[UNOFFICIAL] 4.4.3 CM11 Source Built Weekly Builds - ONE Original Android Development

This is CM 11 Built from CM's source. This is unmodified from source. I noticed some of the features exclusive to the OPO are missing from the source built version. I think the source built version is more AOSP-ish than 11s that ships with the OPO. I will be doing weekly builds
I had to do a wipe coming from 11s so even if you are coming from CM 11s you MUST wipe. Not sure why, but it wouldn't boot until I wiped
Instructions:
Boot into recovery
Do a wipe/factory reset
flash CM 11
Flash gapps
reboot

As a matter of fact it seems to be running better than 11s that ships on the OPO

Yeah it's running great so far, no issues on my side, I'm only running minimal gapps as well the less bloat the better!

If you miss some of the cm 11s apps like the camera and gallery you can grab them from this thread and they are working
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/download-oneplus-firmware-dumpsnexus-4-t2752484
I've tested the camera, gallery, screen cast and the theme store.

Yeah, Just wish my computer was faster and I had a vps to compile roms on
Working great so far!
Been using it for a day now. Haven't run into any problems yet, and is fast and smooth. Thanks bro!
Just wanted to share that this Android L theme works well. I'm using it for everything but boot animation and icons. Plus it's free.
Got a build working with Linaro and @lovejoy777's 777 Kernel.

If you email the VP, they will cusotmize your options... I had, I think, 80+GB and 4gb ram for around $15-20 /mo. That was about a year ago since I had it so I don't remember exactly. I compiled 4.2/4.3 ROMs in like 15-30 minutes after repo sync was full.

I recommend a clean flash if coming from another ROM.
hi
I am interested on this rom and i wonder if someone has test it already.
i am running slimkat which is pretty good but starts lagging with time.
Do you have the same behavior with this one?
Is this one compatible with ART?

I can tell it starts lagging when you dirty flash a dew times. That's why I haven't pushed an update in a while.

Just installed this and initial impression is that it works great. Didn't touch my Kindle Fire for a year and i can see there are a lot of improvements made in this time.
I'll keep you posted on the long term (and gaming) performance (installing heartstone and the cave right now).
(Modern) gaming didn't work, heartstone didn't start en the cave has low fps and crashes after 2 minutes. Maybe a little bit too ambitious.
Battery life is much better then before. Only installed Gapps and one google account sync. After 24h on standby (wifi was enabled) i still got 30% battery.
Nothing compares to cm7 on the his device even though it sucks. 2 weeks battery.

I'm not sure if this device would benefit from linaro or sabermod cm builds on lollipop

[ROM][SGH-T889 / T0LTETMO][4.4.4][UNOFFICIAL] OmniRom 4.4.4 - Builds of opportunity

As many of you know the GSM Note 2 is supported by Team OmniROM in a unified build format. This work is inspiring to me as the team split from CM for altruistic reasons. I have come to consider OmniROM my AOSP branch of choice due to their philosophy toward security and development.
I see a niche for our community where some of our members may be uncomfortable utilizing the unified build for any number of reasons.
My product is no more than a straight source built t0ltetmo build as the OmniROM spec is drawn up for the t0lte and adapted by the t0ltetmo spec on the OmniROM github. All source is available at the OmniROM git. I make no changes unless noted (in the remote chance that changes occur they will be documented/git referrenced).
I make no promises or warranty of any kind, all flashing is done at your own risk and should not be thought to be the responsibility of anyone other than the person deciding to flash the ROM. While I will attempt to help you work through issues, I do not plan on integrating non-Omni commits or "fixes" with very few exceptions. If it is broken in the unified build it will be broken in this one as well.
I plan on putting up new builds weekly if not a bit more frequently if I am inspired. If I see a change in OmniROM commits that looks promising I expect that I would post a new build. Getting to the point where stuff wasn't broken took some serious banging of the head.
Flashing instructions:
Using the most current TWRP, ClockworkMod, or PhilzTouch recovery; wipe data, system, cache, and dalvik (especially if coming from a different ROM).
Flash the unofficial OmniRom .zip file from the link below
Flash the gapps of your choice (CM or PA are good)
Boot phone and let sit on a stationary flat surface.
Do not touch the device for 10 minutes to allow the caches to build.
Reboot the device and set up

And certainly not least mattlowry for being solid from his first posts in the doubleshot community, evolving along with weekendsR2short to porting for the doubleshot, and elevating his game on the Note 2. His advice and example made the unfathomable become doable.

10/14/14 - I know the camera is a bit weird with how it won't connect after a while. This is present in the unified build as well.
1st!! Yeah! Thanks for another great rom amd contribution to our community!
Coug is definitely one of the greats in our GN2 community. Total warrior in my book. Grateful for his time and talent.
Awesome build, but I am not getting any mobile data. I used Philz recovery. Anything I am missing here?
EDIT: Just tried with the latest TWRP also, still no mobile networks.

Thank you for this! my Att Note 2 is far from dead and the way Att and the other "Providers" want to charge for every single little stinkin' thing.. (A 40$ SmartPhone charge from ATT? NO WAY) is ridiculous I plan to make this phone last quite a while if possible and folks like YOU and stuff like THIS make that possible! Thank you sir!
This type of thing is my way of giving back to the community and developing my understanding of the software we rely on.

The only difference is this is built from source with the I317 build prop baked in from the start. It is nothing earth shattering. Some folks really prefer a ROM built for the specific model they use.

I have had one person test it. He said all functions of the phone seem to be working except maybe the carrier name was wrong, it said Sprint instead of his carrier where he lives.

I can't get either of you guys' liquid builds to boot. It keeps looping at the "LIQUIDSMOOTH" With the symbol below the words. It gets past the water pouring, but keeps looping at the second part. I just let it sit for 10 minutes and nothing changed. I didn't flash anything extra, rom only. They both do the same thing. I don't mean to cross threads here since Kevin built one as well. But I figured I would mention it here since you both posted.
Any suggestions either of you?

Is this on a clean install? As In TWRP wipe data, dalvik cache, cache and system. DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE. Then flash the rom.
I have had one person already test it out and his is using it currently on LS970, boots just fine. You could also try wiping cache and dalvik cache if it loops.
Considering its on both roms Its probably not rom related.
What device do you have exactly?

I apologize for not being more specific.
1) yes it was an install on a clean partition. I use multiRom and installed it as a secondary rom, which is basically like installing the rom on a virtually clean partition. I have been doing this for awhile and only ran into a few issue. One being stock based roms as secondary. The other issues I have had are ROM or recovery based.
2) I am using an LS970 LG Optimus G from Sprint.
3) the roms I tried and am mentioning here are both LiquidSmooth so it very possibly could be rom (sources) based. I have no issues with Kevins device sources, the same with gproj sources, which I believe you used for the LS970.
I will try to install it again and wipe data, and caches before booting. That may help.

Hi there!
I was the one that actually tested the previous build for clementino and I am using it as a daily driver. I used the previous build and am downloading this new build as I type this reply. From what I had read around, using the lollipop build as a secondary doesn't always work.
first boot of LS 4.0 after clean install could take up to 10 - 15 minutes so I would suggest to wait that long as well. I use the Sprint LG Optimus G LS970 as well but I bought it in Indonesia as an unlocked phone and it already has another service provider on it with working data plan. This causes some problems for me at times when changing ROMs because it would sometimes cause me to lose data. Never the less the build is solid.
I assume this new build eliminates the CM theme engine and added RRO. Overall, I'm just excited about this new build.

I have CM12 for LS970 installed as secondary. With the updated TWRP there are no issues on installing Lollipop as primary or secondary. I am not trying to bash. I am trying to install Liquid smooth. I had Kevins Liquid Trex and it was awesome, but now there are newer versions and updates and fixes. Every other LP rom has installed fine. The only other thing I will try is to install as primary. If it works, I can backup, then restore it as secondary.
Also, what do you mean updated? Have you not tried the 01-18 build that is linked in the OP?

I'm sorry dopy25, I thought that clementinox has uploaded another build since he already uploaded the new builds he had for geeb. I didn't realize it until the download was completed. The 01-18 build is the one I'm running. But I think he's prepared another build. The only issue I encountered with this build, aside from the mentioned wrong carrier name is that in the lock screen it would show (no sim - Sprint) at the top left corner. Although text and calls work, my data doesn't and I assume it has something to do with my phone not on Sprint (APNs etc).
@dopy25
You need do update multirom TWRP once again, there was fixes for some ROMs which us block based zips, my liquid is working as secondary now and his should also.

You are absolutely right. After the update I grabbed from your server, I was able to install both Liquid roms as secondary. However, neither have the developer options available. Is there a different way to activate them in Liquid?
Also, @clementinox I have pretty much everything working in your ROM, but it caused my boot loader to freeze at the google loading screen. That was on reboot. It just sat there. So I had to go in recovery and wipe stuff again. So, to everyone else wanting to try this with gproj sources. It does indeed work.
Finally another Lollipop ROM!
Downloading now, if something goes wrong I'll report, thanks! :good:
Download link sends me to 01/18 is that the last build?

Whoohoo... I knew it... backing up data and preparing to clean flash another build by @clementinox .

As Expected, downloaded and will try out your newest build.
Have you found the cause of the No Sim Card sign on the lockscreen or is it still there? Hopefully with this new update I can set the APN to my carrier's and get working data again! Thanks clementinox! :fingers-crossed:
I love the extra features against other ROMs (like cyanogem) but... I really miss themes, which was a "hell no!" when I found that it is not present in the ROM... And editable QS... So I'll in the meantime...
I Hope to see a build with all that in the future :good:

[ROM][SUBSTRATUM][N9] Krexus 7.1.1 [OFFICIAL] [03.09.2017]

krexus_7.1.1-170309-flounder.zip - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=144667 March security updates & Rootless Substratum
THINGS TO READ BEFORE ASKING:
Use N4F26T Vendor Image for 03/09.2017 build.
Stock kernel does not force encryption.
Not prerooted.
Built for the Nexus 9 Wifi (but it works on Nexus 9 LTE too. Flash latest volantisg vendor IMG and manually set APN)

Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, shamu builds are provided AS-IS, and bugs/missing stuff/features especially for them will be put on the lowest priority and will depend on my free time. I will only guarantee the nexus 5 ROM and its abilities.
That said, welcome aboard!

CHANGELOG
Source Code: https://github.com/krexus
When @KreAch3R started building this ROM for shamu in 2015, I jumped on board right away. I've got Krexus running on every Nexus in my family: mako, hammerhead, shamu, grouper, and NOW flounder.
It runs beautifully on flounder and I hope you enjoy it too.
I am extremely grateful to @KreAch3R for all of his help and support.
IMPORTANT POINTS:
You have to flash GApps (Open or BaNks recommended)
ROM is not rooted, flash stable SuperSu for root
Busybox is included
Included kernel is stock no-force-encrypt
Flash newest factory vendor.img (I had Layers issues with stock selinux enforcing kernel on an older vendor version. Newest vendor.img works perfectly with stock kernel enforcing and layers)

BELIEVE ME, THE QUESTION YOU HAVE IS PROBABLY ANSWERED THERE.
Thank you for supporting the building for flounder, @buffal0b1ll!
For the next build, I will try to make Layers work with the default google kernel, and fix the processor info.
I want to specifically thank @BeansTown106, which device trees and blobs I used for this bringup.
Enjoy Krexus!

Layers actually works fine with the default kernel and SELinux enforcing. An up to date vendor.img flash was all I needed to fix that.

I'm still using fire-ice 10.2.2 and haven't noticed slow charging. In 18 minutes I went from 27 to 35% just now. Ampere has me charging at 1460 mAh

I'm glad you like it! I don't know, as I don't have either device. Are the ROMs interchangeable on these two variants? For reference, the device tree is highly based on PureNexus' excellent tree (both based on AOSP with very few commits). The kernel is the default google kernel for flounder.

Got it. FYI I'd been manually vendor fixing the fingerprint since December on the Wi-Fi flounder and had layers issues on the stock enforcing kernel. Fire ice made it work with the old hacked vendor partition. To make layers work with stock kernel i updated to may factory vendor.img
