issue or another, I like everything to be 100% perfect right out of the box on a fresh wipe/install, I am however glad you got it installed successfully, I knew it was 100% compatible but like I said above, not 100% perfect
I'm glad you like everything, this rom is butter. :highfive:
First, thank you for this rom. It's exactly what I need and all the features seem to work well on my Canadian Videotron SGS3.
Is it possible to revert back to the stock theme ? Also, what is the difference between intellidemand/noop and intellidemand/sio ?
Yep you can theme however you want everything is compatible as I have deodexed the system for you. also noop and sio are both great choices. Refer here for all that information http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2019597n
I don't want theme, how to revert back to the stock ?
Thank you.

GPS work fine for me. In fact I have instant lock in less than 15 seconds. Maybe try GPS Status and/or FasterFix from Google Play.

GPS instant lock here too, sounds like you lost gps on flash, do you see the icon on the left even flashing? if not, don't worry, its not the rom, because most likely no matter what rom you flash too (Which I recommend you to try your nandroid backup or another rom first), the issue will remain, its not the kernel either, in fact it seems to be another partition our custom recovery's don't wipe when we do a full wipe/cache clear, check here for more information, its actually quite an easy fix but a time consuming one that can happen randomly, much like a IMEI getting lost mysteriously during a flash to rom that you know is safe and stable. This has happened to me once flashing another rom and it was completely random, I could not repeat the issue, some people say it happens when you flash from a port to a rom that was designed for your carrier.
WiFi calling works?

FAQ:
DEPRECIATED FOR THE MOST PART...
Q: Does this ROM update my firmware?
A: No.. I would NEVER force an hboot install and/or a radio install during a ROM install..
flashing an hboot is a very dangerous flash as it is, you want to make sure everything checks out 100%,'
To get on the latest you can simply download the latest OTA 1.10.605.10 firmware this link will help you out. Since 1.10.605.15 has hit the OTA waves, I am awaiting for Santod to make a base, as there is no need to re-invent the wheel and he already said he is making one as he has done in the past and does a great job. For firmware 1.10.605.15 you can find it here. Once downloaded save them in a folder on your computer. It will give you easy access to finding the best radio to suite you, the newest is not always the best.
Q: Why is Group Messaging not working?
A: This is the way it came from HTC.. I did comb through the smali code and fixed it though..
Please flash the AromaMOD.zip and choose any of the messaging apps BESIDES stock.. and Group Messaging is fixed. After v1.4.1 you can choose stock as I will include the fix in that stock .apk.
Q: How can I add blinkfeed back to home screen?
A: Go to settings > personalize > home screen style and hit apply for blinkfeed.
WARNING: once you do this, you CAN'T remove it.
Q: I keep getting 3g, when I should be getting 4g?
A: Make a backup of your rom and internal storage and copy them to a PC..
Flash the stock rom and recovery and do a factory reset.
Then reflash your custom recovery and rom or backup.
Follow Santold040's guide here, it works great. - Credit and thank you to @santod040
Q: How do I remove the power saver notification?
A:Use adb:
1. Run
Code:
[COLOR="Sandybrown"]adb shell[/COLOR]
It will become something like this:
Code:
[email protected]:/ #
If there is no
Code:
#
symbol, then type
Code:
su
2. Type this
Code:
pm disable com.htc.htcpowermanager/.powersaver.PowerSaverNotificationReceiver
3. Press Enter and Reboot.
Use terminal emulator:
1. type
Code:
su
and press enter
2. Type this
Code:
pm disable com.htc.htcpowermanager/.powersaver.PowerSaverNotificationReceiver
3. Press Enter and Reboot
TO RE-ENABLE:
1. Type this
Code:
pm enable com.htc.htcpowermanager/.powersaver.PowerSaverNotificationReceiver
First!! Lol never done that before. Feels weird... Thanks for the ROM Andy. Looks sick.

wait why are there 2 bonestock threads?
DevDB thread. old one will probably be closed, I'm guessing.
Nice!
I'm surprised that I've come to really like Sense 5 this past month, but the VZW bloatware has been driving me nuts!
Thanks for working on this, man, just what I needed.
omg this. I said it in another topic but I'll say it again. While I've always loved HTC, I've always hated Sense. But this blinkfeed thing is WAY COOL. I've tried to use feedly for my news, but it's always full in information overload, not to mention garbage news like kim kardashian (who gives a **** about that **** anyway?) but blinkfeed gives me only what's worth reading, and in just the right dosage.
Crap, I may have opened this wrong, please post in the other thread until I can get these merged, thank you!
Why is there two threads?
Is Google Now still here? I was looking to add a short cut but couldn't find voice search...
Sent from the One phone to rule them all!
Great Rom. Is there a way to add PIE to this?

I couldn't find it either...
It looks like the mods closed the original thread, per Andy's request, so I guess the discussions will move here now.
Andy, I am loving the rom. I have noticed that I am not connecting to 4G as much as before though. I still connect, but not as often.

The other one is closed now. I agree rom rocks socks.
Sorry about the thread mess, I guess it's quite a bit harder to merge threads. I was hoping the other would get deleted, I'll request for that to hopefully avoid further confusion.
This thread is new ROM home. .
XDA now has a spot up top for screen shots, and a place for us to upload the ROM. So this will be another server for me to upload to.

quick question. is v1.1.1 (whats in the DL link at top of thread that you mentioned) the same as v1.1? If not, will we need to wipe to flash the new version?
Thanks

Kevp75 and I share with you @tamirda's S5 Phoenix ROM
for the Galaxy Note 3 N900T
SCREENSHOTS
FOR USERS:
Several important notes:
This is important. 4.4.2 Android system got a better "butter project" and it is hella smooth. In my installation I didn't choose even one tweak. There is no need. There are several tweaks that already inside the rom. But if you really want to flash more tweaks, be careful because it might make your system slow.
Use V5 wisely. I mean, when selecting Apps/tweaks, don't try to "test" the rom. becuase choosing all option will give you endless very laggy system because system patition won't have free space/some tweaks conflict with other.

You can choose now tweaks you want to install!
Tweaks list:
EXT4 Tweaks:
This mod will turn ON data_writeback for all 3 partitions - system, data and cache. This will drastically improve I/O performance (mostly on write operations) at the expense of file system integrity in certain situations, like unexpected system shutdown. The risk is not extreme, but still bigger then regular. Use this to improve your system performance, but you flash it at your own risk!

Hey does anybody have any feedback on this rom?
There doesn't seem to be much feedback on this - I tried it last weekend and it is very good - @Ouweshs28 I hope that you will continue to work on this!

Agree - cmhprovider crashes - Also, OK Google detection not working.
how i did not notice this rom... bluh
btw, any news for flat version... battery? how it holds up?
Rom is awesome at first, love smart manager but battery life should be confirmed tho, here`s what i found so far...
Installation bug:
- if you choose AryaMod while installing, you`r done... install does not completes and if you reboot, you`r in bootloop
- Choosing SCloud & SAccount and/or some samsung apps is pointless, won`t be installed
It needs little more control for users like:
- let user choose Magisk or SuperSU (at least SuperSU Systemless mode)
- Long click on home button to open Google Now (Button shortcut can be edited, but opening Now On Tap (Assistant) is not an option, just searching app which brings Google App, which is useless)
- Let users choose in Aroma which Google apps will be installed
- Option to disable permission popup on app install (it`s ok, but really a problem when restoring titanium backup files)
p.s not able to install themes, i have checked free theme option in aurora settings, it has something to do with it? or what is exactly meaning of free themes
