[Q] Games on Ouya

Does it have a mapping tool so you can play games that don't support a controller or can you not download them at all?
don't know really. It has some kind of touch pad on it. But since Ouya has a controller, the games designed for it will have gamepad inputs.
for other games, who knows yet. Maybe Sixasxis Controller app may be able to help. It has touch simulator profiles. It's rather hit and miss on it's success. It's not the app, but some game's touch inputs are not static, so it makes it more difficult to setup.
they support sixaxis controllers natively, and there are rumours that a few people will be porting their controller-mapping apps to OUYA, for the purpose of adapting those touchscreen .apk's...
There is nothing so far on the marketplace or on the major OUYA forums
Has anyone tested the Interworks Controller Pro U (aka Retro Classic Controller) with the Ouya (or any Android device)? I'm especially interested in joystick functionality...

[Q] Use Fire TV Remote or Gamepad as emulated mouse for sideloaded apps?

Since many sideloaded apps require a mouse to use in place of a touchscreen, I'm wondering if the included Fire TV controller or the game pad accessory can be used to control a mouse cursor. Even an Xbox 360 controller would be better than using an actual mouse or the suggestions of using VNC. Thanks!

Sports Games for Fire TV?

Just bought a ouya controller ($17.99) at bestbuy online. I like old emulator games and sports games, but up until now haven't done much gaming on fire tv. I noticed NHL2k15
Has anyone tried this on fire tv? Also if there are any other games like NBA2k14 or 15 let me know if they work well on aftv. What I mean is are they made for touch screen devices? If so is there a way to make them playable with the controller. I have NBA 2k14 but as far as I can tell it's a touch screen version that works fine on my son's tablet but I can't find a way to change the settings to work with the ouya or any other gamepad.
Really it's an open question and any info is good and appreciated. Thanks.

The only way around this I can think of is if you had root on your AFTV. You could try using an application called tincore keymapper which would enable you to map physical buttons as touchscreen gestures. Also, there are some good sports games available to play via emulators. Try using a Playstation emulator such as Espxe or FPSE. Theres lots of sports games for that.

AFTV Remote on Android Phones - For gaming?

So I found the simple way to pair the AFTV remote to my Android phone (holding the Menu button while searching) and now control my Android with the little thing.
I grabbed Crossy Road on Amazon Appstore, and now have it on both my AFTV and phone. Of course, only the AFTV version lets me play with the controller. So the question is this... What app is good to make the AFTV's basic controls work on the screen?
I had the Sixaxis Controller app on my Galaxy S3 long ago, and that proved useful for controlling most non-controller games (Sonic Dash springs to mind). What's good for that with little remotes like the AFTV's then?

Moga Pro and touch emulation?

I have a Moga Pro, and Shield TV. I see in the Google Play store that there is an app called Moga Universal Driver, for mapping touch screen buttons to physical buttons on a Moga controller.
If I sideloaded this app to my Shield TV, could I use this with a Moga Pro with games that have touch only controls? Also, can I sideloaded and use games on my Shield TV that have Moga support?
I'd like to know this as well. Disabling the touchpad on the shield controller was a terrible idea. But apparently it's a Google TV thing, not Nvidia. Or so I've read over at the geforce forums.
Yea it's a Google thing, and they want you to buy Android TV compatible games. I started sideloading games that have controller support, but not all of them work.
I really want to play Hill Climb Racing and it's not Android TV compatible. I can sideload it and was wondering if the Moga controller would work for the on-screen gas and brake buttons.
