I have had one person test it. He said all functions of the phone seem to be working except maybe the carrier name was wrong, it said Sprint instead of his carrier where he lives.

I can't get either of you guys' liquid builds to boot. It keeps looping at the "LIQUIDSMOOTH" With the symbol below the words. It gets past the water pouring, but keeps looping at the second part. I just let it sit for 10 minutes and nothing changed. I didn't flash anything extra, rom only. They both do the same thing. I don't mean to cross threads here since Kevin built one as well. But I figured I would mention it here since you both posted.
Any suggestions either of you?

Is this on a clean install? As In TWRP wipe data, dalvik cache, cache and system. DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE. Then flash the rom.
I have had one person already test it out and his is using it currently on LS970, boots just fine. You could also try wiping cache and dalvik cache if it loops.
Considering its on both roms Its probably not rom related.
What device do you have exactly?

I apologize for not being more specific.
1) yes it was an install on a clean partition. I use multiRom and installed it as a secondary rom, which is basically like installing the rom on a virtually clean partition. I have been doing this for awhile and only ran into a few issue. One being stock based roms as secondary. The other issues I have had are ROM or recovery based.
2) I am using an LS970 LG Optimus G from Sprint.
3) the roms I tried and am mentioning here are both LiquidSmooth so it very possibly could be rom (sources) based. I have no issues with Kevins device sources, the same with gproj sources, which I believe you used for the LS970.
I will try to install it again and wipe data, and caches before booting. That may help.

Hi there!
I was the one that actually tested the previous build for clementino and I am using it as a daily driver. I used the previous build and am downloading this new build as I type this reply. From what I had read around, using the lollipop build as a secondary doesn't always work.
first boot of LS 4.0 after clean install could take up to 10 - 15 minutes so I would suggest to wait that long as well. I use the Sprint LG Optimus G LS970 as well but I bought it in Indonesia as an unlocked phone and it already has another service provider on it with working data plan. This causes some problems for me at times when changing ROMs because it would sometimes cause me to lose data. Never the less the build is solid.
I assume this new build eliminates the CM theme engine and added RRO. Overall, I'm just excited about this new build.

I have CM12 for LS970 installed as secondary. With the updated TWRP there are no issues on installing Lollipop as primary or secondary. I am not trying to bash. I am trying to install Liquid smooth. I had Kevins Liquid Trex and it was awesome, but now there are newer versions and updates and fixes. Every other LP rom has installed fine. The only other thing I will try is to install as primary. If it works, I can backup, then restore it as secondary.
Also, what do you mean updated? Have you not tried the 01-18 build that is linked in the OP?

I'm sorry dopy25, I thought that clementinox has uploaded another build since he already uploaded the new builds he had for geeb. I didn't realize it until the download was completed. The 01-18 build is the one I'm running. But I think he's prepared another build. The only issue I encountered with this build, aside from the mentioned wrong carrier name is that in the lock screen it would show (no sim - Sprint) at the top left corner. Although text and calls work, my data doesn't and I assume it has something to do with my phone not on Sprint (APNs etc).

@dopy25
You need do update multirom TWRP once again, there was fixes for some ROMs which us block based zips, my liquid is working as secondary now and his should also.

You are absolutely right. After the update I grabbed from your server, I was able to install both Liquid roms as secondary. However, neither have the developer options available. Is there a different way to activate them in Liquid?
Also, @clementinox I have pretty much everything working in your ROM, but it caused my boot loader to freeze at the google loading screen. That was on reboot. It just sat there. So I had to go in recovery and wipe stuff again. So, to everyone else wanting to try this with gproj sources. It does indeed work.

Finally another Lollipop ROM!
Downloading now, if something goes wrong I'll report, thanks! :good:
Download link sends me to 01/18 is that the last build?

Have you found the cause of the No Sim Card sign on the lockscreen or is it still there? Hopefully with this new update I can set the APN to my carrier's and get working data again! Thanks clementinox! :fingers-crossed:

I love the extra features against other ROMs (like cyanogem) but... I really miss themes, which was a "hell no!" when I found that it is not present in the ROM... And editable QS... So I'll in the meantime...
I Hope to see a build with all that in the future :good:

[KK 4.4.4][ROM]Mackay ROM 4.9.13 (11-Oct-2014)

I have been sharing my CM7/CM9/CM10/CM10.1/CM10.2-based builds for some time in several thread, which culminated in the MackayROM. I continue now with KK4.4 from where I was for JB4.3. MackayROM is based on CyanogenMod sources, with several performance enhancements.
About Cyanogen: CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Disclaimer: I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
If you run into errors, I may not be able to solve it!
If you know a solution to a problem, either upload it yourself to Gerrit Code Review or contact me through pm.
The ROM is based on Cyanogen sources with the following changes:
-Mackay Kernel:
-Set of cherries picked from gerrit (differing by the day)
-Some additional patches I did myself to the source code
Feature request are OK, but remember:
1. I try to stay close to stock
2. I will not include additional apps, unless they can be build from source
3. The time I spend on features depends on how much I like them myself
Although it is possible to enable ART, this is not advisable:
-Takes long to convert from Dalvik to ART on first boot
-Needs more RAM
-Can cause soft reboots
But off course, YMMV -> light users may have better luck
Changelog of 4.9.14 - 5-Nov-2014
-CM11.0 codebase of 3-Nov-2014
-TWRP updated to 2.8.1.0
Full changelog of 4.9.14 compared to stock CM11.0:
CM11.0 sources of 3-Nov-2014
Mackay kernel:
Separate kernel thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2532813
TWRP (2.8.1.0):
-Themed orange
-Run recovery-apps (zip files should be present in /system/mackay, launch them through advanced->run app)
Removed apps:
-VideoEditor & demo VideoFiles
vendor/cm:
-Adapt for custom MackayROM building (bootanimation, ROM&file name)
-Custom bootanimation (Thanks to Malcho)
vendor/samsung:
-Added scripts for Mackay Settings
hardware/samsung:
-F4k 720p patch for bigmem kernels
AriesParts (“Mackay Settings” in Settings menu):
Add mackay kernel settings options:
>WiFi PM mode selection
>BLX settings
>BLN activation
>Navbar selection
>Low RAM mode selection
For other projects (frameworks/base & Settings, check my github for the latest patches)
Coming from stock Samsung ROM/CM7:
-The safest way is to flash CM9 first and then flash Mackay ROM. Going directly from Samsung ROM/CM7 to Mackay ROM may lead to loosing IMEI.
Fresh install:
Can be flashed on top of any CyanogenMod build:
-Do a factory reset
-Flash ROM
-Flash gapps
-Reboot your phone
Update:
-Flash ROM
-Reboot your phone
(no wipes or other things needed, just flash & reboot)
-Custom kernels can be used only if specific for KK4.4
Credits:
-teamhacksung/pawitp for making CyanogenMod work on our ancient phone
-stratosk/DerTeufel/Mialwe for the inspiration I got from their kernels
-rootax for providing a high-speed server for high quality downloads
-Malcho for his kernel splash & bootanimation

I always build these ROMs myself from CM sources + my own additions to CM sources, so no need for "official" CM11 builds to enable my own ROMs to be build.

Thanks for KK rom :good: :good:
OP's link to Gapps contains five different builds- some with ART compatibility. Is there a preferred one? ART works/tested, or better stick to delvik for a little while?
A few things I noticed:
- If I select Performance settings from Mackay app, Settings force closes.
- Orientation tile is buggy, sometimes it seems to work, sometimes not.
The ROM is very snappy, thank you very much for your work!
Kasper_h installed this rom and I have a bug. When I want to enable high-speed data connections settings crashes me the error: com.android.systemui and closing forces. Framework to overloads.
Thanks for the rom, There isnt any bug list?
Installed on CM11 and works fine.No forced closure and fast enough to be a test.
so no separate kernel 0.600

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][4.4.3][D2TMO/D2LTE] Omni Rom for all D2s [Multi-window][OpenDelta]

This is an unofficial build of Omni Rom based on KitKit 4.4.2. There is no official support for the d2 variants. Props to androidsftw for picking apart what was needed for our d2s.
I am not the dev of this rom, all I did was add in necessary device/vendor/d2 files for d2. This is not a port, everything has been built from source.
As with all things root, I am not responsible for anything that happens while flashing this rom. You take responsibility for your actions. Nandroid is your friend.
----------------------------------
Downloads:
Omni Rom for the D2LTE - Droidhype Roms
GAPPS 4.4.2 - PA 0-Day
SuperSU - Chainfire
Kernel (optional) - BMS
----------------------------------
Installing for the first time? Grab the newest full zip from the D2LTE directory. For future updates, just go to Settings -> System Updates and let the magic happen.
HOW TO INSTALL
1. Factory Data reset
2. Wipe System/Data/Dalvik/Cache
3. Install ROM zip from Sdcard
4. Install GAPPS zip from Sdcard
5. Install SuperSU from Sdcard
6. Reboot to home screen to confirm good flash
7. (Optional) Reboot to recovery and flash kernel
TO USE DELTAS, YOU HAVE TO USE TWRP OR PHILZ RECOVERY. CWM WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE IT DISABLES SCRIPTING CAPABILITIES BY DEFAULT. If there's anything that you want the updater to flash automatically after it flashes your update, put the file(s) in the FlashAfterUpdate directory inside your Opendelta folder in your internal storage.
Join the BMS G+ community which will have quicker release info in the future for all things BMS and roms.
Enjoy!

This build is unofficial, so I don't exactly carry around a changelog. However, you can always check cmxlog for omni and see what's been changed with each version of one of their nightlies. It won't be exact as some have specific device merges, but it will give you a good idea. The dates on my builds will correspond with the officials listed on cmxlog.
You can also check their gerrit or git to see what's been merged.
This question gets posted pretty frequently so if some users could please bookmark this post, we can just repost it when needed. Here are all the links you can peruse for your changelog/update enjoyment.

[ROMS][KK][From Source] Sonic ROM [SOKP] & [PORTED] XenonHD & BeanStalk

Hello Everyone!!
So here is a new ROM I compiled yesterday, it does have a lot of features and it is called SONIC OPEN KANG PROJECT
I didn't open a new thread for it because I'm not gonna be updating it unless many users encourage me to do so...
Anyway I thought I should share it with you guys, for who ever wanna test it
Here is this ROM's features:
http://sonic-developers.com/?page_id=160
Also here is a quick review for the ROM:
And for more info visit their website:

I've started uploading my files to androidfilehost.com , hoping you like it more than Dev-host
SOKP-MS-04-KK444-KTU84Q-20140726-amami.zip
Here are my screenhots as well:
Hello Guys,
Since our lovely Z1C is relatively new, it doesn't have many CM based ROMs, so I thought why not porting some
from the closest phone to ours (which is obviously Xperia Z1).
So I'll be presenting five ports for five ROMs as mentioned in the title, but I'm gonna start with a simple guide for how to port the ROM yourselves
All you have to do to port a CM11 based ROM from Z1 is:
Download the Z1 ROM and extract it wherever you want
Open META-INF\com\google\android\updater-script with any text editor and remove first five lines (assert)
Download This for old builds, and This for new builds, then unzip it
Copy and replace "boot.img" from the previous zip to your Z1 ROM
Copy and replace "modules" folder to system\lib\modules in your Z1 ROM

ro.sf.lcd_density=480
to become:
Code:

ro.sf.lcd_density=320
that is it, although there are optional things you may do before compressing the ported ROM:
In system/build.prop search for honami and replace them with amami
And then search for C6903 and replace them with D5503
Also you may wonna add "Compact" here:
ro.product.model=Xperia Z1 Compact

You may also open META-INF\com\android\metadata and do the same replaces
Resign the ROM.zip after compressing it
Important Notes:
DO THIS ON YOUR OWN RISK
You must be running KK ROM before flashing these ROMs down below
This method won't work on Slimkat, although you can grab it from Here
All bugs in these ROMs are related to the original ROM not issues caused by posting
Fell free to report any bugs you face though, and I'll enlist them in known issues
PacMan ROM and MoKee ROM are officially supported, so there is no need to port them
Instructions for all ROMs down below:
Copy the zip to your device
Reboot into recovery
Backup of your system (optional)
Do a factory reset and format [/system]
Flash the Zip

Great work!
I wonder if you would do Slimrom also, it is a mainstream ROM with many innovations that other ROMs have copied.
[edit] Duh I just read your comment about slimkat. That'll learn me to read OPs properly...
wow, this looks good, i think ill try MoKee, just one question, is everything working ?
Just flash rom and some gapps ?

I don't expect updates to appear in the ROM's settings, but if they do,
yes updating that way should mess up a lot, it should make a bootloop.
anyway if you see an update for the ROM you're using, just tell me and I'll port the new release right away

Yeah it's been a week, so here are the Updates of this week:
Updated Carbon ROM to build 4 (2014-04-09)
Updated MoKee ROM to build 2014-04-04 (its kernel was updated to FXP314)
Added XenonHD ROM latest release build 5 [2014-04-02] (download link in second post)
it is very customizable (can't describe it enough)
you can check more info about it in its main thread
about the kernel update, it seems like FXP team have messed up thier kernel a little
so when I tried it on Carbon and XenonHD I got some sort of bootloop,
but it worked fine on MoKee, so MoKee is the only ROM that has FXP314 kernel,
I don't recommended anyone to use it for porting so I didn't upload it

Actually the problem is not much with the latest kernel, but rather with the ROMs:
Recently there was a huge changeset merged in CM tree, among other things it took in kernel a lot of CAF code\blobs from 4.4 Sony sources, and Xperia CM ROM was rebased on this CAF kernel.
It means, that the ROMs based on CM must be rebuild using latest sources, otherwise they'll have a bootloop with the new CAF kernel =)

unfortunately yes, if you want to flash a custom kernel, you have to have an unlocked bootloader (and that is required to flash custom ROM)

[ROM][5.1][Flounder] Pure AOSP 3/18/15 [LMY47D]

Hello! I'll be posting pure AOSP builds whenever there are new versions of android released (providing I have the time).
If you choose to use these builds, please ensure you have unlocked your bootloader and have custom recovery installed. I have also noticed that TWRP seems a little wonky at this point, so in order for me to flash it correctly, I had to wipe, then restart recovery, then flash. Hope that's not the case for everyone else.
3/18/15
Added ability to change DPI.
3/15/15
No longer messes with recovery at all. Bluetooth working, data does not force encrypt.
3/13/15
Android 5.1.0_r1 (LMY47D)
This release will wipe your recovery. If anyone needs this changed let me know and I will build another.
1/3/2015
Android 5.0.2_r1 (LRX22G)
Data is now encryptable, meaning your unencrypted data should stick going forward.
Included my own build of stock kernel with Linaro 4.9.3 toolchain.
Fixed bluetooth (thanks Lollipopalooza/Craig)
No longer need to re-flash recovery.
12/6/2014
Android 5.0.1_r1 (LRX22C)
You will need to install separate gapps
You will need to re-flash your custom recovery after you install (you all let me know if I should change this or not, I think I will on future builds)
I am not responsible for anything that happens to your device or to you, yourself while flashing this.
Latest DL Links will be in post #2.

From what I understand the apps themselves need to be optimized for 64 internally. These are all Google apps so they are if Google did so. As you update from the play store you don't choose if you're running 64bit or not.
As always I can be wrong.

Edit: Okay so I used an app to look at which sensors were working and which ones weren't... The proximity sensor is not working at all.

I use USBhost's version of TWRP. I tried to flash the rom following directions in OP. It wouldn't flash. First it said for flounder and this device is flounder. Also said something about updater binary. I got this with the other rom also. I tried un-mounting and mounting system, but I still got the error messages. Any ideas?

I manually changed it to work with official twrp... Not sure why twrp is calling it volantis instead of flounder but that's why. Also, to get anything to flash in twrp at the moment, I have to reboot recovery after wiping. Hope this helps.

[ROM][H811/H815][7.0-7.1][OFFICIAL] Lineage OS 14.0/14.1 for LG G4

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 7.1 (Nougat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

It is
Was running the 10-05 build for several days. I find it works just as good as CM13, possibly better (smoother/faster). Bugs are very minimal, features are too but overall this is a very stable and solid build so far!
THANK YOU @genesixxbf3 for bringing this to us! I don't really like CM13, but 14, something about it is very nice (coming from someone that prefers stock over aosp).
EDIT: It should be posted that H811 users need to be on 20o FW before flashing this, to make sure they get best experience (if you want sound/camera working).
EDIT2: Oh and now there is a thread for me to report: Zooming with standard gallery hot-reboots the phone.

Unfortunately I am not sure about the h815. With the h811 we had a recent issue where we had to be on the latest FW for it to fully work.
I would 'assume' it would be the same for you. May wish to wait for 815 users to report back which FW they're on and how it all works for them.
(and you don't have to actually be running the stock ROM before flashing this, the firmware is a once-flash-always-flashed type situation; firmware is not ROM based it stays between ROMs)

Hmmm. I don't use android pay but I read somewhere that you can use it with cm 14 or 13 if you use an official and stable build , not nightly or unofficial , and disable superuser in developer settings.
Of course I don't know if that's true
